Faith (2.0) is great!!! The actress seems real, and capable of handling whatever’s thrown at her. I’m so ok w/moving on from A.A.Lind -it was time. I hope we get more and more “new Faith.” (Lol, when will she not be “new Faith”?) Moses? Eh… super-cuuuuute, but needs some realistic dialogue/presentation. It’s 2022! Teens don’t “court the`object of their affection.” It’s a dreamy portrayal, but c’mon… modern high school life is a constant swirl of emotion. In honor of the iconic Betty White’s recent passing, I wanted to post this video of Betty White on the Bold and the Beautiful. I had no idea she was on this show, as I found out on facebook. She played Stephanie and Pamela Forrester’s mother named Ann Douglas for 23 episodes. How lucky of them to have such a great actress guest star on the show.
Sally has been continually portrayed as ridiculous and non-relevant since she arrived in GC. I’ve come to really like the actress, and hope she becomes integral in a major story of her own. Thus far, she’s been relegated to secondary status and consideration. I want Sally to become firmly entrenched in GC, as she the character wants as well! Great potential there… C.Hope is rarin’ to go: let’s up her position in GC w/some real staying power.

I really disliked Amanda’s royal blue dress she was wearing. Love the colour but the style looked ridiculous. Her dress had way too much material! It looked like she was wearing a cape. Her dress made you want to rip off all of that unnecessary material on her shoulders. As Ali mentioned, puffy sleeves is the new style on the show but it definitely didn’t suit this dress.
Yeah, kinda pretentious… Amanda is soooo gorgeous – I wish her outfits were secondary to her flair. Sometimes the outfits complement her beauty, but too often (for many characters, not only her) the clothes take center stage over her presence. I love fashion! but only when it enhances the wearer, not the other way ’round.
Yes, I have heard that you are supposed to wear the dress. The dress is not supposed to wear you. When I first started watching soaps Audrey on General Hospital had like 3 dresses outside of her nurses uniform. When characters were real over glamorous.
You and Sue are both on point with that saying. It’s the perfect analogy of that dress.
What’s with all those Lauren Fenmore cut outs? Amanda is a ruthless business woman with an eye for snatching babies in court. Get corporate. When Amanda showed up in that blue dress because it is plain I didn’t think anyone would think it was unflattering but me. I guess you’re right that it had too much material and looked very heavy on her. Heavy plot. Heavy dress.
M. Ordway is so adorable w/baby Dom. Clearly she adores babies, and it shows in how she relates w/them on-screen. I know she is a mother in real life, and that translates sweetly and naturally on-screen. M.Ordway is a great actress who I think’s been underrated, prob due to the airhead nature of her character. I’m surprised her story has her going past “superficial, spoiled Abby,” and I’m really glad to see her get some depth to showcase her skill. I’m a fan.

It was a bit ago w/”St.Nick,” but I remember Nick’s “dream” visit w/Cassie throwing me a bit that she had matured in his dream. I guess from my perspective, her memory would remain at the age when she died… Idr, has a grown-up Cassie spirit appeared before? Maybe I’ve forgotten that… obviously, of course, if C.Grimes is going to film new Cassie scenes, then Cassie has to present older than she was at the time of her death… I just found it a bit unsettling.
Oh… SO DISAPPOINTED in Devon going after Dom… it seems very out of character for the level-headed, kind man Devon has been. (Forget poaching Hilary from Neil ‘cuz Devon’s not that man anymore, lol.) He’s been a stand-up guy and solid friend to Abby… until now. Well. I don’t attribute his reversal to “poor” or “not honoring the history” writing, rather I see it as true to life in never FULLY knowing another or how they may react in any given situation. What makes Devon anymore entitled to Dominic than Mariah was. It make me very disappointed that everyone attacked Mariah for wanting to be with the baby, yet Devon is somehow sticking to his conviction. Give me a break. He is actually being more selfish and calculating. Mariah was all about emotional feelings.
Give the baby to Mariah!
Devon’s decision to take legal action was the only exciting thing that happened this week! I can’t wait to see it play out. Now if only Mariah would join in!

Okay….. please let Becky be a total nut and cause a ruckus in GC. Also, when my girl Phyllis said she understands how it feels to be so angry that you just need to hit someone with your car…….I almost spit my coffee out. I love her and I love her self awareness of how crazy and crappy she used to be. Makes her reformed baddie status more endearing, to me at least.
Oh yeah, for sure: Phyllis is so awesome, isn’t she!? No one else could milk the heck out of the word “croissant” (like all words!) the way she did! Lol, loooooove M.Stafford! She’s a gem: scene-stealing, annoying, insufferable… and 101% entertaining. I’ve said it before: she’s prob my favorite character. Not sure what she does best… comedy, drama, or peripheral anything… she’s just perfection. Mad props always from me for “your girl Phyllis!”
What’s up with Phyllis’ wacky lawsuit? Was there a point to it? Will Becky appear or is she off stage comedy? I wouldn’t put it past Y&R to have just made it up to kill time. The Perrils of Phyllis. SueW really gets Phyllis. (see below)

Oh I hope not. He was not a very good version of Billy. The only recast for Billy that I will accept is Billy Miller.
