I’d like a mix of old & new. If they use 5 new episodes a week we will run out real fast. The old episodes should be more than 5 yrs old (unless its Cane & Lilly happy moments!) ; ) Lately, when they pre-empt the show the episodes aired are so new I still remember them & aren’t worth watching again. Plus I’d love to see clips like the ones shown during Victor’s anniversary. Now more than ever we need escape tv while staying safe indoors. I can’t even go to the grocery store cuz I’m immune compromised. Watching… Read more »
I haven’t been up here for a while because lately I’ve been binging the episodes over the weekend and am too late to comment for the week.
About the poll, I think we should just get new episodes now and show classics later. I hope and pray this will be over soon and everyone gets well and we can get back to normal.
Greg Rikaart has the coronavirus so perhaps Y&R is doing the right thing shutting down production temporarily.
Air all now then run a vintage storyline
– Nikki and Victor meeting for the first time
– Sharon and Nick meeting for the first time
– Catherine Chancellor and Jill fighting (physically – good old fashioned slapstick)
– Lauren being stalked by Shawn.
Ooh! I would love to see Katherine!
I like your ideas! I haven’t seen any of those ones! I will also add Cane & Lilly scenes because I love them as a couple & we know Ali needs some Cane lovin! Oh how bout scenes with Neil, Malcolm & Dru! Shemar Moore is very sexy ha ha. I wouldn’t mind seeing John, Dina & more Traci too. Bloopers & behinds the scenes interviews would be exciting & unique especially right now. I feel like Y&R is too old school in social media.
they should air episodes till they run out
I’m home during the day on a regular basis and keep the radio on for company. Radio and TV are so stressful right now! Ali, I listened to your podcast from last week twice because I needed something positive to listen to! And I’ve been SO looking forward to your podcast for this week dropping. I think Y&R should air what new episodes they have and then air reruns, because we need them right now. I need the escape. Emergency situations must be at least part of the reason why they keep a month’s worth of shows in the can,… Read more »
They could follow Hallmark’s lead and play all of the Christmas episodes or air any other of the way back reruns and I would be okay with that. As long as there is something y&r airing I will be tuned in.
Yes, I would like to see the episodes that have been filmed air. I enjoy breaking up my day with escape into my soap. I also think it would be great if Y&R would have each actor tape an interview at home to supplement each week. This way Y & R could air 4 episodes not 5. The interviews could consist of: describe a scene which was the fun to film, a scene which was emotional to film, what you like about the stories your characters portrays currently and what you wish for new stories. Y & R could edit… Read more »
Great idea! If they did this one day a week and aired a repeat episode one day week this would make the new episodes last for awhile. They need to do whatever is necessary to keep the show airing, we need the escape during this trying time!
I thought Theos smile after talking to Lola was a little suspicious! I hope I read that wrong because I would love to see Theo in a relationship that is committed. I think a little pillow talk might give us some insight into this character. I really like Theo (he was in my top three sexiest men on the show) I for one want to see him with more depth and insight.
I think Y&R should continue new episodes as long as they can then show repeats and special episodes. We need a distraction from the real world
Show new episodes now because we have no idea when this epidemic will end.
