I have been enjoying the classic episodes especially because Jeanne Cooper is in them. But more often than not it’s interrupted by Corona Virus reports. Haven’t seen all of them on CBS Access but some yes. So I record them just in case they aren’t interrupted

I agree with Ali about adding some background info. New and older viewers need some context to understand what they are seeing. It would be helpful if the actor who is introducing the episode gave us a quick “catch up”.
I agree , a quick catch up would help. Everyone looks so young and fresh, great to see people that are gone or even playing on different soaps now like Heather Tom who played Victoria as a young vixen .

I voted yes. I wasn’t sure if my attention would be captured by characters I’m not familiar with. What surprises me is the writing. It is so tight. All the dialogue pushes the plot forward. In current time, I don’t always sense things happen for a reason.

Victoria vs Victoria: I remember the casting change. I thought Heather Tom was so good. At the time Heather Tom moved from Y&R to B&B, was the same time Ameiia Henlie started Y&R as Victoria. I thought the actresses should have switched. Heather looks enough like Melody to be her daughter – Victoria and Nicki. And Amelia looks similar to the actresses who play Brook and Donna Logan on B&B. That worked better for me-visually.
(But I am still pining for Michael Muhney in these delicious Adam scenes.)
Totally agree, Michael was my favorite Adam . He was perfect as Adam

Absolutely!! I am really psyched. My late Mom and my daughters and I never missed an episode and relished the times we could watch together during holiday and summer visits! It brings me back to feelings of cozy, simpler times. Katherine was the heart and soul of Y&R. So bring ‘em on
