Even though Monday is supposed to be a new episode, Tuesday’s episode, although new to us, was filmed before the pandemic. I read this on Soaps She Knows.

What is this business about “Sample A is excluded from paternity of Sample B” jazz? I thought Malcolm was Lily’s dad. Now Drucilla is claiming the test proved he is not. Was the test tampered with in classic Y&R fashion in order to provide a continuation of this drama; a plot device for opening the door to another character in order for that character to intervene and expose the truth? Dru lied, Malcolm is lily’s dad. She does find out eventually but I don’t remember when
Chloe is so toxic. She never faced what really happened to Delia. She blamed Adam for an accident instead of Billy for being negligent. And she’s been a psychotic criminal ever since. I can’t stand her as a character. What message is the show sending here? If a tragedy happens in your life you get to commit felonies, have no consequences and everyone should root for your happiness. Nope. None of that. Go to prison where you belong Chloe.
It really never made sense that Chloe and Chelsea would be best friends after Chloe tried to kill her husband.

Hey, I remember Jack and Adam’s close friendship very well. How is it that since Adam was found to be NOT DEAD and returned to GC, Jack has barely acknowledged Adam’s existence? Okay writers, we saw this “classic” episode with Jack speaking up for Adam. Now you need to revive the Jack/Adam relationship. Adam will need a confidant since he supposedly accidentally pushed what’s her name’s father out of a hayloft. Let’s see better, more nuanced storytelling.
Yes I think Adam and Jack should have more scenes together. They have a better relationship than he will ever have with Victor. I also found it odd that Jack didn’t make it a point to see him when he got back.
Wow! I think I saw Lauralee Bell’s mom, Lee Phillip Bell, in the GCAC restaurant. She was co-creator of the soap with her husband, Bill Bell. She had an influential tv show in Chicago which dealt with social issues. These issues gave the Bells many ideas for Y & R. How nice to have her pay for Paul and Chris’s meal as a nod to her husband.
I thought she looked familiar but I didn’t catch it was Mrs. Bell
What a breath of fresh air to see Kristoff at his acting best. Perfect way to end our week and the classics.
I thought the same thing. I wish we had the following episode when Neil says “Mommy”. Oh I bawled that day.

I didn’t see them all, but my favorite part of the classics was having Neil Winters back. What an actor Kristoff St. John was.
Watching Gloria refuse to back down from the Abbotts and give her farewells at John’s funeral.
My favorite classic was Cassie’s death. So good but sad too. I read a speculation on Soap Hub that Mariah is really Cassie. That Cassie survived and was abducted by Ian Ward and he made her believe she was Cassie’s twin but there is really only Cassie. That’s a hard one to accept and would ruin the last scenes of Cassie’s death if it was all a lie’. Don’t think that would happen

Ali asked what other shows we are watching, and Big Brother just came back this week, so that is my big one, have watched it from the beginning with my daughter who was eight years old when it started, and is 28 now, and we had a good phone call to talk about the premiere last night. We both listen to RHAP (Rob has a podcast) to go along with it as well. Y&R should make it their goal in 2021 to bring back as many blood relatives of the core cast, including family of the deceased and or otherwise departed, as possible.

According to social media Dylan is slated to return. I would love to see him get in between Sharon and Rey and fight for her love.
A previous YTChatter mentioned that they could bring back Sam, the drug queenpin, too. In this case, pregnant with Dylan’s child (remember Dylan had to bite the bullet and agree to do the nasty in the course of his duty). Tough work but somebody had to do it. It didn’t hurt that Sam had the figure of your ideal go-go dancer and sported such a skin tight, micro-mini skirt that if it was any shorter she was in danger of exposing her “ho-hos” (words quoted directly from Ali).
I think her name was Alex, but regardless I have been rooting for this since Dylan left, and even more so since Rey Rosales and kin showed up in GC. Rey being a cop from Miami, where the whole Dylan undercover and sleeping with Alex story took place could have been epic. Alex as Mia’s sister, another Rosales sister, An ex of Arturo or Rey, or an unknown illegitimate daughter of Adrian Rosales. I feel that was such a missed, but still potential opportunity.
You are right. I have been writing Sam but her name was Alex all along. Flawed memory I guess.

I didn’t realize there was a different actor that played Daniel at one time. I wasn’t watching then, but I have never seen him before. Good looking guy. Was he on the show very long? Where was Michael Graziadei?
I had never seen that actor before but I am glad he didn’t stay long. His acting was terrible and his screen presence was nothing compared to his replacement
yes Michael Graziadei (odd last name) was a good choice to play Daniel.
