Abby sure found out Kim Dunaway’s phone number lickety split. I found the way Abby contacted Chance’s friend Kim was very old school. No one would call the operator to ask them to look up a phone number first as people don’t usually have landline phones anymore. To be realistic, Abby should have searched for Kim on social media. She could use her phone to do that.
I think it is awesome Ali that you are into the Harlequin Romance novels. I used to love them as a young teen as they are for all ages. The cover of the book is always enticing as well as the titles. I can’t remember if you had said you used to read them before, but I am glad you have discovered your love of these books!
I was happy to see Phyllis talking with Lauren about her relationship with Jack. We always see Phyllis confiding in Amanda and never Lauren. It is nice Y&R rekindling their relationship. I prefer Phyllis being best friends with Lauren more than Amanda. I think it’s because Amanda’s character can be too soft spoken sometimes and not as fun as Phyllis’s relationship with Lauren.
It’s interesting how anyone can just wander into the ranch. Billy just walked in. I think he said he passed by the security. What kind of security is there anyway. Big mansions often have gates. If Victor doesn’t have one, he should really think about getting one.
In addition to Victor telling Billy to let himself out! Who would leave Billy alone at the ranch?
I don’t understand why Abby is keeping it a secret that Chance is apparently still alive? Why not tell your mother what you have learned? It would be ridiculous for her family to deny Abby from going to Spain. Why would they not want Abby to find out if Chance is really alive? Why not believe the news from his old friend. Even if there is a chance this update from his friend is false, it would not make any sense not to investigate and find out the truth. I think Chance might not be where Abby is going but she may still be first one to find him alive.. But she should have told Victor at least. He could keep her safe. She shouldn’t be doing this alone
Billy’s attempts to be noble and rationale are really too little too late. I hate that Lily is trapped in his dysfunction

I’m sure the situation will turn to Billy’s favor before too long. The war between him and Victor will never end just like Jack and victor.
Mariah needs to get over herself. I just need her to realize Abby is doing the best she can. For God sakes Abby’s hubby is presumed dead so if she needs time and feels like Dominic save with Devon who is Mariah to judge.
Mariah is too obsessed with wanting to mother Dominic. She needs therapy and not with Sharon her mother. Abby was right not to give Dominic to her. Maybe all this will change when Chance gets back, Unless Devon or Mariah sue for custody.
E.Davidson is so gorgeous, but sorry, her hair extensions were awkwardly obvious this week…
So confused by what can be done with hair these days. E Davidson has thick hair and it looked normal to me, but of course she was wearing them. I don’t like it when the rich & famous put on a show and one day they have long hair and the next day it is short. Then there is medium length bob Fridays. Red, yellow, green and blue. I am seeking stability in my life and I wish these women would help me along… But of course my problem, not theirs. Viva hair.
I have to respectfully disagree with you Sue. I really liked Ashley’s hair this week! I think she really suits the very blonde and longer hair. I think Ashley looked like a hot older woman. The extensions with that colour make her look younger.
Hey Dianna- I absolutely agree w/you that Ashley looked hot (she always does!), and I too, did like both her hair color and style. Noticing the extensions themselves as being extensions was what bothered me. (I don’t normally look for that sort of thing and prefer to just blissfully live in the illusions- Fall tulips, bread-baby, and all, lol!) Nothing but love here for the ever-lovely Ashley.
Oh yeah, now I see. Billy’s gonna be vindicated when Victorand Adam’s allegiance dizzingly drops from Ashland…
Maybe I’m just slow on the uptake.. here I’m lulled into enjoying an introspective Adam who’s re-building his character, but I’m suddenly shoved into buying him as a formidable power player in the business world, who, oh OK, can deftly parlay his personal vendetta into deserved and oh so enjoyed revenge?
Didn’t like the pumpkin color on Phyllis either – ugh, the color itself is not bad, but the outfits/designs YnR are choosing in that palette are beyond dowdy…

The Dowdy Folks Society thank you for your support. But there must be something YR can do in between the extremes of pumpkin dowdy and metallic disco. The look of the show is all over the place. I guess at least the love of all shades of purple is consistent.

About lavender: There has been much talk about this not being Easter and everyone in the shade, but I have noticed beyond Y&R people on TV are wearing pale purple everywhere. I think “lavender” is the color of LGBQ but I don’t think Thanksgiving is Gay Pride month, but then there are so many subdivisions now of every movement perhaps we are celebrating a new liberation awakening or challenge . CNN is currently presenting, “The Lavender Scare”. Well, lavender does scare me. Unless its April.
It does seem Mariah is more lucid these days- more and more all the time. She may actually be a force to be reckoned with in what seems to be an unavoidable, looming, and probably very ugly Dominic custody battle… nooooooooo! Omg, anything regarding parenting w/ all its emotions is the worst- I’ll be a blubbering mess. Can’t we stick to adultery and business intrigue??
I was really surprised how well she took the news that Dominic is now living with Moses. In fact she was self effacing about it, considering that she had made the village uncomfortable with her over-protectiveness concerning Dom. I though she would completely go off the spool when in fact she did not.
Mariah wasn’t upset that Abby gave her baby to Devon, she was upset she didn’t even consider giving him to her.
Is it me or does Billy have amnesia? He is pushing this narrative that the article was to protect his company from Victor and Adam but he forgets that he started this whole thing when he published the expose on Adam. He couldn’t leave well enough alone and now he’s convinced himself that he’s done nothing wrong and that everything he’s done has been an effort to protect his company and Victoria.
PREACH!!! Exactly. He weaponized ChanceComm from the beginning with his hatchet job about Adam—which Adam did not respond to in kind. Adam could have published an article about Billy Boy Abbott: Irresponsible Parent and Gambling Addict—but he didn’t. He never throws it back at Billy Boy the way he deserves. I would.
Billy totally did all of this for Victoria. he is still in love with her and always will be.
Sweet! We got to wrap up the week with the promise of some rescue adventures in Spain and a voiceover from New Chance.
People would think Abby doesn’t have a brain in her head the way they are setting up posses to go follow her.
