KUDOS to Gina Tognoni, and her wonderful scene with Jack on Mondays episode. Ms. Tognoni has “dethroned” Michelle Stafford as the quintessential Phyllis . Great job Gina!! I love you!!
I hate the way Victor got out of his prison sentence, but I must say its good to see him back in his element at Newman and wasting no time getting back to his scheming, manipulating, and intimidating ways. Looks like Chloe, Nick, and Victoria are his first marks. Y&R is a truly better show when Victor is locked up.
I mean not locked up.
Well the Billy and Phyllis breakup didn’t last long lol.
Lol. Soon they’ll be planning “elevator escapes”.
Elevator trysts are certainly the naughtiest of all romantic rendezvous in daytime drama. Unfortunately, in Genoa City there exist the omniscient eye of Kevin and his computer.
Billy texts: Meet me on the 2nd floor elevator.
Phyllis texts back: No! I’m trying to save my marriage.
Billy: If I ever meant anything to you Phyllis, you’ll meet me now.
Phyllis: Alright alright…better make it the 4th floor.
Lol
After watching today’s episode I am left wondering how Jack could be any more dense? He is about as perceptive as a box of rocks! The funniest part, however, is him standing just outside the new Brash and Sassy headquarters overhearing the conversation going on and then decides to enter reiterating that he will not spy on them.
Yes yes, I noted that myself. Jack eavesdropping, then announcing he would not spy. Um…
Thumbs up! I was thinking the same thing about Jack eavesdropping outside of the lab door… and then insisting he would never spy on Brash and Sassy! :/
Everybody’s got their dues in life to pay
Everybody but Victor Newman, sentence defrayed
Caught between husband and lover; it’s getting old
Phyllis is living a lie two-fold
Waking up in prison blues…
Chelsea sees through Adam’s ruse
Let the lies flourish, like habit
Beautiful Bella, are you an Abbot?
Chole’s return got to brainiac
Watch out Natalie, she’s a maniac
By the way i loved that little dig Adam made about Sharon burning down the ranch and how he wanted to do the same thing. At least adam did not lose his sense of humor. Oh and side note i saw on instagram that justin hartley will be on a movie called ‘this is us’
Jill is kind of pissing me off! Is it really her buisness of who her son sleeps with?.she also did not consider victoria’s feelings when she hired cain on brash and sassy it was her company. Also why does she care if billy and victoria get back together or not? Also why did she have to break into phyllis’ room? She could have confronted her anywhere else. Jill has been controlling, invaisve and kind of unfair. Being concerned about her son is one thing but this is crazy
I think Jill should leave Billy alone , and go back to her criminal husband, talk about bad choices! I would love to see Colin take every cent JIll”s got. The only problem with that is Jill owns a big piece of Fenmores, and Lauren would also get hurt. So far, despite her affair with the bartender, Lauren is just about the only person in Genoa City who does not grate on my last nerve! Chelsea is pretty cool too1
I love elizebeth hendrickson! She is great at playing a villioness! Much like Ian Ward, chloe is smart, sassy and snarky. Although it’s hard to hear her talk about Adam killing Delia. She is acting as if he cold- blooded murdered her. Which is not what happened, it was a horrible accident which Adam had no control over. Chloe doesent realize it could have happened the other way around. If she was mad that he lied about it, i would kind of understand, but seem she is mad about the fact he killed her.
After today, Billy should never give in to Phyllis again; she flip flops back and forth between he and Jack. For what? She no longer loves Jack the way she used to. She’s in love with Billy. So now she will just be miserable Phyllis doing the “right thing” by staying with Jack so as not to hurt him. All the while Phyllis will cry herself to sleep thinking about Billy. That’s the wrong thing to do. It’s not fair to Jack because he’s all in, but Phyllis will only be going through the motions.
Dear Sandra:
Yes. It is an interesting turn of events, but let us see how this pans out (can you imagine Phyllis caving in?). As of now, perhaps the production staff is interested in cultivating a Team Jill.
