WOW is all I can say. That end-of-marriage scene in the kitchen between Kyle and Lola was easily the most intensely real and emotional I have ever seen on any soap. WOW.
It just occurred to me that in talking about all of the love and support that Sharon is getting, where is her mom Doris? Did I miss that she passed or are the writers forgetting about her?
Hey Ali I still can’t get my newsletter… I subscribe I try to verify I checked my junk mail and I can’t get it! Is there anyway you could just send it to me at my email without me having to verify or something
Hey Ali, did you open your virtual Christmas present I sent you? You didn’t mention it in the chat or in the group so I wasn’t sure. When you feel sad about Sharon & need cheering up you’ll want to check it (him) out…trust me!
Ali, I am a few weeks behind on your podcasts, but I recently heard you wonder if the chatters liked your screen cap captions. I love them! I think they are hilarious and I look forward to reading them every week. Please don’t stop doing them!
I am so proud of Victoria telling Billy that he needs to get help or she doesn’t think they will make it. For her to stand up for herself! Do not put up with this behaviour anymore.
I disagree. I felt that Victoria was not hearing Billy. The man told her he was fine and there is nothing to fix, why can’t that be the truth and she love and support him.
Chloe wants Bella to marry Adam’s son? Kind of an immature comment anyway, not something I would have said or joked about with my daughter at that age.
It doesn’t feel like Kyle is co-CEO, maybe Jr. CEO. Jack saying he chose the perfect two to take this trip, which could be another comment, made me feel that way.
I was shocked to see Fen today. It reminded me of a comment I meant to make last week. Be still, Ali’s heart, Ronan’s name was mentioned.
I thought it was funny when Victor said Nikki is known throughout the world.
I feel like that single game of poker, multiple lies, and now denial, do make Billy off track. Many well adjusted people use therapy, plus how do you get prescriptions without them?
Just made bagels from scratch…but since there’s no way to share with charters, here’s something else to chew on. Ripley Turner, Amanda’s ex will be here before we know it, Feb. 5. Y&R also cast a new Society employee named Lindsey, she’s supposed to show up Jan. 29. People are speculating she’s taking Tessa’s spot at the restaurant. SANDRA, in response to one of your comments last week, I just read an interview with Josh Griffith who says the point of Sharon’s cancer storyline is to show the ups & downs in a new relationship and how Rey will stand completely behind Sharon. But we have already figured this out… He continues that rather then be competitors Rey & Nick will forge a bond of friendship as they work together to be there for Sharon. Griffith knew Sharon Case would get involved in this and hit the storyline out of the park which he believes she has done.… Read more »

Gary, glad you posted this info. I’m glad to hear Rey and Nick will form a friendship, rather than a rivalry, whilst on team Sharon. Why not, men need men friends, and Y&R generally needs more friends on the show.
I thought for sure that Nick and Sharon would end up back together when she asked Rey to leave so she could cry and then opened the door for Nick without barely wiping her eyes. Rey wants to do everything he can to help but doesn’t really know how to do it. I would love to see Rey and Sharon get through this together and strengthen their relationship. They are so much better for each other than Sharon and Nick!
Sandra, Lindsey is the new bartender at Society that Mariah apparently start to confide in, so she maybe taking more than just Tessa’s spot at the restaurant. Also the actor, Christian Keyes, casted to play Amanda’s ex, is beyond fine, will be some good eye candy for the show. By the way I am so ready for these two stories to play out.
Oh me too! I did see the actor cast as Amanda’s ex, he’s gorgeous.
“She’s missing.” I think the she Chance is referring to is Riza. It is about time another sex siren like Jesse begins to burn up the scene.

Cane’s physical therapist when he injured his knee playing basketball with Charlie who was then ten years old. She popped in for just a couple of days but you could not help but notice her sensational figure. That fact was even more surprising when you realized that it was none other than Lily who hired her and seemed blissfully unaware of what kind of forbidden fruit she was waving right under Cane’s nose.
Chloe is right. Chelsea went from Calvin to Nick to Adam as if it was nothing.
Yep, and only Adam made sense, but they ruined it with the others. I have a friend who did the same thing, although over years, not months, and it was still jarring.
Boy, Phyllis is really airing out the “puppies” now.
