Billy’s alter-ego story is bordering on horror-flick ridiculousness. I have been expecting him to accidentally cause tragedy which would give him empathy for Adam’s ACCIDENTALLY having caused Delia’s death (albeit bad choice in covering it up). Adam’s character needs more layers beyond a one-dimensional villian. The actors who play Adam and Billy are both amazing, even with the stupid material they currently have to make believable. Kyle and Lola are constantly mooning over each other with beaming and dopey gazing. And funny fact though. Here in Europe we also are having a heat wave . It’s so coincidental and mutual and so I can relate watching people of CG blowing eachother or just chilliaxing haha.
This episode was pretty peaceful and I know I probably use that word too much or its just cheesy but.. . I liked that reunion with Nick and Christian and then Chealsea arriving with Connor with pizza and the video game playing by the boys. I t was just so sweet and peaceful. Loved it. Cjloe and Kevin were so nice too. And poor Billy… Gosh

I know I am posting a lot of comments this week. lol. I am really enjoying the show. Ali, did you notice the shot of the silverware on the table at Kyle and Lola’s place? I don’t think it was a coincidence. It seems Y&R went out of their way to show us the real deal! We even heard a slight clinging of the cutlery.
Abby’s signature drinks looked delicious. Y&R should tell the viewers what is in them so that we may make them at home. We can enjoy drinking them while watching the show!

I have to admit I liked seeing Nick and Chelsea back together and enjoyed their steamy love scene! Yeah Nick and Chelsea! I am looking forward to their relationship.
Great to see Chloe and Bella out of hiding and Michael being the hero. Love seeing all the old characters coming back to the show. There is a rumor I saw on Facebook that Stitch may come back.
Ooh! I really like Sean Carrigan. I’d be up for seeing him back on Y&R… Maybe as a bad boy this time!

On the Adam switching the paternity results I see it like a mother thinking about giving her baby up for adoption because she thinks the child will have a better life with someone else. Then the mother changes her mind after nurturing and a feeling her baby move and grow and realizing that she loves that baby and can give it a good life because she loves it. Excellent analogy! I totally believe Adam switched the paternity test results with the good intention of giving his son the best life possible. But, Adam’s good intention doesn’t change the fact that he helped create the mess we’re in now. Likewise, Nick’s good intention of raising Christian doesn’t change the fact that he’s not the biological father. Both guys have a legitimate point of view. They just have to find a common ground and work together to do what’s best for the child… which, I think, means Christian having a meaningful relationship with both Dads.
I have to say I am really enjoying seeing Devon and Elena being happy together. I think they are adorable. I know chatters have been complaining that they are boring and need some drama but I disagree. They are just getting to know each other at a deeper level and have just recently progressed to living together as a couple. Let them be happy for a while. We are always saying we want to see more stable couples, so why not Devon and Elena? Devon has been through so much and deserves some peace and happiness. It is becoming apparent… Read more »
Appreciate your point, but still think Elana is boring. There is nothing wrong with the actress, I don’t know why I think it doesn’t work. Maybe it’s in the writing that brought them together?
I liked seeing Lola and Kyle watching baseball together. I was pleasantly surprised as I have thought it would be a nice change to see the characters watching sporting events every now and then, as it is realistic. Rich people would probably have V.I. P seaonal passes to sporting events. Just having the characters gather at someone’s place to watch a game and cheer a team on would be fun. It makes the characters more relatable and brings them closer together. I would love to see Nick and Adam sitting in the blea hers watching a game together one day.… Read more »

I didn’t even realize the Chancellor estate had a lake and a boat house. Is it new? Or have we seen it before?
Finally, my territory! I’ll take over: I don’t know that that place has a lake(!), but the Chancellor “boathouse”, a shack not seen, heard from or mentioned since 1975 is the illicit location where Phillip took Jill, Brenda Dickson, on a windy stormy night, for their one night of passion and the occassion of the conception of Phillip Chancellor 1V! If I’m not mistaken, Katherine watched the whole thing from it’s glass paned port hole window! Or did I make that up? (Maybe not a port hole. Anyone see a port hole Friday?) I think it is the Chancellor boathouse and it was the same one Hiallry was held in
Wisconsin borders on Lake Michigan and we know that Genoa City must lie near Lake Michigan because JT managed to escape his entombment by “white water rafting” down the drainage system to the lake.
Maybe the Chancellor boathouse lies near the Jaboat. Billy could devise an escape plan from Chloe’s incessant sermons no how he must not kill Adam by swimming over to the Jaboat.
With Billy (continuing to) psychotically hate Adam over the death of Delia, it would have to be the entitlement of Adam not having come forth, over the run down itself as that was but an accident with Billy more responsible for the turn of events than Adam. But is there any Y&R news any older than this??? I read the reason we are revisiting this dead and buried storyline is because it was Josh Griffith’s in the beginning, and he exited the show with other writers playing it out and he now wants to finish it, HIS way. Billy has developed Gum chewing Billy as his Kill Adam persona. He feels guilty that he couldn’t be there to save Delia, as well as Adam actually killing her then keeping it a secret for so long. Adam coming back just made everything worse for Billy
We’re going to have to wait until the week of 9/16 to find out about these “discrepancies” in Katherine’s will? UGH. That’s over 2 weeks away. That’s too long!!!
Noted that & though it was strange the way Y&R threw out that long in the future date to get back to the Chancellor will. Soaps are a place where you can commit a henious gum chewing crime and be tried and convicted, on your way to state prison two weeks later… Let’s get a move on with this true intriging cliff hanger.. Maybe Devon will be able to take in laundry to pay the bills…
