KYLE & SUMMER TO ELOPE IN THE AGE OF CORONA!
I was going to say this will doom the marriage, but why should it?
As is known, soaps are on a limited budget as to weddings in the modern age, and besides, it would be in poor taste for true loves Kyle and Summer to have a big blow out when true loves Kyle and Lola had the ultimate fairytale affair with all the trimmings but 10 months ago. Also, wedding guests would have a hard time assembling for the crowd scenes.
You’re right Gary…getting eloped works out perfectly.

I have to say I liked the playout between Sharon and Rey as Rey was coming down on the crimes of Adam, but acknowledging that Sharon did not feel the same way and asking for her thoughts. Rey is a major crime buster, but he also possesses sensitivity, at least towards Sharon. Sharon Case showcased her usual spot on acting talents as she stated her belief that Adam has done horrendous things including hurting her with the theft of her child telling her her baby had died, but that she believed the emotional trauma of his childhood had caused him… Read more »
I have better focused and changed my opinion to really like the Adam Newman life story goes viral plot. I wasn’t paying that much attention and didn’t see BB Abbott’s expose actually making it to what used to be the “newsstands” (Restless Style), just a situation of more family battling and suppression (with maybe Chelsea murdered in the mix). Now that it is out I am in! On the Thursday show I liked the scene with Nikki & Victoria where mother laid it out to daughter exactly what she had done as Victoria begins to process the debth of her… Read more »
Sorry to return with more comments but this is PROJECTION. Fans (except Ellen) can say whatever they want about Adam. He is so incredibly misdirected given the dibilitating secret lodged in his brain lo these many years, but as far as “monster” that’s Billy Abbott for sure. Cruel where no cruelty is needed, and strutting about with a moral superiority not deserved. Completely galling. Someone has a bullet for you Billy! Maybe Adam will get shot…
Interesting how in confronting Billy, Adam has apparently processed his shrink sessions to not see himself as evil, but defend himself as an 11 year old boy defending his blind mother from a bad man. A much better look for him. And now we see the evolution of the Sharon/ Rey breakup with Rey Adam’s chief prosecutor with Sharon running back to him. Adam needs to stand on his own two feet to solve his emotional conflicts himself, with the love of a good woman, Chelsea by his side. What an irrelevant mess has been made of her character. Is… Read more »
Gary, I was thinking the same thing, just a few weeks ago Adam was calling himself evil and was leaving his family to save them from him.
But I guess that since it was Billy, that pointed this out and Adam feels superior to him, then he must be wrong, I am not evil. I was just a boy trying to save my mother.
Something the audience felt all along.
And we just new that in Billy’s story Jack would feel the need to defend the great love of his life, Victor in it. He just can’t help it… Any little crum from his ex-enemy he laps up like…

I adore Phyllis (and Michelle Stafford), but did anyone else think her soliloquy in her hotel room was a little melodramatic? I mean, Phyllis usually needs an audience, right? In any case, she’s off to make a deal with the devil and get herself in trouble. That twist works for me!
Personally, I enjoyed it very much. Sometimes you have to talk out loud to yourself to process things. At least that is what I believe.

I am sorry to say that Victoria looked like a marionette puppet in that green blouse she was wearing. All she needed was the strings attached to her body. I had to mention it, as she just looked so odd. She is very thin and that outfit was not flattering in any way. Also, Victoria needs to loosen up that tight bun on her head. She looked like Lilith from Cheers!
I am just realizing my comments are negative this week. It is not intentional, I am sorry for that, I am just expressing what I see and feel.

All of Faith’s friends being so mean in their texts seemed very over the top and not believable to me at all. These are supposed to be Faith’s friends, as they texted her. Why would not one, but 3 of her friends talk to her as if they are long time enemies of her? I could understand if she was maybe being asked questions by her friends regarding this story. I don’t know why all 3 of her friends would just begin to bully her? It isn’t very realistic. Also, why are young tweens reading news articles online anyways? I… Read more »
I am not sure how other chatters feel, but I feel like the love scene with Elena and Nate at the clinic seemed rushed and out of nowhere to me. Elena was talking about Jared and how he didn’t want to die when all of a sudden this music comes on and Nate is suddenly doing this thing with his eyes where he is trying to give Elena sexy eyes. It looked very forced and unnatural to me, almost awkward as it felt like there wasn’t really enough build up. Nate then asks Elena if she wants to be alone… Read more »
Totally agree! It was out of nowhere. Actually, an “almost kiss” would have been better.

I posed this last week, that I didn’t think Nate was being selfless, when he convinced Devon to continue helping Amanda/Hilary(at least as far as I am concerned). I knew that he had plans and still some answers about the truth of Amanda.
But Elena you did a bad, bad thing. I can only justify cheating if you are drunk or drugged. No other excuse will do.

Ali, maybe you can make away for us to know which comment of ours someone has replied to? Like send the preview or link when we get the notification email? I subscribe to all my comments because I like to hear if someone responded.
I know! I want this too, but it’s part of the code of the website’s commenting system. I don’t have the programming skill to change it, although I do always keep on top of updates, so hopefully it’s an improvement that will be released in the future.
Do you know why we have to confirm our subscription to comments? I just find that an unnecessary step. It wasn’t like that before.

I am always on the fence with whether I like Rey or not, but when he goes in to investigator mode, especially for some reason against Victor, it really turns me off of him. I could not believe it when he showed up investigating. How boring, when there is no mystery left to the story, at least likely no mystery left.
I love a man in law enforcement. Also Paul sent Rey there to investigate, at the request of the authorities in Kansas. Even though I feel that Adam didn’t commit a crime, Hope and Victor did by covering it up.

Oooooo Ali, you were so right about Elena being the one to falter with Nate before Devon with Amanda. You were also right about Nate being one of, if not THE, best looking guy on the show, he seems to get better looking by the day.
I don’t know what it is but I feel like Nate’s eyes twinkle. Same with Devon too but more with Nate. I find it so charming & sexy. Never used to feel like that about Devon. I’d like to see a romance for Nate but I feel like it should be with someone who has spunk otherwise it would be very boring.

Kyle & Summer will return from their wedding/honeymoon with baby on board.
in 9 months?

Did Ashley shoot the “contemptible” Adam if it’s he and not Billy who takes a bullet?

Dianna, Those were my exact thoughts too. Just another example of Y&R writers, not quite up with the times.
Yes, they’re grabbing onto a mean bloggers concept, but Faith’s friends and contacts wouldn’t do that.
Glad I am not the only one who thought this.
