I actually really liked the judge on this case. I think he was fair yet firm. He didn’t seem to have been bribed by Victor Newman. The judge just seemed like a really good guy.
Okay I was very impressed with Victoria! That scene of her throwing Travis out, I felt her emotions. Even though I seriously want her and Travis to work out, it doesn’t seem that’s the route we are headed. Which brings me to my next point: Billy’s magic. I have my reservations on Billy Abbott but I will give him some credit. The way he can get what he wants from the women in his life amazes me. I was thinking the judge would ask for a DNA test for record. It would be warranted for a strange case like this. Otherwise he is just accepting everyone’s word that the kid actually belongs to Nick.

That would have opened a whole new can of worms in this messy story. This whole thing is just exhausting to watch.
I’m thinking everyone is only going off the word of Patty that this is Sage’s child. Other than the nurse that helped Dr. Anderson, where is the verification that this is actually the child of Sage? Even Sharon does not know for sure. She only knows the child is not hers because of the DNA test she had done. Of course, we the viewers know, but for the judge to be thorough, he should have ordered a DNA test.
I am sure the reappearance of Lea has something to do with Hilary trying to blackmail Mariah into confessing the truth behind her participation in the kidnapping. What other reason would she be there?
The judge ruled in favor of a temporary restraining order but emphasized that it is temporary. Ruling notwithstanding, no clarification was given by what he defined as “temporary”, if it is determined by previous sentences handed out in this jurisdiction that could be as little as one week. Given the equanimity characterizing this ruling I guess that meant that Victor did not bribe the judge after all.
Devon and Hillary’s relationship is exhausting to watch. I feel like Devon is always chasing after Hillary but can barely keep up, like a dog walker being dragged along by the dog. I see no romance and I want a lot more for Devon and in a relationship where he can shine!! I like Devon and want to see him with someone new.

Today in the courtroom I could’ve sworn it was Nick talking but it sounded a lot like Victor. I literally was taken aback when he questioned whether Dylan knew abt the secret the whole time. Victor definitely got into his head. I mean I know Nick is upset abt Sharon seeing Christian but I don’t understand why Dylan didn’t defend himself and tell Nick that he didn’t know anything abt it until that morning, the morning of the hearing. I really hope that Nick can at least find some compassion for Dylan.
I find that it is disgusting that Dylan and Sharon are fighting over Christian to keep them in their lives. I mean it is Nicks/Adams son, I hope it is not to late for Nick to follow up on those kidnapping charges because why should Sharon and Dylan deserve to have custody over Christian? And then at the very end they will they will just keep chipping away acting like they are the victims until they got full custody of Christian, it is sick. I feel Nick would want to give Dylan visitation if it was just him. But it’s having Sharon there that makes him not want to give any visitation. And I understand why Nick still feel anger towards Sharon, not something to get over that easily. But I agree with you if roles were reversed! I remember it being mentioned earlier that Faith was switched at birth and given to Ashley. If Sharon had to give visitation to Ashley I don’t think she happy about that.
I don’t know…it seems like Dylan is standing by Sharon by not excluding her from the lawsuit. It’s just, there doesn’t appear to be a closeness between the two of them anymore. The way Sharon is talking to him, like when she said “he speaks” at the breakfast table, that was very sarcastic; it’s as though she stopped trying. My guess is that Sharon is using Dylan to help her case against Nick, and that if Dylan pulled out of the lawsuit or changed his mind, the marriage would be over.
My friend Ali, get some rest! We will all be here when you get back! On Nick and Chelsea, I am open to that idea, under one circumstance: Chelsea tells him the truth before things get too serious with him, and based on his reaction, we’ll see how they work out.
Hi Ali, i’m totally with you on the whole Billy not telling Victoria the truth thing. I don’t see why the heck he’s not telling her the truth, she is the mother of his children and he obviously seems like he doesn’t think travis is right for Victoria. I also think billy definitely should tell her the truth because since he has children with her it is his place. I agree that Jill handing out brash and sassy makeup samples to homeless people was so hilarious lmao. They came their for a warm meal not makeup and perfume lol.
I agree too! He was so ready to tell Victoria and go at, at Travis but then Ashley claimed him down not to do that. So with a little talk from Ashley he all of sudden changes his mind. It seems like he doesn’t want Victoria to marry Travis but wants her to figure it out on her own. So maybe if she doesn’t by time if wedding then, right before wedding Billy comes out and tells the truth. Or even better Michelle comes back to town to stop the wedding… that be even more juicy!
Hey TNICOLE I am just watching Y&R right now and Billy told her the truth at the courthouse because the Christian hearing was going on. I thought they would have a big blowup and the wedding but They took a much more calm route. However im so happy we didn’t have to wait so long for her to find out
I am happy it came out too. I wonder if they will stay together or this is it or if Michelle will come back. Can’t wait to see how it plays out…..

Oh, Nick and Chelsea are sort of snooze inducing. Not excited about yet another Villy relationship attempt. And will miss Steve Burton terribly. Hadn’t thought about a recast until you mentioned it.

The new writers work will air on December 7. So it looks like if the next Ali YR Chat could be about the new writers episodes. In a way this is a good time for new writers to begin airing episodes since most other TV shows are winding down and viewers will have until January to examine the episodes. It is also the “polar vortex” when many viewers are more likely to stay indoors and watch more of their shows. February sweeps will be the challenge but they will have 2 months to get their stories in full swing.