Agreed. We shall see how this all pans out.
Color me forget-me-not yellow
In laws make strange bed fellows
I am so over the Phyllis and Billy end already and I want the baby reveal to be over it gets tiring I feel like the storylines are like a hamster on a turning wheel it keeps going on and on with no end you would think after Phelps left or got fired things would calm down and make some sense its still off the Chain dammit already yes they can put an end to it at Y&R (in my Bob the Builder voice) Chloe is working my nerves and she just recently came back her mental state is still… Read more »
Jill, completely aware that her son Billy is in the middle of committing in flagrante delicto, decided, nonetheless, to sneak upstairs and take of peek into his bedroom! What! Is there something the matter with this woman? Is she some sort of twisted, sexually demented psychopath? She must have realized that there was a good chance she would catch him naked. Is she that sick?
I mean really….Billy is a man, not a child. Why on earth would Jill head upstairs to “spy” on Billy?
Thank you Sandra I found that statement to be a little out of context. Jill can pretty much do whatever she wants to do. Lord have mercy.
JIll has always been an overbearing character, and she has always treated Billy like a child, She has made it clear to Billy that she considers Cane her #1 son. (Even though there is NO relation). I have always regarded Jill as “Victor Light”.
I’m all caught up and even watched Monday’s episode. I’m into it. I have a feeling, with the new EP, some big story lines are going to come to fruition, only to be replaced by new and better ones!
It is a complete mystery to me how the producers of “The Young and The Restless” can entertain any expectation of us viewers celebrating their resolution of Victor Newman’s emancipation from prison. While It should come as no surprise to devoted fans who have enjoyed the show, since they have long suspected that within the canon of the program’s Ten Commandments exists an unbeknownst eleventh commandment with the following addendum: Thou shall not inflict punishment upon Victor Newman commensurate to the torment he smote upon his enemies. Consequently, veteran spectators of the program are expected to adopt a degree of… Read more »
Hi Ali. I read an email from Mal Young. He said Victoria and Travis are not over just end of a chapter not end of the story. I was so glad to read that. Also on Soapshows.com they have a petition to get Simon Neville back. I hope they bring him back.
Now look dang it LOL, if I were one of the set designers for that show and I knew what the Chancellor mansion meant not only to me but to the fans, and if I saw first hand that they kept toying with the paint and furniture I would have to stand up and speak my voice. The mansion should have never been touched. Touch up Sharon’s cottage, touch up the coffee shop, anything but the mansion. And hey maybe I’m the only one thinking this but why haven’t we seen the Newman ranch or Abbott mansion in some months?… Read more »
Does anyone have an opinion as to whether or not Y&R intended to make the re-do of the Chancellor mansion a fun sour plot point which they would later amend, or was it but bad judgement from the very beginning? If it was done as some kind of negative character statement about Billy, pointless. For starters, despite the fact that Billy is the son of the person with the deed to the house who has apparently moved on, it makes no sense and is a total waste for Billy to be living there. I can’t come up with a single… Read more »
Oh my gosh Gary I miss that! Thinking of the Fosters and Brooks family, I long for those storylines to come back to light. Seeing Katherine this week just gave me chills. With all of this going on with the Abbotts and Newmans, I had to see Katherine.
When Jill pictured Katherine walking upstairs, it broke my heart. What a wonderful thing to do on the part of YR.
I can’t help but believe Y&R thought they were doing a good thing by remodeling the mansion, painting it darker (since they were inheriting it to Billy), and trying to make it look more modern. This may or may not be true, but in my mind, they decided to switch it back because of the fan reaction.
Also, I love your point about the other sets being WAY more in need of a touch up. I wouldn’t mind seeing Nick move out of the condo and back into a sleek new version of the tack(y) house!
Can you believe it?! We actually SAW the ranch this week!!! I was stunned. We even had a few new beautiful outdoor shots. Bravo, Y&R! We need to see sets other than the Athletic Club and the Coffee House.
