I definitely want to see more of Tara. I feel like we have only scratched the surface with her. We know she has a brother named Shawn. I definitely think we will be finding out more about their relationship and why it is estranged or this wouldn’t have been mentioned. There is potential for a good story line regarding Tara and her brother. Also, why would Y&R give us his name if they didn’t intend to bring him on? Oh I am SO done with Tara. I had high hopes for this character early on. Unfortunately it was the actress’s portrayal of Tara that swayed me vote to “NO, I’m done now”. The character had potential…even up to the end, but I just felt the actress was boring with a capital B!!! Flat, one dimensional and emotionless. Was she happy?? Not sure! Upset?? No idea. Angry?? I haven’t a clue because her delivery was always done in the same monotone voice behind the same glassy eyes and the same semi-smile. They gave her the script…and she said the words…period.
I’m a bit behind. I just saw the episode where she said she was the one who leaked Ashland’s video in the park. I find her fake voice & sweetness annoying but her plotting is very interesting. I’m liking her scheming more than Sally’s. I don’t know where to put her but not breaking Jack’s heart with fake paternity, sending Kyle & Summer away. I want Tara to get a chance to redeem herself and also make Phyllis and Sally head exploded. I can see Jack eventually letting Tara back into the Abbot home for the sake of Harrison and possibly falling for her. Or Tara joining Chloe, Sally and Chelsea at the Newman Media. I could see it now Bad Girls Clothing company.
Sure! I agree w/TB84; the actress IS fantastic. She’s certainly brought to life a character who stirred intense reactions from chatters! Do I like Tara,”the person”? Uh, duh, clearly not -who would?? But…holding out dwindling hope for an Ashland-Tara coup, exposing all Tara’s deeds having been crafted as deflection from their true Newman take-over mission… ah well, I know I should probably give this up. OK. So I WOULD next enjoy seeing Tara freed (through any silly, soapy contrivance). I’m over Tara! Her whispery voice is annoying. Her conniving schemes are soap worthy. But I don’t want to see her back.
I voted to bring back Tara. Although, the voice super annoying, and she will return with her real voice. She has unresolved storyline – her brother is Stitch. She is Kelly and has had plastic surgery. Kyle’s DNA matched because Harrison is really Jack’s son from the island kidnapping. Kyle is gone, and Tara can demonically try to get Harrison away from possessive parent Jack. Stitch will weigh in and try to help? He wants Abby’s baby? Tara wants Harrison? These two can wreak havoc for weeks. I know, this story idea is a twist, so it may not be.
I was over Tara, the first day she was on my screen. She told Kyle that Harrison was his son, but he was not allowed to claim him. I knew then, she was a manipulative, self serving person.
I don’t like her but still want her to come back, because she was interesting. Besides what will happen to Harrison now that Tara is arrested? Could be a fight between Ashland and Kyle but since Kyle took a supersonic jet to Summer, maybe Harrison will just stay with Grandpa Jack for awhile
I’m over Tara, the only way I would like for her to come back would be full villain crazy mode, Shila Carter style. It could be fun to see her stalk and terrorize Kyle and Summer in Italy sending them back to GC sometime down the road. Then she could pull the old plastic surgery, new identity trick an cause a ruckus in Genoa Junction for all those that vexed her.
She has to come back. Kyle is Harrison’s father only in the biological sense; he wasn’t there when the child was born; he didn’t even know Tara was pregnant. The fact that Kyle was left entirely in the dark regarding the birth of Harrison might be used to defend Kyle’s right to custody of the child but the fact remains that the only parents Harrison ever knew for almost his entire life were Ashland and Tara. Removing them from his life and leaving him in the custody of Kyle is unconscionable and potentially dangerous to the mental health of the… Read more »
Omg. How that all turned out and around. What a week it has been last week ^^. I have to say even though I hated what Tara done to Summer and Kyle , Jack and even Lauren at the end , how she used her kid to get what she wants (of course for Harrison’s sake too) 😉 . I think it’s because of the actress, I think she’s fantastic! She’s shown pretty wide range of acting/emotions. Lo’ these many weeks all I have wanted was to get rid of Tara(!) and now I want her back! Tara has paraded around in demure hip hugger streach (with lots of fabric) pants so hoity toity, seeing herself as above the average GCer so now her arrest is so very embarrassing. Embarrassing! Let her grovel to explain herself to the general public at large out on bail, but put Rey as her guardian making it completely impossible for her to skip town since he is not busy on the Mariah case.
