I voted yes. But the keyword here is deserved. As many chatters have mentioned no one is entitled to anyone’s inheritance. But did Theo deserve more than a pen. I think he did. The minute Theo knew he had a grandmother, he was gracious, kind, and attentive. He wanted to learn more about her and spend time with her. If Dina was fully cognizant of all her awake hours, I think she would have found Theo a true delight. I believe Theo would have spent more time with Dina had the opportunity presented itself. I don’t think Dina would have… Read more »

I hope that is the case! I thought that originally but then it seemed to become apparent that it was not worth anything. That would be a compelling story line and a good way to bring Theo back onto the show anytime in the future. Maybe that has always been the plan and the reason why Y&R chose the pen in the first place.

I don’t hold Theo trying to rob the Abbotts against him, but given that he was only recently introduced to the family, the entitlement seems a little brazen. A young person like Theo, growing up as he did (how did Theo grow up?) might have that sense of entitlement.

It’s total BS that the will represents Dina’s final wishes. Everyone was furious with Graham because he supposedly took advantage of Dina in her compromised mental state—and that was ages ago! Dina did not have the opportunity to properly include her grandson Theo in her will, which she obviously would have done now that her secret baby given up for adoption is known about by all. She was not competent to change her will by the time she met Theo. The greed of the Abbotts is staggering. To not amend the will, and do what they all know Dina would… Read more »

Ditto for me, right Sharod? Ellen said everything I was feeling and thinking. I voted no on the poll, but that was a slip of the fingertip, I meant to vote yes.

I wanted to add that I don’t think Theo, or anyone really, is entitled to anything from Dina’s estate. Whoever creates a will can see fit to do as they please, give what they have to strangers or will their estate to a long lost relative. However, I do believe, as Ellen perfectly stated, that if Dina was fully present and in her right mind when Theo came into her life, most definitely he would have received a substantial inheritance.

Theo attempted to use the pen but there was no ink! He need to open the pen up. Inside he will find the whereabouts of a super secret safety deposit box at Genoa City National Bank.

I like Theo but he should get nothing, and I would reprocess the historical fountain pen he received due to lack of respect for, or appreciation of it.

NO! Theo got sloppy. Demanding Dina’s entire estate was just wrong! I guess it was a great way to write off his character. What a waste of a character! 2 years building up this character, after finding out he was Dina’s grandson and now he’s just gone. He had so much potential!
