I voted for Elena, but I want a triangle. I want Elena to romance Nate. When all seems well, I want Imani to pounce and start an affair with Nate. Imani could come up with some interesting ways to meet up and seduce Nate. I’d love to have Nick see how seductive Imani is and lure her away from Nate. Thus setting Phyllis free.
Imani !! Nate has never been, nor is he even now, Elena’s #1. However, true love aside, Elena has “decided” that she truly loves him (much like Sharon “loves” Rey, and [unpopular opinion here], Billy “loves” Lily. But… Imani kind of seems like one who relishes the chase – then would immediately grow tired of a man once she landed him. While Nate seems to have his guard up – or tries to APPEAR that he does – he may get caught up in Imani’s claws despite his knowing better… should be fun to see how this all plays out.
I like Elena way more than Imani, don’t like that type of person. But for story and match wise. Imani is better suited for Nate.
Plus, I think we are finally about to see that side of Nate, he has been hiding. I can’t wait. I just hope the writers don’t change their minds again.
I think Imani is a good match, interesting, mysterious, true soap vibes. In real life? maybe Elena? They are both doctors, with limited drama. Blah. Imani has many possibilities.
Nate & Elana go back & forth too much I’m over it. Imani is spunky like Hillary. Most of the time she isn’t nice but maybe he can liven up boring Nate even if it won’t be a long term relationship. Nate always has that sparkle in his eye but after all the drama with Elana I feel it dimmed & he can’t fully trust her. She doesn’t know what she wants either. Both just need to move away from each other.
Imani. Imani is so perky and we need a little perkiness on Y&R. Scenes between her and Elena & Nate are quite funny. The scenes deserve that old background music with the tune, “Da da da da dan, (snap) (snap) (snap), da da da da dan!”.
Speaking of that background music, do you guys remember that? It was used in funny scenes like when Mamie hid the money that Jill gave in her paper bag. Or when Gloria (when she was still played by Joan Van Ark) first met John. Ahhhh. The good days of Y&R.
I voted for Imani because I kind of like her boldness and feel she is more interesting than Elena. Plus, I feel Elena has squandered her chances with Nate too many times. He deserves someone who only has eyes for him and right now that’s Imani.
Elena gives a sense of security, peace and a grounded presence. Imani’s presence comes across as a few rolls in the hay and nothing stable.
Imani? We don’t know her very well, but she is a loose cannon. She was just nasty to Amanda from day 1—without cause. She had blind loyalty to a snake like Sutton. Grandfather or not—that shows poor judgment, at a minimum. Now they are softening her character, a bit. Imani brings flair to every scene, but unassuming Nate is not a good match for her. Elena has a temperament and career that mesh well with Nate. Unless you want soap opera fireworks that is, hmmmmmmm.
Nate and Elena have a lot more in common but I don’t know if she is over Devon. Imani is unattached but they don’t have a lot in common and she is a big flirt
