About the New Newman Media Launch Party: I loved all the dressess , all appearences although Chloe and Vicki could appear it would spice things up even more (I can imagine). Still good drama/comedy spectacle XD. The cat fight – so soapy typical , still enjoyable. About Adam and Sally: At first I though “meh” but then little by little , especially when seeing them interacting with eachother and the past “throwing an ice bucket on Sally’s head and fight with Phyllis” situation -the scene in the hotel room … Wow I think there might be a potetial with this… Read more »

This is long overdue, but I’ve come to the conclusion that the self-renamed Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor might be the most status-oriented character on the show. She’s already a billionaire, and everyone already knows who she is; must it be rubbed in everyone’s faces all the time? During her short term years, she constantly complained about the pressure of being a Newman and a Abbott, but now that’s all forgotten to the point that she wants to saddle her son with all the names and the expectations that comes with them? I look forward to seeing the blanket being SORASed a few… Read more »

Y & R is confusing me!!! I can’t tell if I’m THAT into Adam and Sally’s passionate kiss or if I’m just so willing to see any passion on Y&R because it’s been too long to have not had any!! I feel I was equally excited to have seen Billy and Lilly’s first post covid scenes…as I was with Nick and Phyllis but…that being said…I’m still down for Adam makin’ out with anyone!!!! Yum! 🙂
Victor mentioned there were people from Toronto at the launch party. Too bad we don’t get to see the guests that are in the ballroom, just the regular characters of G.C

Speak of the devils: Nina & Ashley return! It was so wrong, character wise, for Nina to have been written out for those few weeks at the height of the kidnap panic.
Phyllis has really got Nick trained well so that he thinks Sally was the chief instigator at the Newman ball where we finally got to see the brown curtin in the grand ballroom –

Oh, that hard as a rock hunk of salami baby raped in a blanket is so outrageous. On an I LOVE LUCY episode the Ricardos are returning from a trip to Europe. Lucy’s mother wants this imported cheese brought back to her in the states but the product is not able to go through customs so Lucy wraps the cheese up in a blanket and tries to pass it off as her baby on the airplane. This is the exact same thing. Get the stock fotage of a baby’s head, will you?
No kidding! Considering Ashley’s breakdown after baby Robert’s passing and how she latched onto a blanket for comfort, watching her daughter first deliver a towel, then coo at a blanket is more ironic than it should be.
Gotta say the non-visible baby doesn’t bother me so much? I guess because the cast seems so sweet and natural w/that prop it seems believable to me… much more so than, oh idk, slinging around pretend-filled coffee cups at Crimson Lights, lol.
Gary I get you…so funny. And I have a real life parallel story about the cheese, not the baby. This was back in the day at the airport “Miss do you have anything to claim at customs, any fresh food or liquor? Me: “no your honor”. I must have looked really guilty because they opened my carry on to discover a giant ball of provolone and a huge salami.
Also, you should know that when the stewardess warden looked into the hunk of cheese (salami) she asked Lucy, “What’s your baby’s name?” “Cheddar”, said Lucy. “I mean CHESTER!”
Sooooo, these reasonably intelligent human beings knew they needed legal agreements regarding the surrogacy. But no one realized they needed significant emotional preparation (if not psychological therapy) to prepare for the birth of the baby and how they would all feel going forward? Duh???? It seems more thought went into Mariah’s protein bars than her profound feelings of connection (and then understandable loss) regarding Dominic. And Abby was bound to be sad all over again about not being able able to give birth herself and nurse the baby, etc. Then there’s Devon subbing in for the totally absent (aka dead… Read more »
You know the sayings, “hope springs eternal” and “keep hope alive”. Mariah may not go dark, but she is about to get very, very anger. Remember when the character David Banner, said to Mr. Mcgee, on The Incredible Hulk. “You won’t like me when I am angry”. And of course all that angry will be directed at Tessa. But if we recall Tessa tried to get Mariah to seek therapy through the pregnancy, along with the attorney Britney Hodges. But Mariah refused.
This seems to be the never ending baby saga storyline.
Is it too much to hope that after a mourning period this will lead to a splashy wedding and a baby for Teriah? Let them start their own family and be a status couple for the next generation in GC. Kyle and Summer are boring to me, but Tessa and Mariah could be truly compelling for future storylines.
Unfortunately, while JG, is the head writer. There will never be anything compelling for Tessa and Mariah. It will always be about Mariah been involved with other people’s lives and Tessa on the sidelines. That is until he finally gets his wish to write Tessa out all together. Which was his original plan, when he sent her on tour and Mariah cheated on her. When Tessa walked out of the apartment after catching Mariah with another woman, that was originally suppose to be her last scene. So, I don’t see any happiness for this couple. If anything, it is about… Read more »

Feelings are OK Devon. Everyone has them. You need to get over yours.
Also, Amanda Sinclair is a red blooded American woman and is not going to put up with you mooning over Dominic’s baby book forever. Get a life.

