Hmmmmm. So our Ali was 15 in 1995? Why does she look 25 now? And why has she always looked 25? Even parenthood hasn’t aged her. This is the REAL YR mystery Jack should be solving out in LA. It could lead to a breakthrough product for Jabot.
Ellen, I Love This. :).
Because she only turns another year every 4 years, that’s why
At some point Chats will turn Ali’s hair to gray whereupon she will go a la natural.
Eventually it will be all our fault! Ali will suddenly be a silver fox (vixen) like Michael Baldwin once we finally put her over the edge! Her devotion to YR Chat and our ongoing needs will take a toll. It’s not like she’s Billy Boy, just riffing about rich boy problems as a lark. Ali is a one woman operation. But for now, she’s forever 25 somehow.
I’m a big fan of flashback scenes, even during the covid hiatus it was a treat to get throwback episodes from the 1990’s. We got to see Luan in one classic episode they aired of Cricket’s bridal shower. At least I thought that was Luan talking about her restaurant and blushing about the lingerie gifts.
I like flashbacks too, reminds me of storylines long gone. I wonder how the actors feel when they see themselves so young?
Being actors in the public eye they are likely never very far away from their visual younger selves. Everybody is documented in so many different ways…. But who am I, really?
Yes, that was Luan at Cricket’s Bridal Shower. They were great friends. It was her and Paul that went found Keemo for Luan.
A Laun flashback is so much more interesting and far away than the usual replay of Victor/Nikki, Jack, etc.
Ali’s right, there is a “Sea of Junk” out there, nothing even comes close to this board.
So true! YR Chat is an oasis! We can be honest about things we are not crazy about, but we are here because we are fans of the show. Ali sets a great example: Maintain your sense of humor people! It’s a soap opera! The other message boards on the web are so negative. Ali is very good at weeding out the pure negativity so we don’t have to see it here.
Unless CEO is constantly weeding out as she says she has to do, it is a marvel CHAT has accumulated and attracted this group of nice WELL SPOKEN participants. Like attracks like? I do wonder if people do not look in and rise to the level of what they see? I don’t want to get too sappy with Ali to where she might get a big head but as to this TV show itself (is this what you call a podcast?) a LOT of WORK and PROFESSIONALISM is put in. So much time, love, effort. I do remember Ali took… Read more »
Ali barely took a break when Ali Jr came along! Amazing commitment—and no income even to compensate for expenses. We are very lucky.
This show should be listed on Apple’s charts under the comedy section this week, because I outright laughed throughout, great show again this week!
Lesley, So Did I. The Chat is my start off to the work week.
I always get some great laughs! It’s a highlight of my week for sure.
