Glad Gloria is coming back. My guess is she was hired by Chloe, since she said told Lauren that it was going to be her last day as her assistant, as shown on the previews. I hope this means we get to see her more often. And, I am very curious if Nick got angry with Faith and Moses.

If Gloria is coming back that would be great news but the bad news is they probably plan to use her as little as they have in the past.
Y&R alum sighting! I’m watching old episodes of ER & in the first episode season 3 (1997) I spotted Sharon’s mom Doris! I knew it was her right away. I double checked on IMDB & yup I was right. Just wanted to share that little tidbit. I’m 2 wks behind on Y&R but loving the show right now. The only thing I’m not enjoying is Billy attitude & Adam trying to getting under Sharon’s skin. I thought Adam gave up on that.
Welcome PHYLLIS APPRECIATION DAY
I know she’s hubristic but I absolutely love her. When we get the rare glimpse of her softer side and vulnerability underneath all that bravado it hits me in the feels. She is flawed and aware of that fact and Michelle Stafford portrays that awareness so perfectly. She brings to life how Phyllis’ past nasty deeds that hurt the ones she truly cares for haunt her, this subtle, but there. Phyllis going full throttle for her inner circle is a form of atonement for old misdeeds and pain caused by her old ways.
Rey is getting on the stick. If he can save Mariah it is just as good as Adam saving Faith.
Except there’d be no self-sacrifice from Rey. He’d be just doing his job (imagine that).
Didn’t Shiela Carter transform herself into Lauren Fenmore way back? OK, that makes sense but how come she’s back looking like her original self on B&B? I don’t think it’s possible to turn the clock back on a total transformation where you are back to your #1. This is so way over the top and the kind of thing that has viewers like Henry switching the dial…
Oh yes. Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) HATED Lauren over a doctor Scott, stole Lauren’s baby, dated the adult Scotty, etc. Somewhere Sheila transformed herself to look like Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), Lauren’s best friend to get close to her. Storyline went on, ended that Lauren had a gun pointed at two Michelle Stafford faces, one Phyllis, and one Sheila. She shot, and it was revealed she killed Sheila. Then Phyllis was Gina Tognoni. And Sheila was back on B&B at the same time, and I wondered if she would look like KB, MS, or GT. Way too confusing for me. Now Phyllis… Read more »
There is an easy explanation for this. Sheila Carter must have had a twin who is currently impersonating her.

The pool! Summer’s gone but summer is not over
Once again a pool l is mentioned, but is never seen. Y&R needs to invest in a fun outdoor set other than the park.
They’re actually swimming and dangling their feet in the pool over on GH.
Best swimsuit figures: Lauren, Sharon, Summer, Lily and Phyllis. Which guys would the women prefer? I know who would be Ali’s pick.
A soap opera swimming pool is fun as they build these beautiful blue sparkling tanks with jazzy tile around the edge where you just see the corner of it to dip your feet in. Hit the bright lights and more inticing than the real thing with algae!
Do the Abbott’s truly see Billy as a family member? He seems so alien to them. Also, nice to see Amanda so happy and excited about her life in talking with Phyllis on the Thursday show. This is known as inner peace for the immediate moment. Looking radiant.

It seems that Hunter King and Micheal Mealor are not actually/completely leaving Y&R, they have just been railigated to recurring status.

Lightbulb day for me. I haven’t liked Sally yet, mostly because she didn’t seem to fit. I don’t like this Adam because he doesn’t fit into the Adam mold we were used to, and they keep trying to fit him in. I DO think I would like to see Adam and Sally together, scheming, then romantically? They have both been schemers, and I can see each of them look at the other and nodding admiringly.
Are the writers actually trying to provoke me???? Phyllis appreciation day? Nikki taking a turn at being totally obnoxious to Sally? And, worst of all, Rey’s very first instinct is to think that ADAM would kidnap Sharon’s pregnant daughter????? No, no, no. Big HUGE no to these previews for next week!
Rest assured. Whenever they plan a celebratory event something is sure to go awry.
Nikki seems to be in the habit of threatening people. She deserves a comeuppance.
Excuse Me. When did Sharon have any suspicion that Mariah was in trouble. It was only Tessa ring the alarm bells. And Sharon would shut her down. I see where this is going and I really don’t like it. So, on the day that it is verbalized that Mariah maybe in trouble. There is no Devon and Tessa around. And to add insult to injury to Teriah Fans. I am assuming that the charges were filed in the United States and, as a result, are not applicable in Canada. If Tessa is being tracked by the authorities they have no jurisdiction to arrest anyone in Canada.
Zoperxplex, Crystal is a fugitive. Still wanted by the GCPD. The reason Tessa, has not seen, spoken to or spoken of her in 3 years. Now out of the blue she visits her. But, since Crystal is in Canada, she could be arrested by the Canadian Police and extradited back to the United States. Because she committed a crime that is a felony in both countries. It doesn’t appear that the RCMP has made arresting a Canadian citizen who killed a sex trafficker in the defense of two innocent civilians a priority.
Well actually she is not a Canadian citizen. She is there illegally, with a fake name. But you are right this is not a priority. And thanks for making me laugh. 🙂
It is really annoying that Tessa isn’t there to finally see a real investigation begin. Then again, Rey is off and running in the wrong direction because his obsession with Adam gets in the way yet again? Really Rey? Get a grip and stop assuming all roads lead to Adam.
Finally they are letting Rey start an investigation. After everyone is exhausted by this storyline. Okay, well, maybe there will be some ACTION next week. Or premature labor.

Exhausted is the perfect word. Sooooo boring -scene after excrutiating scene w/ anyone/everyone talking in circles re: the missing Mariah. “Captive Mariah” scenes are no better.
