TOUGH choice. I want to think Tessa and Mariah should stick together through good AND bad, but well, bottom line, they’re not married, so… let the obstacles prove too much? Tessa and Noah clearly spark together, but I’d love to see this new guy I’m still lovin’ slow-burn into a brand-new romance, not re-hash an old one in all its baggage. (Although, there may be more to his leaving Europe/failed love story yet to play out.) Maybe I don’t remember correctly, but I didn’t think N+T had once had a “great romance”? Yeah, Idk about all the behind the scenes stuff, but I do remember Tessa’s being gay as part of the break-up. For whatever reason, the whole relationship just isn’t memorable to me; I barely recall it as ultimately any more than a sweet dalliance, kind of like Abby and Arturo (just one example off the top of my head) came to realize they had had.
Here is the problem with there ever being a romantic relationship between Tessa and Noah. Tessa told Mariah that she never loved Noah and was only using him for his money. Frankly, I never believed that statement. I just re-watched this storyline last week and I really do feel Tessa cared very much for Noah. However, Mal Young had always wanted to do so a same sex storyline and when he saw the chemistry between Cait Fairbanks(Tessa) and Camryn Grimes(Mariah)-he went for it. I voted for Tessa and Noah, but I have an ulterior motive. Here is what I would love to see happen with the Dominic storyline: Abby stays away for a long time before she and Chance return home. While they are gone, Devon bonds with Dominic. He allows Mariah to spend time with him and the baby, and they bond as the Baby’s birth parents. When Abby and Chance return home, Devon and Mariah get married to improve their chances of getting custody against Abby and Chance, and they get involved in a nasty custody battle. I also voted for Tessa and Noah. I think he is a good friend to her and she needs someone to talk to because Mariah is obsessed about having a baby and she isn’t listening to Tessa at all. Maybe Noah can help
Noah and Tessa being good friends is fine. You are correct, Tessa needs a friend to talk too. But that is all he should be.
Devon and Mariah-Been there done that. The reason she left him was because she fell in love with Tessa.
