I agree that outside of Dom’s story. Y&R is a decent show for me. This Billy storyline reminds me of when Bill Bell used to have these stories with long monologues and such ALL the time. same with Ashland I love how they had him play this long con for nearly an entire year, making everyone think he’s this nice reformed terminally ill man when he’s been plotting ever since Victor made him sign over Cyaxares while having a heart attack last summer.

YIKES. Okay, I am totally creeped out. Admittedly, I’m often late to the party and therefore things totally escape my notice or go over my head… but, just finished Friday’s episode and am weirded out by what I saw in Victoria’s office as she and Ashland were talking (rather, when A. was beseeching for a title up-grade.) There was some ghostly Chewbacca-type, ancient mariner-looking specter thing (statue? painting? figment of my imagination?) lurking near the wall between V.’s portrait and the door. Ok, Allie, you asked for it and I will need you to protect me from any hate directed towards me for saying this but I am not on board with Adam and Sally. The main reason is because of the writing of the Sally character. This is not the Sally that I fell in love with when she was introduced on Bold. But I think Sally does the most amazing job of laying her needy cards on the table in confronting biggies like Victoria & Victor. I watch her stand up to them in conversation and match everything they have to say to where they must be inwardly wowed by her. I relate to what you are saying but I think she is becoming more formidable now. Becoming Adam’s girlfriend is going to change a lot for her and allow her to come to the table of Genoa City. Well, I am relieved. First, you’re so right. Of course Keemo is alive! No body, not dead. Phew! Also, very glad that any interruption in your YR Chat routine seems to disrupt your life. I do worry that YR Chat will interfere too much with your real life and you’ll need to move on from this project. You provide such a wonderful space for our YR community.
