I found the wedding boring. I’m sorry it was dull. I think the lack of people attending made it worse. For that they could just went to the courthouse. However Sharon did look beautiful and I loved Nick’s purple tux. I can’t believe they made such a big deal about Tessa song and she didn’t even stay to sing at the wedding. Did Tessa”a goodbye seem final to you?
I think Lily might have a miracle baby with Billy. It’s just the cruel juxtaposition to Abby’s sure to be infertility problems resulting from her miscarriage. I also like the idea of Billy having a child and raising it with someone other than Victoria.
Dress review: loved Mariah’s dress for this wedding. The color was just beautiful on her. Sharon’s dress was beautiful but didn’t she have surgery this year that would’ve left scars? Scars that could’ve been visible in that dress. Abby’s dress was also gorgeous even for the short time we saw her in it. Lola’s dress was great on her, classic.
I see a bunch of prime time TV shows have delayed their shooting schedules due to the COVID rate/outbreaks in California. Oh no! I hope YR is ahead by enough weeks that any delays will not affect the show. It’s a brand new year, we need brand new episodes. And I hope the show has strict protocols in place. Good comments posted this week about scenes without distancing. Maybe they filmed extra scenes when the cast had all been tested and in a bubble for the 12,000 episode/Abby & Chance wedding?
Ali has an intresting twist on the Rey will die belief in her predictions for 2021 where instead she sees him becoming sick with Sharon nursing him back to health as he did for her in 2020.
I already made this comment, but will ask again – if anyone can identify the artist singing Auld Lang Syne on the New Year’s Eve episode. I would appreciate any suggestion to identify it. Thanks!

Was great seeing Arturo again. Nice touch that he married Rey and Sharon. Good scene between him and Abby too
I liked seeing him too. I did think it was a bit tacky for Abby to say “I’m glad you cheated on me”!!! Just say—this is my husband Chance. It’s good to see you again. I’m glad we both found happiness—or whatever. Similarly, why did Rey have to bring up Arturo and Mia hurting him? That is all water under the bridge by now. Surely the brothers had had that conversation several times. The show seemed to be doing awkward exposition with these scenes—here is the low down on Arturo in 60 seconds or less. Hi Arturo, let’s do a quickie recap of how we trashed you as we wrote you off the show. Take note Theo—we will do this to you too—next New Year’s Eve.
What a difference a year makes. January 2020: Adam was included in a family event, Chelsea is with Nick—then he dumps her, Kyle is with Lola, Victoria has a heart and is fretting over Billy, Billy is hanging out in dive bars with Amanda, Phyllis is flirting with Chance, Teriah is given screen time, Nikki is judgy as ever but super helpful re Connor’s schooling. However Jack is still stuck just making corny speeches (give that man a real storyline!). And there’s Theo—RIP (Rise in Paris) Theo. I totally agree Ellen. Adam is being written as a total villain without a heart or soul. Not true! I admit he has done some despicable things but he is redeemable. Let Adam become a hero. Maybe he .can save Faith from alcoholism or some dire accident or something. Might even win Sharon back at some point
I hope so! He has done heroic things in the past— saved both Noah and Faith, in fact. Taken a bullet for Victor, saved Chance, saved Sharon. No one ever mentions those things. Would be good to see some balance restored.
He saved Billy and Connor too on St. Valentine’s Day in 2014. Saved so many lives and now he is the town pariah.
I found a nice Christmas classic clip where many of the characters are in it. Katherine shows up at the Abbott mansion after having a few to drink, as she wants to tell John about Jack and Jill’s one night love affair. It is also a special as is commented on by the downloader that we see Lauren and her father Neil Fenmore at the dinner table with the Williams family. I find Lauren’s voice not to sound like her for some reason.

Ali, I hope you enjoy this short clip and other chatters. I am very excited to post this video as I was so surprised to find it. It may be the one and only time we will ever see Chloe’s dad again, and for many I am sure it will be the first time seeing him. Also, it could get deleted at any time. Lol..I can see that looking like Paul at first glance. Someone wrote in the comments section said that the guy hitting on Nina looks like J.T with a wig…lol
I’m serious. The Thursday wedding episode was one of the best I’ve ever seen. Abby’s wedding was so compelling and beautiful, this one hit a completely different note. Kudos to Y&R to be able to use their imaginations to make both so different and moving. I don’t want to go on & on about it, but I’ll note all the different love relationships that were in that restaurant. Everyone assembled had complex relationships with many of the others and it was a complete love fest of emotions from everyone on so many different levels. I agree, this is one of the year’s best episodes. Sharon and Rey’s wedding surprised me. I didn’t know if it would be interrupted by Adam. Adam thankfully stayed in the background. It was lovely and their vows were so meaningful. The family moments were so tender. I liked how viewers were able to reevaluate relationships in Genoa City. How devoted is Adam to Chelsea? Rey’s commitment vows ran so deep and look at serene, beautiful Sharon looking back at him. She does love him! Faith, dispite her conflicts, had such a happy smile for Sharon & Rey! We are always picking on Mariah, but Nick exposed her as having a heart as big as her mother. Nick, the world’s greatest best man! Sharon vowing to be there for Rey when his socker team bombs out lit everyone’s fuse and pandamonium broke out! I do see Sharon good naturedly getting into sports.
