I predicted that the Sharon cancer storyline was going to turn into a love triangle but I thought it was gonna be with Nick, no they just substituted Adam in his place.

Excellent YR Chat, as always. I’m looking forward to more forbidden motel scenes between Sharon and Adam this coming week. Hey, we can’t fight where this story is going. The heart wants what the heart wants. Characters gravitate toward those who know them best in their time of need. Yay!!!! Oh, and I’m glad to hear you are able to catch a nap on Sunday afternoons Ali—you deserve it.

Ali, just a thought.
What if Chelsea doesn’t allow Adam to break up with her.
As you said she knows about what happened in Vegas, she might remind Adam, that he should keep her as an allie.

Ali I have so much fun listening to your opinions on the show and on life. I really value your opinions on both. I think it is a great balance of your view of the show and the chatters thoughts. When you read the comments, it gets everyone involved in the conversation. A very smart way to make us feel connected to you and the show and each other. The website is a lot of fun as we can read each others comments in between watching the show. Btw.. I like your set up in the closet with the y&r… Read more »

Ali, The term “Lip Service”, is one of my favorite sayings. I got into trouble at work one day, when my Director was speaking to our office about how he viewed all of us staff as “family”, and how much the agency care about us and I just laughed and blurted out “please, who are you kidding, that is just, lip service”. The show was actually more diverse back in the 80’s through early 2000’s. But even if the show wanted diversity, the can not bring in new characters now, with COVID around and they are hardly using the entire… Read more »

Ali, fear not you are doing a great job. You don’t have to please everyone, just be kind to everyone. I hope those of us Chatters are not here waiting to hear just our own comments, we already know what we think, but to be open to others opinions and then give our own in response on the website. Frankly, if I am being honest, watching your Video Broadcast each Sunday is the only reason at this point that I will continue to even pay half attention to Y&R. You are so funny and entertaining to watch but I guess… Read more »

Even if some of us try her patience a bit, she never let’s on!

Although keen observers may recall her forced to lay down the law a time or two.

Great review as usual Ali but I have the feeling that while your analysis of the Sharon, Adam, Chelsea and Rey quartet was amazingly perceptive I do not think that is what the writers have in mind for Adam and Chelsea. I think Chelsea is being shaped into a far too sympathetic figure at the moment for her to be so callously tossed aside like last night’s leftovers. I actually think that Chelsea’s role is to be Adam’s devoted companion while he battles his own demons and the forces marshalling against him in the form of Victoria, Nick, Rey, Alyssa… Read more »

Oh, and by the way, if it is true that they have cut back on the wardrobe department, Chelsea can wear those jeans everyday as far as I am concern.

Last week Chelsea seemed self-preservation crazed, and then she turned into her old self in putting what are Adam’s needs over her own. Giving the go ahead to continue getting shrinked by Sharon, giving him space to return home on his own, etc. Only last moment was she pressured to show up at Adam’s motel door…
