LOL! Ali! With you saying there be YEARS, YEARS, YEARS of an Devon/Amanda/Elena triangle. I been saying that for months! Ha! As it should be, I agree.
Is this Neil/Dru/Olivia/Malcolm 2.0 with Nate in the mix?
Oh I was just thinking it would be a lot more interesting if Tessa’s ex was the guy Victoria hooked up with in Vegas instead of Tanner (a character we had never heard or seen till now). He could date the ladies of GC in various age groups. Also YR should have a character who is Asian. I know its a random thought.
Best of 2019: Neil’s 4 part tribute. It was very sad because it was real but it was so well done by the writers, producers & actors. I cry each time I watch it. Worst of 2019: Oh which do I choose. I’ll say the break up of Lilly & Cane & the lame way Cane was written out without a proper goodbye. He is so loyal to the show after all these yrs. Runners up include JT’s murder, Dina’s Alzheimers, those 2 jewel thief ditzes, Mia & Ana leaving the show. BTW has anyone noticed how the daily cliffhangers… Read more »
My favorite storyline was Adam returning from the dead
My least favorite storyline was Victor’s faked death
My dad is not a hard core Y&R fan like we all are but will tune in here and there while my mom is watching. Here is his comments he mentioned:
He is not the biggest fan of Chelsea back with Adam. Something doesn’t seem right about them together.
Also he wants more Victor!! “Where is Victor Newman” he says.
I think he might be getting more hooked on the show :p lol
My niece has never seen Y&R. It was on over the holidays – with the sound off, at first she commented she thought Chelsea might be Adam’s mother.
I loved when Victor broke down Chelsea’s situation to Adam and said “does she not like to pay rent?” I was cracking up.
This is worse than Adam’s dream. Gosh Chelsea, i hate to say this but, what a floozy. Chelsea is just hopping from man to man like hop scotch. I’m kind of grossed out. Chelsea and Adam really do deserve each other.
I am hoping for the return of Daniel to hookup with Mariah. She had a lot of chemistry with Michael Graziadei for his short visit a couple of years ago, and pairing them brings tons of conflict, with His role in Cassie’s death, and Sharon and Phyllis animosity..
Ooooh I like it. I did like Daniel when he was on & dating Lilly. I feel like there are a lot of characters in that age group though. We need some old ppl like around Jack, Jill, Nikki & Victor’s ages. Ones that they aren’t related to each other so Jack & Jill can started dating ppl. I’d like Gloria, Graham & Simon Black back!
Wig is off, hair color is darker, just wait till Amanda lets those curls fly. Devon will be floored.
And nobody has seem to mention it on the show…I mean its a noticeable difference.
Well Chelsea suffering from lovesick blues didn’t last long. Perhaps a week at most? She certainly quashed Ali’s hope that her transformation into Adam’s current love interest would be a gradual process.
Yup she got over Nick real quick. And Calvin who? Ha ha. New man same old Chelsea!
It’s weird Conner never mentions Calvin. I would like his dark side to come from Calvin.
Ali, you had asked if we would mind if your year end chat came out in February. I can’t speak for everyone, but I would not mind at all. It would still be enjoyable and appreciated to hear at that time. I also wanted to wish you and all the chatters a Happy New Year as I have not yet done so.
Yearend/Yearbeginning special episode would be very much welcomed! I listened to the 2018 Affair several times, most recently just last week. So I vote, yes please. Oh, and audio only is fine.
I also agree Ali. An end of year podcast would be great doesn’t even have to be long, and it doesn’t matter if it’s in FEB.
If you make it, I’ll wait for it! Ali your chatters are easy to please! You know we are loyal. Hope you talk fashion in the yr recap as well.
Did anyone notice Phyllis’s right hand when she was talking to Nick at Society? It was covered in orange makeup that was used to make her skin look darker and tanned to match her face. You could see it all over hand when she placed her hand on her face. It was very noticeable as you could see white on her hands and wrists where the make up didn’t blend. I have never seen anything like that on the show, as the characters always look so flawless.
Oh I saw that instantly. Very noticeable, and kind of awkward, because I couldn’t stop starring at the side of Phyllis’ hand.
YES YES YES! It looked like a spray tan accident.
I wish Y&R would show the activities the characters talk about themselves or the kids doing on the show more often. For example, it would have been a nice touch to actually see Christian’s hot chocolate stand that he set up to raise money for his basketball team. Not only would it give us something different to see, but I feel it would help us to grow closer to the characters while giving us the sense that these are real people who do real life things.
Soapbox news: Lilly is back for a brief stint…now if only Cane was back too! Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) has a memoir coming out this fall. I’d rather see someone else not Sharon with the cancer s/l. She is just getting in a good place. How about a man with breast cancer? On A Million Little Piece (ABC) a guy had breast cancer. Or a Y&R man could get testicular cancer & it would challenge how he felt as a man. I think that could be a story. If Sharon has breast cancer they could write it as during a… Read more »
We had the testicular cancer with Michael a few years ago, with him pushing Lauren toward Cane, and getting her to sign divorce papers, I think without telling her of
his diagnosis: i think last we heard was he was in remission.
I thought Ali said it was prostate cancer? I don’t know since I wasn’t watching at the time

I am sorry I am late in getting back to you but this is just to let everybody know that they have no reason to worry about me, I am doing very well and I am not suffering through any undue hardship; I have more than enough food and shelter and the only deprivation we have had to endure was a single day without water and electricity.
