HERE not hear. Rats!
Ali, I liked your memory. And remember, the Chancellor Christmas tree is always gold (or is it silver?), never green. There are many modern memories that are great like the IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE tour de force episodes featuring Nikki, (Victor?), most notably Billy, but for me, I have to go back to the very beginning. I voice mailed this in last year & hear it is again: In Y&R’s first years there were the Brooks, Foster, and Chancellor families. With that being said my favourite Y&R Christmas memory was when Billy visited Delia at Christmas in the hospital when she was sick dressed as Santa, that father daughter moment melted my heart. 🙂 P.S Merry Christmas to everyone……
Hey Ali! I don’t have a particular memory that stands out to me, but when Summer had her birthday celebration at the Underground I realized that her birthday was around Christmastime and I remember when she was born. Phyllis gave birth to her while stuck in an elevator during a snowstorm at Newman while Jack delivered Summer so when they mentioned Summer’s birthday that came to my mind.
I think of little Delia I’m so sad they killed her off, I miss her. 🙁
When I think of Y&R Christmas, I instantly picture the Chancellor living room dressed to the nines! Katherine’s ornate Christmas tree is adorned with the finest ornaments, and every inch of space in the mansion is glistening with holiday cheer. The smell of Esther’s homemade feast fills the air, and Katherine, surrounded by loved ones, stands front and center in a sequin dress. She raises her bejeweled hand to give a toast, share a bit of wisdom… and theme song swells in the background. 🙂
Merry Christmas, everyone!
