I like the drama that would ensue with a fight. In the real world, I’d tread more lightly. But in the soap world, it will set up a new rivalry. The Abbott’s vs the Lockes. Jack will understand how conflicted Kyle is because of his mistaken paternity. He will advise Kyle to seek visitation/and or partial custody. Ashton Locke will go after Jabot and try a hostile takeover. All the Abbott’s could be in his sights and have their worlds rocked. The question is will Victor and Adam side with the Abbott’s’ or help Ashton crumble Jabot for good.
I voted ‘better to back off’. For now. Bring in Kyle’s son in a few years, when Kyle is in a solid relationship, and his son is in his twenties.
Kyle just takes that young lady’s word for it that the baby is his? Unreal!
I say let it be. If Kyle pursues a relationship with his son Harrison, he will risk putting himself and everyone he knows in the line of fire. The boy has a father he has known for three years, do we need to uproot a child’s life, if they are happy and stable. If this was not the case, I would say go get your son, but to traumatize and confuse a child, because ” you are mine”, to me would be a selfish act on Kyles part. I think Kyle will fight for his son and Summer will stay by his side and eventually Jack will find out too
Forget you ever heard about him. The girlfriend intended to cut you out. He will be fine. Let him look for you in 32 years. Cold, but this is what I think. You are little more than a sperm donor. You don’t have to send money as the Lockes are rich. Mr. Locke is going to possibly wipe out your whole Abbott family if you make your presence known. Believe people when they tell you what to expect from him. If at some later point in time Franklin needs your blood type or bone marrow we’ll worry about it then.
Note to Gary: Who is Franklin?
It is his son so he should have a right to bring him up as his father. This is not the same situation as Devon and Abby because it is made clear between the two of them that Devon’s role is simply to facilitate the birth of a child for Abby and Chance. If Devon made his wishes known that he intended to stake a claim to the child as a father then, undoubtedly, Abby would not have chosen him to be the donor.
