Did you Catherine kiss Neil on the lips when he and Dru were leaving?

I AM JUST A WELL OF INFORMATION WITH TIME ON MY HANDS: Speaking of Gloria, Zoperxplex, as she was perfect portraying Scarlett, Vivien Leigh, Judith Chapman will now take on playing Nancy Regan in a vehicle I’m not sure of. Although two very different famous women, just as I saw Judith working up her beautiful face & profile to look a lot like Vivien, I can just as easily see her scrunching it up to be the former first lady. I always said Judith Chapman was a multi-facated leading lady!

Something I noticed from the other day was Jack, Terry Lester, tweaking teen queen Cricket Blair’s nose, saying: ” the whole country is falling in love with that sweet little face of yours…” Uh-Oh. Y&R, you are just asking for trouble with that line for the audience to react to. Save yourself, Bill Bell, save your daughter and CUT! This is a reference to Terry Lester’s objections to Bill Bell allowing his child to “take over the show” for a certain period of time to the point of where he supposedly quit his role over it. I understand his feelings,… Read more »

Phyllis’ hair looked great on the tainted cream episode! It wasn’t pin straight covering her face like a curtain like usual. I get bored of the same hairstyle on the same character. Phyllis “I needed to reinvent myself. This was my concept. MY project” oh where have I heard that lately….just this year about The Grand Phoenix.

BRENDA DEBUT: Just saw the introductory clip of Jill from yesterday that got pre-empted in CA. I was thinking to myself, “Brenda must have been PISSED to first appear in that baggy housecoat from her mothers closet!” Now I have discovered a tweet from the actress which chimes in: “They put me in that baggy blue robe that made me look 300 pounds when I have a perfect body! My face looked good though.” Perfect, not modest Brenda quote. Grade: A. In an earlier tweet someone asked of her if she would be appearing in the Chancellor mausoleum tomorrow? Brenda… Read more »

What I forgot to observe about Brenda’s fabric for days doughty blue robe is that in episode #2, her first appearence on the show, she had absolutely no power to stop it! As we move about in life, many mis-fortunes befall us.

Sorry to keep popping up and boring people, but i become obsessed by certain topics. Brenda’s tweet about hating what she was forced to wear in episode #2 has her calling it “a clown robe”. Again. sorry, but to me this is news.

Possible sage advice. There is a line that goes, “Never apologise for anything.” Someone we know very well lives by this theory of not showing “weakness”.
By the way, if you’ve got the time, somebody elsewhere posted that Cricket could not have signed that contract because she is 16 yrs old. That’s not true because she told us she is about to have her 18th birthday, but presently she’s 17.

I am sure Gary that Jack said she would be turning 16, which is the age you can get your driver’s license. ( I am not sure if it is in U.S) That was why he bought her the car.

It seems to me Brenda Dickson was very much like her character in real life. A snooty woman, but lovable.

Liz Foster is put in the tricky position of being Katherine Chancellor’s chief supporter of something she probably doesn’t believe in like the shallowness of a face lift to try and turn back the hands of time in looking younger. Here, Liz herself looks pretty uptown out of her house dress with hair & make-up for once. One day in the distant future, Stu Brooks will fall for her, but Jill will set her sights on taking him away from her mother, hoping to claim Brooks for herself. Her purpose, $$$.

Ali, I heard you say that Gloria never did any time for the face cream incident, but I remember Gloria, Phyllis and Sharon all being in jail at the same time. Phyllis was there for blackmailing Brad, I thought Gloria was their for the face cream, and I have no memory of why Sharon was there. Does anyone else remember this? I know I didn’t imagine it because I distinctly remember the orange jumpsuits! Also Ali, I laughed out loud when you mentioned bone booties!!! You certainly have a way with words!

SANDRA, what Ali said. A day ot two, but please, not two weeks! I remember! I remember! (even if I don’t) I bet you we will be able to see how the beginning new scrips are going to have some relapping exposition of what was happening just before we left off, much to the consternation of Henry types who haven’t misplaced a thing. Just how ‘artful’ or awkward the dialogue reminding us of what we need to know will be should be interesting. What do you think of Eric Braden’s tweet saying Y&R is back to work but taping everything… Read more »

I know, I know. I can hear them repeating facts, and slipping information of recent happenings into casual dialogue, all in the hopes of reminding us all what we were watching pre-hiatus (can’t bring myself to use the P word). They may have scenes in Chancellor Park, (remember when Genoa Junction’s finest would sit out in the cold with hot coffee or cocoa, the heat lamp in full view). Or possibly Society has set up chic outdoor dining under stringed lights and a grapevine canopy. Maybe even the rooftop pool of the GCAC will make an appearance.

Those are great, creative opportunities. Yes, I remember when Y&R was so into Chancellor Park that they had people like Ashley with steamy cups eating out in the little Mary Poppins Jolly Holiday like eaterette in the park beside heat lamps in what I guess was the dead of winter! It would be kind of fun noticing how as the new episodes run on nobody ever manages to step inside from the great outdoors… Oh, wait. I just thought of something. Places like Chancellor Park are, as we know, currently indoor sets. Y&R is going to have to spend the… Read more »

Y&R can do it on a dime, a make believe outdoor set that is. Not to sound bougie, but GH has some really nice outdoor(ish) scenes. Of most recent memory back in May I think, there were several scenes of the young adults and then others, walking in a park and down a small hill there too. I only mention it because it seemed real, as though they really were outside. I think what matters more than the set itself, is the lighting. When they actually film outside, you can tell. It’s natural. I can’t wait to see the Y&R… Read more »

I read an article that says 3 characters are set to return! Patty Williams, Danny Romalotti and a recast Dylan MacAvoy. Wow—can this be true? They must be listening to YR Chat and reading Ali’s website. Dylan could return due to Sharon’s breast cancer? Adam and Dylan will fight over Sharon—the light and the dark? And Danny could be competition for Nick where Phyllis is concerned. Not sure what to say about Patty—except she will shake things up and Paul will need to keep an eye on Pattycakes for sure. I’m ready!

I feel Danny Romalotti has had his day. No geriatric summer rock concerts. There isn’t budget for them anyway… Also, Christine is taken.
Bring Patty on, but watch her like a hawk. I couldn’t take anymore high stakes drama from her like what she did to Dr. Emily Peterson with the Chlorox bleach.
Also, please return Dr. Peterson along with Patty.
P.S. I am someone who caused a big

That has potential! It would expand Tessa & Mariah’s world and GC connections. There will be duets (sorry Ali!). Best of all it might open the door to Danny Jr. coming back. That would be fun.

I was disappointed to see them run the episode with Lily getting an STD. It was so moralistic. An STD is no more “dirty” than COVID-19. Humans pass viruses and diseases to each other via close contact. Let’s not call it “dirty”. It discourages honest communication between partners and even delays medical treatment in some cases because of embarrassment. Dru and Neil were kind to Lily but the overall message was still that sex is dirty and dangerous. The real issue was trusting Kevin. The STD was the least of it.

I loved the Friday episode. I remember seeing it and it happened to be my introduction to Gloria. It was classic Gloria; she always wants to be the life of the party.
