Phylis has the audacity to call the Newman’s names. Unless I’ve been watching the wrong show, I do believe she is just as bad as the names she is placing on Nick’s family. Just saying…
I must have missed the part where Victoria supposedly forgave Billy but not Nick. She seems completely furious with both of them based on the scenes I saw. Amazing how these men think the CEO of Newman Enterprises is too ditzy to run her own life. And of course Billy and Nick are impeccable when it comes to their life choices (not). Honestly, they both expressed their reservations about Ashland, Victoria heard them out many times, and then she made her decision. Now they need to deal with the fact that she is very aggravated about their interference, well-intentioned or… Read more »
You asked for predictions: Jesse Gaines’s bombshell is that Ashland murdered the real Ashland Locke (he did not die accidentally). Jesse Gaines suddenly and mysteriously disappears. Victoria is concern her father may be responsible and is afraid he may have broken the law. Victor exposes Gaines’s documents as a forgery. He threatens to alert the authorities if he doesn’t go away. In the process of being escorted back to the states Gaines manages to free himself from his captors and leaps out of the car only to get run over by on coming traffic. Billy naively uploads Gaines’s video on… Read more »
I have to strenuously disagree with you Ali regarding the question of whether to expose or to not expose the truth behind Ashland Locke. The public has a right to know the truth concerning the rich and powerful who resides amongst us. They hold a disproportionate sway over our destinies and we deserve to know how these people manipulated the system to their benefit, if, indeed, that was the case.
I completely agree with this comment.
What about Gaines the Weasel makes you believe he is telling only the facts on the video he made? If he sticks to his father’s crime of altering a will and that Ashland knew about it AND confesses that The Weasel himself blackmailed Ashland for millions to keep silent about it for decades—sure. But I doubt that’s what the video lays out. The Weasel wants to smear Ashland and act like his father and especially he himself are just unimportant side characters in the story. Sorry Weasel—you’re not the hero here.
There are certain elements of the story that are beyond debate because Ashland has admitted to them, such as the fact that the will was forged and that Ashland’s identity was stolen from his dead friend. In addition to whatever new evidence Gaines is about to present in the video, these are parts of the story Ashland would prefer to remain a secret.
It would have been hard for Nick to not show up at the wedding. Firstly, he was obligated to go to Italy in order to attend Summer’s wedding and, secondly, Phyllis was invited to the ceremony in Tuscany. The event concerned his sister so it would have seen out of place to stay in Milan especially since both his daughter and his son-in-law as well as Phyllis were attending.
