First, we should NOT get rid of Jason Thomson. He is Billy. But Victoria does need someone. Not a new, random character. I suggest Billy Miller comes on as Dylan back to town. Sharon is married. He meets Victoria here and there. Amelia and Billy Miller have a chemistry, and he has been gone long enough to be a different character.

Add that Faith always had report with Dylan, so she could choose to live with Dylan and Victoria.

I think it’s time to bring back Olivia, Nate’s mom. He needs someone in his corner and Devon needs Aunt Liv to stop being such a hypocrite. There was no reason to attack his cousin. Nate can’t perform surgery anymore, and Devon needs to stop acting so cavalier about it.

Just want to say that I am very thankful for YR Chat. Most of the time I don’t know what day of the week it is, but Sunday is very distinctive because Ali comes along with a fresh & entertaining YR Chat. And thank you for all the extra work you did to recap those classic episodes Ali! That was intense! Skipping around from year to year, decade to decade—wow. They didn’t make it easy. I share your hope that they won’t have any need to shut down production in 2021.

I have seen some promos of Sharon and Rey’s beautiful wedding—with Adam peeking around the corner at them. SHADAM! It would be SO the icing on 2020 to make me sit through yet another relationship before we finally get around to SHADAM. I have been very patient! Also, regarding Chelsea, ummm— she didn’t even care when it turned out the supposed love of her life/father of her son, Adam, wasn’t DEAD. She slowly wandered back into town with that dude Calvin who she was using for his money. When she was done with him, she moved in with ADAM’S BROTHER,… Read more »

Really! Adam is peeking around the corner at Sharon’s wedding? Bums me out and does not portend well. Where are these promos? SHADAM sucks. This is not 15 years ago, but at least you grasp the ramifications of Faith going full delinquent with what would be Sharon’s blessing should she decide to pursue the houndings of Adam. You bring up a great point. Before the log cabin explosion the love of Adam & Chelsea was paramount to Y&R. It was so built up, but then years later as Adam is reborn Chelsea heard some bad gossip about him and decides… Read more »

Adam and Sharon are drawn to each other like magnets. It’s not just Adam! In this regime—Sharon shows up on Adam’s doorstep just as much as vice versa. And she told Adam she would never love Rey the way she loves him. But you are very correct that the writing has been inconsistent and we haven’t been given much depth or insight regarding Sharon and Adam, 2020 version. I suppose if they are going to have Sharon pour coffee for a living and take away all her interesting history and make her into another ho-hum legacy character for others to… Read more »

Ali, I believe that Rey told Lola, that Arturo was already coming to the wedding, when they were talking in her apartment and he wanted her to be a buffer, if he got upset and they came up with the code word Habanero.
I think the surprise guest is Celeste Rosales. Because they said she was not able to make it. But it seems she does show up.
Now Celeste is someone, that would, in my opinion be a good match for Jack. And since their children are no longer together, it could work.

Celeste would bring so much fun and trouble into Jack’s life! If it can’t be Gloria, then Celeste would be an excellent love interest. Peter Bergman needs more to do than make brief speeches about the meaning of life (and then stare into space forlornly).

How nice for you, Ali. I love you have Melody Thomas Scott’s book on your shelf. Can’t wait to hear you comments.

Ali, you can not imagine how delighted I was to hear you say that you wanted to see Jack reunite with Gloria. That was music to my ears. My one great wish is to see Gloria finally find love with a man who would truly worships her and see the good that lies in the heart of a woman who has been subjected to nothing but ridicule and pillory in the past. Additionally, I would also enjoy watching her reach that final goal in her life: to join the ranks of Nikki, Jill, Katherine, and Dina, all of whom belong… Read more »

This is a fun time for the YRChat community; we get to make out predictions. What I have noticed is that almost none of our predictions come to fruition but in a substantial number of occasions, our predictions are better storylines than what a lot of the stories the writers are able to come up with by themselves.

I would have to go with option #2 with Amanda about to open Pandora’s box with her family history. Her birth mother, Naya, I have a feeling will lay down hard truths to Amanda and Amanda would imo probably feel maybe she should had left everything alone. I still don’t understand why Rose took Hilary to raise and not Amanda? What happen there? As a Y&R viewer, I would want to know about that. I still feel imo Amanda is really Hilary. Lot of what is going on right now on the show is not adding up with the Amanda/Hilary… Read more »

If you think about it, Amanda was the lucky one. After all Hilary did end up becoming Devon’s wife. I am sure being raised by her foster mother had a lot to do in shaping up Hilary’s personality which is what help to attract Devon’s attention to her. If Amanda had been raised by Hilary’s foster mother the same thing could have happened to her. It is vital to keep in mind that had Hilary not gotten married to Devon she would not have been present in Lily’s car when she had her accident.

At this point, with all the fleshing out of Amanda it would be so bizarre.

Oh, I thought Amanda and Hillary might be Dru’s daughters. Or maybe Devon’s birth mother, giving them up. They are not going there, and I don’t know where they are going with another character who won’t stay on canvas.
