I was going to write that with Y&R / Josh Griffith so eager to please, Adam’s new drug storyline bringing Victor to the brink of death isn’t going to win them any popularity contests. Now I am considering a phenomenon I have seen before: Soon we may randomly hear how Y&R has soared to an all time high in the ratings with it’s Adam poisioning Victor story with fans tuning in like mag-pies to make sure that their fan favorite, Eric Braden, survives to come out on top! That is certainly a possibility! After all these years, Y&R knows that Victor Newman is still a ratings draw, whether or not the new Adam is.

I voted yes. When y’all first brought it up, I didn’t completely dismiss the idea but I wasn’t sure that was the case at the time. Now that the Zoe thing was a flop, there has to be something deeper. What I think happened is a drunk Theo kissed a drunk Kyle in the heat of the moment and Kyle rejected him. Theo played it off and they agreed to never speak of it. First some Y&R trivia that I came across about Michael Mealor (Kyle) when searching if he is gay (he’s not). He was born on February 29th, 1992, so he is a leap year baby, and grew up watching Y&R. Lachlan Buchanan, who played Kyle prior to Kyle, is gay in real life, and when he was on a lot of fans speculated and thought that they should make Kyle gay, and many thought that might be the story when Michael Mealor was cast. Is Theo in love with Kyle? Ummm is a fish wet? YES! I think now that Zoe has the drugs to make you (in my best Austin Powers voice) “Horny Baby” that Theo also knows how to score the drug too! I had to vote no in the poll. If Theo had a secret attraction to Kyle they have not given the viewers any clue who that in my opinion. He is acting petty and jealous but I have not Noticed any longing glances in Kyle’s direction that would lead me to believe he is more than a jealous friend.
