I have to say, I really like Sharon and Rey as a couple and I equally like seeing them work as a detective team! Their trip to Vegas seems hot and sexy. I think I enjoy it a lot because they aren’t just a couple who are attracted to each other and enjoying each other’s company. We see that all the time. Working as a team gives them a stronger bond and changes things up a little, as we don’t see this often. It is nice to see a couple helping each other and not always having a deep dark… Read more »

Jack used the expression ‘conscience coupling” just like Gwenth Paltrow had said “unconscience coupling when she and the lead singer of Coldplay had broken up. That phrase was popular for a while.

We learned that Kristoff St. John improvised the scene where he first meets Dina on the airplane and he kisses her hand. You can tell that the actress was definitely charmed by Kristoff when she was speaking about him during the tribute!

It seems the scene where Devon is imagining Elena’s face to be Hilary laughing was likely filmed when the actress came back to speak about Kristoff St. John. I don’t think it was old footage. I like that Y&R did that, as it makes it realistic that Devon would probably seeing her Hilary’s face when he is out on a date.

The tribute to Kristoff St. John was very nice and heartfelt. It really does seem that the character we saw on television was what Kristoff was like in real life. A great guy!

What is Rebekah Barlow’s function exactly? As a consultant, what is her area of expertise? So far all she’s done was ask the junior executives what their ideas are

Theo, the bearded wonder, works for Jabot now?

Kyle has become the lap dog for Lola now. You will rue the day you threw you lot in with Miss Prissy Queen of the Desert Kyle.

Charging Mia with attempted murder is overkill. True, she is guilty of assaulting Lola, but she did not intend to murder her.

Very true. But do you remember the crime that Victor committed that got him sent to prison for (not) ten years?

I listened and listened–All I ever heard them say was “heinous crimes.”

Attempted murder might be closer.

One more thing: If Mia goes down, then want to bet that she tries to bring down Rey with her? That gets rid of Sharon’s beau just in time for a lost love to appear (in theory.)

ATTENTION Young and the restless writing staff: NO NO NO, we are not putting Lauren and Jack together. That scene between them at the Abbott mansion was a little too close for comfort for me. We’ve had enough “testing of the waters” let’s keep happy couples together! Who’s with me?!!

I stand with Connor Benson against a Jack & Lauren couple. Hopefully Y & R is showcasing friendship

I rescind my support. I’ll accept anything just to have funny Michael Baldwin on screen more often

Agreed. We don’t get enough funny Michael Baldwin.

(That said, I recommend watching this when you’ve got time. It’s part of the cast reading the first episode at the Paley Center. Christian LeBlanc goes over the top (surprise, I know), and it cracks up EB. I think it’s an older video, so I apologize if you’ve seen it.). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YH2DIbbym0

If there is any excuse to have Lauren free herself from those skin-tight, uncomfortable outfits and go au naturale then I am all in for it.

That scene made me uncomfortable. i kept wondering where Michael was and why Lauren was acting like a single woman looking for a man. Also I do wish Lauren could have a new hairstyle. It is identical in every scene, and from year to year.

The Daytime Emmy’s are Sunday. Each soap gets to submit two reels in order to be considered in the best drama category. Y&R submitted the night the margarita crew “killed” J.T. and the day Ashley and Jack fought in the office of Jabot when Jack found out Ashley duped him into thinking he wasn’t an Abbot and Jack threw the office chair through the window.

I’m so glad Tessa isn’t irritating anymore. With the Crystal storyline and the Marguerita Crew caper over, we can now enjoy her and Mariah’s relationship. I love watching Tessa’s micro expressions. For example when Mariah told Devon she was her bodyguard, Tessa looked surprised then a split second later her expression read ‘sure why not’. Tessa is fun to watch when others are talking.

Victor and another one of his mysterious trips. When Nikki first got out of jail, he said he would never leave “my baby” again.
She’s barely out of her orange jumpsuit, and he’s already off to who knows where, and can’t tell Nikki where, “for her own good.”
I’m so over Victor. He would be livid if Nikki did the same thing to him. Double standards, much?

Mariah’s presence at Tessa’s contract signing was extremely inappropriate. I know Ali has commented on Mariah’s behavior before abt being a busy body and being too involved with other people’s business but this was the first time for me where I think she REALLY went overboard. This is abt conducting business, and Mariah really had no say in Tessa’s contract.

I comepety agree!!! I did not like how Mariah was sticking her opinion about Tessa songwriting work/contract. If she has an issue she needs to bring it up to Tessa separately. All I kept thinking was you are the one Mariah who set this whole thing up. Tessa is a big girl she can handle her own work meetings with Ana, if Mariah is asked to be there for support then fine but let it be Tessa’s meeting.

It feels like Mariah thinks she’s going to be excluded and is desperately trying to hang on.

OR It could be that Mariah is getting more threats than we know about and she just wants to be around what she perceives as safety.

I love Kyle and Lola a whole lot more but I have to admit that Lola has her annoying moments. She would be less annoying if she wasn’t so insecure. I mean Kyle has seen her naked before, so I don’t even understand why she’s so worried abt Kyle’s reaction the first time they have sex.

I can see your point Consuela, but I am not going to lie I enjoyed watching those imaginary scenes between Lola and Kyle because they brought comedic relief. Especially when Lola shouted out “WHAT?!” outloud because she was so in her head. I found it quite humorous.

Mariah: “…it was probably just a fan who hated my latest hairstyle”

Chatters: (gulp) “Wasn’t me”
