Ali, you asked for a dream recast for Amanda. Mine would be Keri Washington. She was Olivia Pope in Scandal. It would be a treat for all Y&R viewers as she is an amazing actress. Mishael Morgan wouldn’t have to worry viewers would be turned off by her character while she was away. But I would want to get Mishael back and have Keri stay as a long lost triplet sister.
Sutton is a morally bankrupt person. I don’t understand Amanda’s impulse to help him and trash her father’s memory. Sutton valued his stupid political ambitions over his daughter and granddaughters. Then he watched his granddaughters struggle and suffer while growing up without lifting a finger to help. He is soulless. And Naya is weak. She likes her cushy life and apparently never stands up to Daddy. Why does Amanda want any part of this? Find the evidence that Sutton killed your father, put him in prison and then be done with the whole sorry bunch.
I’m not that interested in this storyline but hope maybe if we see court scenes can see Amanda in action
Curious minds want to know about Ali Jr’s dance classes! Are we talking ballet? Jazz? Tap? Hip Hop? A bit of everything? I imagine Ali Sr. is getting some adorable pics & videos. So glad her classes have resumed—great for both of you.
I have no doubt that Adam will donate a kidney. He has risked his life to save others on many occasions—Faith, Victor, Noah, Eden for example. However, you can only donate one kidney. He will have to accept that he can never donate to Connor or Christian, if they should ever need one. And Adam is Christian’s only surviving biological parent. Does Christian have the same rare blood type? Has this even crossed Nick’s mind?
You are really smart and this point you make Ellen, about Christian possibly having the same rare blood type, is a clever as you can get. If only the writers could dig a little deeper and come up with stories like this instead of predictable outcomes.
Thank you—but I admit this probably just comes from my resentment over Nick stealing Adam’s son! When Adam came back from Vegas with amnesia instead of being dead it was despicable that Nick denied Adam any access to his son. I suppose Faith’s need for a kidney takes precedence, but she could be put on dialysis long enough to determine Christian’s blood type and think this decision through. Nick’s ridiculous attitude about Adam always annoys me!
Ellen, do you recall when NIck seemed to make peace with Adam when Adam was in prison. (I don’t remember why) The role of Adam was being played by Justin Hartley. Adam asked NIck to look after his son and NIck promised Adam he would. NIck was being compassionate towards Adam and they seemed to be starting anew. What happened to change all of that as NIck seemed to go back to hating Adam as soon as he came back to Genoa City?
Yes! It’s like the Justin Hartley years never happened. Very frustrating!
Nick is only thinking of Faith at the moment. Adam needs a redemption story and this is it!
Well, it looks like the CBS Gods heard my wish! Kimberlin Brown aka Shelia Carter posted a pic of her parking pass from 4/30 from…wait for it…TELEVISION CITY! Looks like Shelia is heading back to Bold and Beautiful! Fingers crossed that we will get another YR BB crossover!
Cool!
Fantastic. I’d love to put her and Lauren in the same room.
Is Victor malicious enough to let Ashland die? I think the answer to that question was settled when Victor instigated the whole Marco fiasco. If you recall Marco Anniselli was a particularly notorious drug lord Victor introduced to Genoa City as part of his master plan to take over Jabot while removing Jack from the C.E.O. position in the process. Four people (Austin, Courtney, Kelly and Detective Harding) perished as a direct result of his fiendish plot. While it is true that Victor was not the mastermind behind the four deaths (that mainly was the work of Marco) it is… Read more »
I don’t think Ashland will die. But it will force Ashland to want revenge. I’m sure Billy will be his biggest cheerleader!
This also put a dangerous drug lord/imposter in Phyllis’ life and her BED. That’s beyond evil. But Victor “isn’t that person anymore”? Jack and Phyllis are just supposed to let it go? Phyllis still holds a bit of a grudge, but that’s it. Apparently Summer was never told?
There are ALOT of things Summer hasn’t been told about her mom and grandpa. That’s why its time to reunite Jack and Phyllis. Its past time they right those wrongs!
I think Kyle prefers Summer as that blissfully ignorant sex bomb that she is.
Not if you bring the topic up. Then the matter really grinds her gears. It speaks volumes that Phyllis has now resigned herself to the fact that she will never be able to make Victor pay. It says that for all her indomitable spirit, Victor is the one foe that defeated her on the field of battle.
It might take years but Phyllis will always look for an opportunity to have Victor pay
I still don’t know how Phyllis didn’t know that wasn’t Jack ,especially in her bed!
Victor is ruthless but I don’t think he would have let Ashland die especially if he couldn’t sign the contract. Jack did something similar to Victor. Left him lying on the floor having a heart attack or stroke and kicked his hand on the way out. Now who is the more ruthless? It’s a toss up!
Jack did dial 911 when he saw Victor lying unconscious in his mansion after getting his clock cleaned by JT.
