Yes, me too. Phyllis and Nikki both are going to be supportive and Victoria too. Sharon is going to need support may be headed for a mastectomy ,will see if Y&R goes that far with the storyline
We are going to miss daily Y&R episodes. I haven’t heard what they will air during that hour. Probably not the “start from the beginning” episodes we would all appreciate. In their absence, I have looked online for stories about Y&R. On wikipedia – “The Young and the Restless storylines” tells in text about the groups, families, and stories.
At soaps.sheknows.com ( don’t know how I found this) – There are recaps for about every 10-15 years. Also good reading.
Old school here – I printed the text, so I could sit outside and read it.
The last I read Y&R will have new shows at the beginning of the week and Thursday and Friday classic episodes . Not sure how long new episodes will last

1- I think Jared might be the boy Faith was talking about when she first came home from school. Everybody seems to think he is younger. Sure, he might not be attending boarding school, but he could be on scholarship or maintenance?
2-Maybe Hillary and (twin) Amanda are related to Drucilla. How about that, Lilly?

Did anyone know that Elizabeth Hendrickson was pregnant in real life? I did not know that until I saw the news facebook the other day. She had a baby girl on March 28. Maybe that is why Y&R decided to write this pregnancy for her character. They liked the idea of Chloe being pregnant as well, but chose to have her character be pregnant with twins.
Yes & I was thinking it must have been scary for her to learn that her co-star Greg Rikkard was sick with COVID-19 in the final days of her pregnancy. But thankfully everything was fine. Baby name is Josephine, if I remember correctly?
I did not know there was a real baby in there til a couple of weeks ago. There is the assumption that Chloe became pregnant because her portrayer was, but Chloe is rarely on and there would certainly be no problem covering up her belly. Not that that is exactly the point you were making… A few famous women just got pregnant. Meghan McCain is pregnant and my phone beeped me with the emergency news that Katy Perry is having a baby. Yes, tough time for expectant parents—some opting for home births amid all this chaos. Life is not normal for so many people these days. Everything is more difficult it seems.

I look forward to the newly potential budding romance of Nate and Amanda. I think the slow build up of the two characters getting to the point of finally going out on a date after many months of talking and smiling at each other has made me want to see them get together. I know Ali you have been waiting for Amanda to get with Devon, but I feel that we have already seen these two together even though Amanda was Hilary at the time. I read on Twitter that the baby shown at the wedding was Victoria??? I totally forgot that history!!!
Yes, it was. She’s a baby here, but that tot grows up to be the prettiest little girl looking just like Tabitha Stevens from Bewitched. Victoria was a little blonde girl for years, but what I don’t remember and it surprised me, apparently she was born out of wedlock (gasp) to N&V. A little bit of a scandal for it’s time?
I was watching then and my memory of the story is not the greatest, but Nikki actually tried to pass Victoria off as the child of another man, Kevin Bancroft. I don’t remember if Victor knew that Victoria was his child at the time or even why Nikki did that, maybe because she thought Victor would not marry her because she did not have the best reputation? Nikki was pregnant when she married Kevin, because I remember the minister saying he wanted to perform the christening!
Oh – blonde uppercrust Kevin Bancroft. Did he wear an ascot? Good catch, but she didn’t love him. An arranged coupling. That sounds kind of right! Good memory!

Katherine is so young and vital! Baby-faced Paul again! 1980s hair was very, very bad. And big. Cricket! Large, thick glasses means you are a baddie. Sudden close-up camera work is jarring. Nikki is so very young and free of the back pain she has now. I’m glad she dropped that baby talk voice she used back then. Very optimistic promises made at that wedding—but we know the future!
Yes! Melody Thomas used baby talk to snare Victor into her web, and only after she roped in the billionaire did she return to her truck driver voice. Katherine is so “young and vital” here because she is fresh off her face-lift, making her bebut back into society at this grand affair! People are noticing! In a good way! Ashley would never go on to marry her fiancé date Eric Garrison after learning that her mother, Dina Abbott Mergeron had had a romance with him herself. Off screen, in Paris, I believe…
What kind of weirdo likes 24/7 baby talk???? The 1980s male writers must have been real “winners”.
It was nice to see the original Chris Brooks and the Foster mother (did you know she is still alive?). I did not know she was still on the show in 1984.
While Sharon has a degree to counsel the residents of Genoa City it turns out that apparently Esther is a trained alcohol abuse counselor. I am guessing that Ester got this training to help Katherine Chancellor with her addiction while she was working for her. I am not sure if anyone has ever seen Esther in action with Mrs. C or anyone else. I definitely do not recall ever seeing Esther counselling anyone, but I know that I would like to. How about an exposé of Esther’s secret night life as a hot to trot, golden age cougar? I can only imagine what the audience reaction will be seeing her in sexy lingerie cuddling with her latest conquest.
I would love to see Esther going out at night, going on dates and living a double life. She mentioned she was now on a dating website and we have not had any follow up on that. It would be interesting if Esther met up with the wrong guy as I had predicted that Esther would meet a stalker. Maybe just a bad guy who uses her in some way for his own personal gain. Will we ever see Esther in a sexy scene wearing lingerie! That would be something to watch.
Chance finally traps Colin and Cane is nowhere to be found? What is the latest news with him? Will he finally reach Genoa City in time to catch Lily in her love embrace with Billy? I can only imagine the sight: Billy and Lily, stripped down to their underwear, kissing and groping each other in the throes of passion on top of Lily’s office table, when, out of the blue, Cane barges in through the door and is shocked to find out how eager Lily is to replicate their own office room lovemaking with Billy. Thank-you Ali for the backstory of how Adam got his name. It was neat to learn that as I never knew that Adam’s name came from his mother’s last name Adams. With that being said, I know you have mentioned you are always up for any suggestions for new games or ideas for the website. I know you are very busy , so I understand if you are not able to do so. I wrote down Phyllis’s phone number ( 262) 172-0423 ) and tried to call her number just to see what would happen as I was surprised it was not a 555 number that is always used for television and movies. Of course it is not in service. I had to try out of curiosity.
