When the custody battle between Nick and Adam over Christian finally gets into court, I want the judge to order a DNA test. Christian’s parentage has been too muddied in the past. A judge would be foolish not to request another test. Who knows, there could be a twist in the results after all.
It just occurred to me that Chelsea doesn’t want to establish a connection between Conner and Adam, because somebody may try to contest the validity of Calvin’s will by nullifying Conner’s adoption, and if they get ahold of that tape.
I just listened to podcast about the week. When Victor was at the bar in Society, I don’t think he was confused about the brand of alcohol. He was confused where he was. He said, “I have been drinking here for years, and ordering my favorite.” I think he was confused and thought he was at the Athletic Club.
I think there is a key storyline with Summer drinking so much after a liver donation. She may end up in hospital, and Kyle is still her husband, so they will contact him first.
Does Nick rescue Sharon? I feel like other than at the origination of their relationship he has been particularly cruel to her at the lowest points of her life. When they were grieving over Cassie he tuned her out, and turned to Phyllis, getting her pregnant and leaving Sharon to marry her. When they became engaged while Phyllis was in her coma, Sharon felt that she had a repressed memory that she feared would turn him against her, he swore nothing would make that happen, but sure enough when be found out about the Summer paternity switch be dumped her… Read more »
My memory of Sharon and Nick after Cassie’s death was that Sharon took off first. That’s when she was somewhere and killed the guy that she and Nicki drug through the sewer. I remember she left Nick. Then Nick and Phyllis took off after Daniel who they thought was responsible for Cassie’s death. Nick and Phyllis’ relationship seemed to start innocently because Nick was grieving Cassie, and had been abandoned by Sharon. Does anyone else remember this sequence? Sharon also left some time and went to that farm and had brown hair. Nick has gone out of his way to… Read more »
I googled it and two different websites say that Nick and Phyllis started the affair after Nick and Sharon grew distant after Cassies death. One site said Sharon grew close to Brad during that time, and they kissed, which she felt guilty over, and confessed to Nick, but he was already sleeping with Phyllis before the kiss, Sharon found split with him. I get mixed up on the stories sometimes, but would have hated to think I despised Phyllis for nothing:
I feel like I remember Phyllis and Nick first time in the barn, while Sharon was in their house, but it was probably during video games.
See? N & Ph started their affair AFTER the distance between N & Sh. And I really remember Sharon just left Nick and Faith without saying.
I wonder if Michael will become DA again as part of a sting with Kevin to bring down Adam. As for Victor, I do not like this story at all with his illness since we had a enough of that when J.T. pushed him down the stairs and he was hospitalized in the early months of 2018. I am not invested in the story because if it is temporary it will probably be gone by labor day with Victor back at the office. If it is permanent, I feel Y&R has bigger problems in the future because at his worst,… Read more »
Ali, you threw out the question to the Chatters over what direction we prefer to see Kyle and Lola as a couple go. I think that Kyle and Lola were meant to be the star-crossed, young lovers we are suppose to root for. One thing that seems to be missing on “The Young and the Restless” is romance, particularly youthful romance and Kyle and Lola were meant to fulfill that vacuum on the show. As a result, despite whatever obstacles this couple may confront, I think eventually they will get married and we as viewers will be assuaged into perceiving… Read more »
I know I am late with my response but I think my best friend would either by Traci or Michael!
