Does anyone else wish that Y&R would have given Amanda Sinclair an accent? Ok…she has bangs…but it’s just Hilary with bangs. I just wish there were a bit more contrasting features between the two characters and I think an accent would have been perfect!
But she would have to keep it up! O.K., maybe no problem! How about that Freddie guy who is Norman Bates in Netflix’s PSYCHO. And THE GOOD DOCTOR? In real life he speaks with a low key Brittish accent and it is unexpected jarring! Enjoy your Saturday!
Exactly, she would have to keep it up!! I thought of that too but hey if it was easy enough for it to roll off her tongue then why not?! That’s what acting is all about. 😉
Y&R doesn’t explain how Adam approached the pharmacist in the first place. We know he paid her off for making the pills of course, as we saw this exchange in the park. What I don’t understand is how Adam had the luck of finding a professional such as a pharmacist, a complete stranger, who was willing to take the risk of ruining their career and going to prison for a very long time. And with one episode and a Hilary lookalike, Devon’s storyline just got interesting.
Phyllis needs to call Daniel and tell him Victor has died. Victor is Daniel’s grandfather also, not just Summer’s. too Phyllis forgot, she is too busy trying to comfort everyone else. Daniel will be furious with her. On that note, it would be great to have Daniel come back to the show. Not sure what his story line would be though, but just a thought.
Oooops…my mistake! I am forgetting that Daniel is not related to Victor, as Danny Romalotti is his father. I don’t know who Daniel’s grandfather is on his dad’s side , as I have no idea who Danny Romalotti’s father is. Maybe that is a good trivia question. I know who Danny’s father is? Was it ever revealed on the show?
I loved Sharon’s sparkly white jacket with the white shirt underneath. Not sure what other viewers thought? Why was Sharon dressed so bedazzling just to go to the coffee house? lol. I am just kidding, I know all the characters are always dressed well, but it seemed a little over dressed to me for daytime I think. I thought it looked more like evening wear. I loved it though. When Adam came into the coffee house all dressed in black I realized this was done to show the contrast of the character’s colours. It looked good in my opinion.
I totally forgot about Mitchell Sherman, Katherine’s lawyer. Good to see him in the flashback as well as a young Nick and Sharon flashback we saw. I enjoy when Y&R gives us those. They are fun to watch!

It didn’t make sense when Nick asked Phyllis how she knew that Victor was sick. Phyllis responded by telling him she must have heard it somewhere. Nick then said that only family knew and that she must have heard it from Adam. Why would Nick jump to that conclusion when Summer is Phyllis’s daughter? It would be very likely that Summer would reveal to her mother that her grandfather was ill. That being said, why wouldn’t Phyllis think to tell Nick it was her daughter who told her this information instead of being all nervous while trying to cover up… Read more »
Who are Victoria’s friends that Nick mentioned he called when he was trying to locate her to tell her about her father’s passing? Just wondering, as we never see or hear about any of them.
I hope Victor will be lurking in the shadows at his own funeral. Also hope he has a fake video will and assigns someone out of left field as the new CEO of Newman Enterprises
The Arizona trip has stirred up some chat controversy – or non controversy. The Friday Y&R brought up some fun facts I had forgotten in the equation. Like how in Jack planning his odyssey he went to the trouble of appointing Kyle to head Jabot in his absence, etc. Today Kyle saw Jack back at the office after being gone 2 days, with Jack proud of the work Kyle had done, saying thanks to the internet he was able to check in with Jabot “from time to time”. Huh?
I wish Lily Ashby was in town so I could see her reaction when she bumps into New Hilary at Crimson Lights!
I don’t think Nikki or the kids are in on Victors fake death but I do think that Nate is. He seemed sketchy and uncomfortable and Devon was taking that for sadness over losing a close patient but I think it was nervousness over keeping a secret. He’s typically pretty honest and genuine and keeping this big of a secret would make him uncomfortable and put him on edge.
For sure Nate is the biggest culprit. Refresh my memory. Didn’t he just do something sneeky just like this a short while ago? Goodbye medical license.
Is it possible that Kyle and Theo are….wait for it….BROTHERS? Not Jacks son. But Diane Jenkins, Kyles dead mother? Could that explain Theo’s jealous obsession with Kyle?
On Fridays I catch up on the week of the show. I’m watching Monday’s show now. I actually feel bad for Adam. I usually don’t and I’m pretty sure this is exactly what Victor wants for Adam right now. But I do actually feel bad for him. Nick treating him like that was really harsh and dealing with his own regrets and struggles around it actually softened him for me for the first time. We’ll see how long it lasts.
It was amusing when Chloe said to Billy that Adam is not really the forgiving type. Adam let her off the hook for shooting him, it is Billy and Chloe who are not the forgiving type.
You have to think about this for a second, but so true.
