I laughed so much when Ali commented about Adam not selecting his meal choice on Victoria and Ashland’s wedding invitation. I just got married last weekend and I know the feeling when you have to follow up on a guests meal selection. It hit close to home lol

Ali you had me cracking up right out the gate when you said “you talking to me?” That may be come a well referenced movie line, but let’s just say it’s pretty close to real life around these parts, lol. I’ll admit one of my sons is Rocco IV, and one is Vincent…and Franco and DeFranco are common last names where I come, talking to me?

Regarding the old characters…some Y&R fans on social media are still angry at Y&R for writing out Paul.

So disrespectful to Doug Davidson! They had Rey investigating his own poisoning—ridiculous.

If you put it that way, it is kind of funny. A detective investigating his own case. So, is Rey our only detective in town!? Fans say he was last seen in November 2020 in Lily’s office. Y&R needs to bring back Doug Davidson!

Ali mentioned that she thinks soap opera viewers are loyal, and she is right with me, it is one of my top strengths, anybody else agree it is a top strength, with Y&R being just one of your loyal points.

I agree with so much that you said today as usual, that probably means most fans do, but it’s still cool. That was what was funny about the RHAP recap, they only had one person who had ever watched, and that was like 15 years ago, so I was like in my haughtiest in my head voice “uhum, you don’t even know what you are talking about” lol. I agree so much about Phyllis and the history with Gina and all, torn because I hated to see Gina leave, who made me love Phyllis and accept her as a GC… Read more »

If Ashland/Bobby took his dead friend’s identity, why was no one able to find HIS birth certificate?

Ali, please explain how you never had any homework in high school. Exactly how many study halls did you have in your schedule??? You did all your assigned reading for all classes, all math & science problems, wrote essays, made progress on term papers, did dreaded group projects, prepped for in-class presentations, etc., etc. before the bell rang???? I think Moses had to be doing at least 50% of your assignments. Either that or I must have been a very inefficient high school student. Or were my teachers just evil???

I think your teachers were just evil. I rarely had homework either. If i had a book report to write, or a Science test to study for I might have put a night or two in, or I could write a book report on the bus lol. My kids, that was a different story by that generation homework became a thing. I am not sure if there is any fact to it, but I feel like homework has increased as a reaction to poor school results and worldwide test comparison, but that it did nothing to teach us any more.… Read more »

Now I really feel tortured! I will out myself by saying I graduated from high school in 1977. We had tons of homework—all kinds. There was no way to finish it at school. My daughter was up to all hours as a 2011 graduate. I think we exhaust high school students these days—classes, sports, clubs, jobs, volunteering—it’s a lot if they try to do it all. Maybe there are regional differences, not sure.

Hmmmm. So the real Ashland Locke had no parents, no siblings, no cousins, no childhood friends, no high school teachers, no one at all who would see the current (quite well-known) version of Ashland Locke and say—that’s not him, he doesn’t look like that? Were Ashland and Bobby interchangeable in terms of looks, voice and mannerisms? Forgive me if this was explained on Thursday or Friday—I had no way to watch the episodes.
