Re: Theo and Lola. Yes, I like them as a couple. But as for right now, Theo totally deserves to be treated better. Lola’s mixed messages and passive aggressive behavior is getting old. Of course, it’s also quite age appropriate for a 20something. My wish: That Theo put her in her place, respectuflly of course. But he needs to be real with her; i actually think she’d respond well to that!

Sign me up for many long writing sessions alone with Mr. Newman. We must get this story right!

Let’s be real. Absolutely none of us were surprised when Amanda turned out to be Hilary’s twin. And if you claim you were then.. ..well.. .. You’re new to the soap world aren’t you? .. .. .. .. Beside that point.. I’d really like to see Mariah talk to Amanda about what she’s feeling seeing as how Mariah came to town unknowingly pretending to be her own long lost twin that she never got to know. I feel like its something they could bond over.

That is true. Mariah can give her some insight. She never met Cassie either. It was predictable. I knew she couldn’t be Hillary , so a twin is next easiest thing to keep her on the show

Graham did not disappear. He died trying to kill Dina. Dina defended herself from Graham’s attempt to poison her. Also it could not have been Graham who gave Dina the emerald necklace because he was not even born when Jack arrived home from the maternity ward. It would have to have been his stepfather who abandoned the family after being smitten by Dina. Remember, Graham is his first name and his family’s name is Bloodworth plus Bloodworth came from his biological father not his stepfather.

Good dogging this. Yes, Graham did not just disappear. He most definitely had a grand finish.
Its so surprising that with Jack twisting Traci’s arm to watch the video again, she felt the preasure to observe something, anything to pacify him. Coming up with this faux mystery of the missing emerald necklace as it might be connected to a family message is such a stretch, to be polite. In 65 years jewelry comes and goes… Don’t loose sleep over it.
In real life, if something came of this I would eat my hat.

Best shot: Traci gets a story idea out of this, with a novel titled: The Mystery Of The Missing Emerald Necklace.
But then the snafu when she learns that title is already taken…

I believe the “emerald” necklace was but a cheapie $1.00 sparkler that some young friend of Dina’s purchased for her at the hotel gift shop so she would have something nice to wear home from the hospital. Dina wore it as a favor to the underclass, and then proply tossed it over dropping it into an alreadt over-stuffed jewelry box when she got back to her Abbott mansion bedroom. That’s it, Chatters. Easy come, easy go.

What a real downer. I thought the journey to uncover the secret of the emerald necklace would lead to the discovery that John Abbott was alive and well and living with their real mother in the Cayman Islands. The Dina they have locked up at Abbott mansion is a doppelgänger.

Oh. Hadn’t considered that. That could actually be where we are headed. I’ll look for that.

Permission was given to “pull the plug” on Graham, but he was never pronounced dead and there was no funeral as I remember the story, I believe the door is open to a Graham that was whisked away to a clinic where he lingered in a coma and comes back at some point.

I once presented the idea that Graham was not dead but faked his death to lull the Abbotts into a false sense of security (the poison he planned to inject into Dina was not meant to kill her). Then once Dina had passed away he reappears to claim his inheritance as her husband. The Abbotts face losing everything they stood to gain from Dina’s estate (which would probably mean her shares in Hamilton/Winters). Simultaneously we learn, to the shock and horror of her family, that while all this was going on Graham was busy swooning Ashley.

That’s what I thought Ellen. I didn’t remember it being official that Graham had died. Let Graham live!

I didn’t say Graham gave Dina the necklace. Of course he wasn’t around then. I said Dina could have given it to Graham as Dina had strong feelings for Graham and she may have wanted to give him an expensive jewel to sell or do as he wished with it. Also, Graham could have stolen the necklace from Dina knowing it was worth a lot of money.

I also like the idea that Ali mentioned about the necklace possibly leading us back to Graham. That could be an excellent way of bringing him back onto the show. A dead character can always be brought back on soap operas as it has been done many times.

It seems we all agree that Graham should return! I’m tired of only seeing him on commercials! The Abbotts need more story. They all need romance, but family drama is good too. The balance is off between the Newmans and Abbotts,

I have a feeling that Newman Enterprises will end up owning Chance Comm when the dust settles after this upcoming war.
