I don’t mid it once in a while but not all the time,this is a soap,not glee
I also wanted to add to the Ali’s question about the pills when you have a panic attack or anxiety. In my case few times I had to take a pill because i couldn’t calm myself down.. And to be honest it helps .Maybe the brain thinking that this is the “cure” and starts relaxin a bit but after a 30 min or 1 hour it calmed me down totally. So it depends . I don’t mind it. It’s actually nice to see and experience their talents, Plus sometimes the songs really fits in certain episodes I must say.
So to me the amount is right I guess

I like some of them but I don’t want them every week. I found the one with Jett & Ana this week corny especially with the dancing. I didn’t like the song either. I loved the one at Devon’s penthouse where everyone was spontaneously singing. The singing does help distract me from the plot driven & slow storylines. There are a lot of things I’m not liking lately on YR.
No thank you. Music preference is so personal that trying to hit average means bland, run of the mill lyrics and melody
I voted I want feeer musci performances. I enjoy the odd song but more as a montage at the end of the show where they show an overview of other characters in a scene with the song playing overhead.

Maybe keep it at a maximum of once a week? I enjoyed the ‘some some some kind of special’ song. I just want some time to let the songs marinate a bit, instead of throwing them all at once at me.
I can do without it. I would recommend limiting it to holidays or special events (similar to Nurses Ball on General Hospital) This way viewers who enjoy it can look forward to those episodes and those that don’t can DVR or skip them. Since we live in a social media/digital music era, I wish they would also consider having a brief sample and promoting a music website during the middle part or end of the show like “catch this song and others on either a certain music website or music app or CBS website or YouTube. I agree with you on Traci! I want that novel to be real so I can buy it! Many years ago there was a book titled Passions based off a soap of the same name. I bought the book. YR should do something similar, I know fans buy it & it could even grow the viewing audience.
I don’t think it’s a big deal one way or the other. This is not Y&R, 1973 and singing is not going to take over the show. There are overlapping stories (plural) featuring the music business so you have to have it. Maybe protest the storyline over the individual warbling.. Personally, for the voices that don’t like the music getting in the way of the acting, I would see Ana and Jet as more intrusive than Tessa who’s quality of voice has a spiritual element presenting the opportunity to be moved… With Tessa, singing is organic and seems a reflection… Read more »
Hey Ali just letting you know you have the wrong apartment in your mind… Victor did have a penthouse with hope but it was totally different… Victor and Nikki but the penthouse right after at the ranch burned and that is when I had it on the show
I don’t mind when Tess or somebody is singing and I voted give me a fewer musical performances on the show. If there was an option to say give me no musical performances on the show I probably would’ve picked that. I don’t mind when Tess or somebody is singing and they are showing scenes from everybody’s lives I think it’s pretty good but that’s about it for me. I am fast forwarding all musical performances and I am sure it is almost a complete episode LOL.
