Bring back all Rosales’, including the new baby, age 7.
Also about Mia: I’d love to see Nikki befriend her and develop a relationship like Nikki had with Mrs. C. Nikki needs a friend.
I would love for Y & R to bring back Mia. Mia was a vibrant and conniving character. She lit up the screen. They could pair her with Jack and watch the fireworks explode.
I hope the current writers have been watching the classic episodes. While I understand they can’t necessarily bring old characters back, they can do such a great ob connecting new/current characters with their history. For example, given that Christine and Nina were besties, you’d think Christine would have a special bond with Chance. Same thing with Lily and Nate – they grew up together! And I’d love for Jack and Jill to get together but Jill start to get resentful remembering how AWFUL Jack had been to her over the years! On a different note, I hope that rumor about… Read more »
I would love some changes. Top of my list is give Traci Abott a love interest, pronto. She has been a minor character for too long. Give Beth Maitland the material and she’s deliver another Emmy performance.
This is what I want from Y&R when they resume filming:
I want to fall in love,
I want to laugh,
I want to be so engrossed in a storyline, that I forget the world for 37 mins. each day.
I know they can do it, but will they.
I said some of this last week – but as it is the poll question for this week, I will comment. I voted to mostly start over. Use the characters we have – bring back some we have missed, and just create stories. They don’t have to mesh with what was going on, and they don’t even need to be completely believable. I voted the show needs a complete overhaul not really because of the story lines but because of the sets. As I have mentioned before, I really enjoy the old episodes because of the large sets and I love seeing the characters in their big homes and at work. That is what I would want to see when the new episodes resume. I know that budget is something that the show may not have control over and therefore cannot change how the show is done. I loved the sets of old as well, especially the ones showing their homes. I became hooked on the (Stories) as we called them back in the day, because they really use to focus more on the family dynamics and I would like to see more of that, again.
It seems based on a few leaks from behind the scenes the show will be tweaked. Its rumored that due to the pandemic and required social distancing, in order for the show to have any sort of romantic interaction, they are trying to find a way to use real life partners of the actors, hence Sharon and Adam may become a couple, Tessa with Fen and of course now Devon and Elena stays together but I don’t see how they can put Mariah with Noah(they are currently playing sister and brother). I voted A lot. The show, The Young and the Restless need a complete overhaul. Equal airtime for all the characters. But especially the black characters, For example. Devon, Elena, Amanda, Nate and Lily need their own storylines and not just supporting characters on the show.