Ok, so I was team Phyllis when it came to her VS Tara and Sally but now the constant ragging on Sally is getting old for me. I’m still not the biggest Sally fan, but I am ready to see something different with her than just being the town pariah whom everyone tells off every time they see her.

That baby needs to go home, I know he was premie, but not by much, and he’s not in an incubator, so he should be home by now.
Oh, and Mariah should be too, both of my babies and myself were out of the hospital the day after birth, but then we wouldn’t have these scenes with Mariah bonding with the baby and Abby starting to notice, the beginning of that story.
I have not given birth but I do know absolutely everyone who has been cut open from surgery or not goes home from the operation that verty day! In modern times…
Lesley, It has only been one day since the baby was born. By the time the baby and Mariah leave the hospital. Monday’s episode in the US, it will only be two days after the birth. I think that is pretty fast.

I know she’s obnoxious, but she just tickles me. When Phyllis leaned in close to Nate and asked him he and Elena were into….wink wink, I busted out laughing. That delightfully awkward interaction was a treat for me. I love that Phyllis just ended it by telling him not to worry, she’ll set something wonderful up for them. The look on her face was priceless, it said it all……,don’t stress Dr. Dull in the sack, sexy vixen Phyllis will take the reigns.
I must acknowledge and correct my typo….what he and Elena were into.

That’s it? This was a rather deflating episode for a Friday particularly when one compares it to the fireworks on Thursday.
In the previews Jack shows remorse about breaking up with Phyllis. Sorry Jack, if you weren’t so sanctimonious over Phyllis’s one night stand with Nick you wouldn’t be such a tired, old, shriveled up prune. You have become a laughing stock just like Billy.
I don’t want to see another reunion of Jack and Phyllis. I don’t remember ever being the biggest fan of them in the past. I like Nick and Phyllis and would prefer them to give Jack another love interest.
I’m not crazy about a Phack reunion either, but it COULD be interesting to see Nick as the insecure one this time around. He enjoyed years of bouncing back between Phyllis and Sharon at a whim; perhaps now it is time for him to see what it’s like.

One “Chatter” made a prediction some time ago that Sally may be Phyliss’ daughter! That would be EPIC ! WOW–Summer’s sister! I hope that’s where this mutual hatred scenario is headed!
I’m starting to think this rumor may be true… and neither Phyllis nor Sally has a clue. Phyllis’ STILL relentless, crazed animosity for Sally may actually be building to more substantial drama than just sniping or brawls. Yeah, yeah, the Summer thing: but Phyllis wreaked her vengeance and was duly lauded for it. IT’S OVER- what plot purpose is there for Phyllis’ on-going grudge but for some juicy fall-out? I have complete faith that the writers can come up w/ an utterly out-landish way to reveal Phyllis annd Sally as mother and daughter. Is Phyllis harboring the secret that she… Read more »

I feel like the hospital scenes with Tessa, Mariah and Abby must have been out of sequence. I can not see Mariah telling Tessa, that she had hard time letting go of the baby and Tessa just leaving her alone with those thoughts, to go back to the mansion to finish a lullaby. Also when Abby asked Tessa if she believed Mariah was having a hard time and if she said anything to her, Tessa was like, I just think Mariah needs time. There was no show of concern for Mariah at all. Maybe it’s just me, needing better clarity.

Excellent reporting. The baby needs a new blanket.
I wouldn’t cry if Abby never had a day’s peace raising that baby to a man!
Too funny! Good point, who could little D possibly date?!?
A SORASed Dominic is likely to curdle into cottage cheese.

Sandra, you were once wild and free before settling into a respectable life in Connecticut.
“No, your honor”. Everyone is a judge to us.
