Just saw the preview for next week’s Y&R episodes. Looks like Victoria & Ashland got married, not sure. I think Ashland has a plan. If he marries Victoria, he gets to be co-owner of Newman Enterprises and then he could steal the company from Victoria and then Victor and Victoria could fight again. That’s my theory.

I think it was Ashland’s plan all along, to win over Victoria and Newman Enterprises to get back at Victor. He didn’t expect Victoria to fall in love with him. The question is What about Tara ,are they working together to take down both Newman and Abbott family?

Maybe Nate is the Chief of Surgery for the whole hospital while Stitch is the Chief Trauma Surgeon and Nina IS the culprit, possibly in cahoots with Chance….…………Just trying to figure this mess out.

I think Stitch is lying and he kidnapped Mariah. He is a doctor so he is making sure she is eating well. But what is the endgame? to take the baby after delivery? What about Mariah, what happens to her?

I was reading through the comments and somebody said that they think Nina is the kidnapper and I came back, unable to find said chatter, to agree. Here’s a good argument: Nina knows all about the sound proof room Esther showed her. But here’s the cornball: Highly unlikely the (I won’t say secret, but unused) room had a built in compartment in a side wall to slip food on a tray in as if the room was originally constructed to accommodate prisoners. O.K., I’m not stupid and realize that cool feature could have recently been installed. But don’t forget this,… Read more »

To cover all bases I will say Nina did this in cahoots with Ben “Stitch” Rayburn

Why would Nina do this? what is her motivation?

Gary, it was DIANNA who came up with a plausible reason as to why Nina would keep Mariah in hiding. It was at the bequest of Chance to keep her and The Baby safe.
By the way, the Dumbwaiter, used to provide food and vitamins to Mariah would have been a part of the house design back in the day. This was supposedly a study. Which Nina could have transformed into a bedroom setting.
But we shall see.

Thank you Sharod. I was just about to tell Gary it was me but I see you have said it for me! As I mentioned recently, the reason why Nina may have kidnapped Mariah could be because Chance has ordered Nina to do so. In order to keep the unborn baby safe, Mariah must be hidden away. As compliant as Mariah is, I don’t think she would agree to not having a life and remaining hidden away. The secret case Chance is working on may be connected to Mariah being in harm’s way.

The sound proof room in the mansion might have a dumbwaiter, Esther would know!

Tara was literally saved by the bell the other day when Kyle said “really” after Tara had said that she would do anything for her child, Just then the doorbell rang, and Kyle went to answer it. This was the first time Kyle gave any indication that he was suspicious of Tara. Kyle is beginning to get a clear picture of Tara as we see Kyle listening to Tara’s conversation with Phyllis in the hallway. I am happy to see Kyle finally begin to see through Tara’s phoniness.

Why is Sharon not showing way more concern over Mariah!!?? Sharon would know if this is out of Mariah’s character. Rey is with the police force, why not have him search for Mariah. Maybe he can track signals of her cell phone, more than what the app can. This just baffles me.

Having Sharon express mild concern every few episodes is not enough for what it should be as her mother!!

Yeah, what’s up with that? It doesn’t make any sense.

As I said before, they have her focused on Adam. Tessa is going to have a conversation next week with Sharon and Rey at Crimson Lights, about Mariah’s absence, but apparently they will not be too concern. It seems that Y&R is setting it up, so that Tessa will be the hero in this storyline.

Chelsea is a life long con artist and grifter Rey. And you are very gullible.

Rey and Sharon blatantly staring at and eavesdropping on Conner and Adam was odd.

I find it puzzling when Sharon and Rey are in a scene together, they are never physically close together. They are across the room, have a piece of furniture between them or are on opposite ends of a table. Very curious direction. It gives me a feel of emotional distance which could be their intent.

I’m all in for Nick to be Phyllis’ sexy supportive partner in crime, it’ll be a huge bummer if he pulls the old “Calm down babe, you’re acting crazy.” bit. Feeling pretty optimistic though that he’ll be on board though, even Jack and Kyle smell the stink now, albeit not fully distrustful of The Treacherous Twins, they’re at the very least starting to catch on.

I think Nick will be supportive of Phyllis’ obsession to bring down Sally and Tara, simply because it’s all to “rescue” Summer… and it will probably pay off. Nick’ll just “look the other way” (as he usually does), trying to stay blissfully ignorant of Phyllis’ often questionable methods.

Tara will prevail. These two are the Tweedledum and Tweedledee of the show.

Phyllis going after Sally and Tara. It makes no sense. If she wants to know if they had anything to do with Summer leaving town, ASK SUMMER!!

Kyle and Jack are in such a frenzy now as though everything else is immaterial but for the cat-fighting. I’m beginning to hope that when all is revealed, Summer won’t actually WANT Kyle back after all of his recent, morose lolly-gagging. It’s seeming too predictable and tidy -and humdrum- for them to ride off together (and.. off the show) into the proverbial sunset… but I guess my bet is that’s where things are headed. I’ll accept the sweetness of it all if I must.

Almost everyone in Summer’s circle has questioned her on the topic of leaving and if she was pressured to do so, or if she has regrets about uprooting to Italy, every time they hit a brick wall of “Italy is amazing and I wasn’t ready to be a stepmom BS”. Summer it’s spilling the truth because Tara directly threatened to cut Kyle out of Harrison’s life if she didn’t play ball. Summer really believes the threat is legit, which it probably is, and can’t bear to be the reason Kyle looses his son. That would only lead to a lifetime… Read more »

Well, it seems that Summer will finally tell Phyllis and Nick, via video call, the truth about what Tara did.
I am just looking forward to see Nick, normally Mr. Straight Arrow, team up with Phyllis to bring Sally and Tara down.
This should be fun and I hope funny.

Tragic to be sure, but too bad, so sad if people don’t get the responses they want from Summer. Just because her explanations, expressions, and decisions have seemed sooooo questionable and tortured, they don’t give “Mama Bear” Phyllis the authority to override and decide Summer’s best interests. Phyllis’ “best interest support” is to expose Tara and Sally, and ALSO expose her own daughter’s lies. Not seeing unconditional parental support in that.

Abby is such a pessimist. The reason why Mariah isn’t coming is that she doesn’t want to, it is because she has been kidnapped.

Tara will have these two numbskulls eating out of palm of her hand once again the second she puts on that “oh poor sweet me” act.

Right! If it were not for Kyle exiting the show, after this diversion of Tara falling under suspicion she would smoothly put the numbskulls suspicions to rest where she would then continue on living the life of Riley under the Abbott roof for at least another 2 years in marriage or one way or another. But that was Y&R, the classic years where life in GC moved along at a snails pace. Think of it if Tara does get busted & ousted: She only just moved into the A mansion a few weeks ago(!) and really hasn’t much gotten to… Read more »
