Wow, Here go Sally again – trying to make herself important by blabbing to Lauren about what Victor is doing. Girl!!! When are you gonna learn!!!!! I hope Lauren reports back to Victor that it was Sally;s big mouth she heard it from. Again, this why I cannot get behind a Sally and Adam pairing – Adam does not need this kind of recklessness in his life – not after AL the strides he has made to rehabilitate his behavior.
I think Sally was trying to get on Lauren’s good side but she didn’t know what victor said to lauren so she should have kept quiet
I have to admit that all this rallying to protect dimwitted Victoria is making this business storyline loose ALL of its importance, credibility, and momentum. Her hurt feelings ARE NOTHING compared to what and who Victor would destroy to hold onto and keep his legacy how and where he wants it – so its time that we see this side of Victor. I know Victor doesn’t want anyone to hurt his family but HIMSELF but the Victor we have known for years would not hesitate to deal not only with Ashland but with his own wayward daughter Victoria.
Victor lets Victoria get away with alot, but after this long con by Ashland he may want to take the CEO position back himself when he gets Newman back or give the position to Adam but i think Victoria’s reign as CEO will be over
I am applying for the part time job at Newman as the lucky person who gets to paint the clothes on the new COO of Newman Media. It takes about 3 hours a day. I thought it would be a just for a couple days of week – but it looks like its going to be a five day a week gig cause every outfit has to be painted on. That flesh striped dress Sally had on the other day was really something. Was a bit much for business attire lol
Sally & Adam had been making googly eyes at each other for 6 months then we had 2 loves scenes, 2 kisses and nothing since. Billy & Lilly get way more romance than Sally & Adam. Nate & Elaina, Rey & Sharon get nothing. What I saying is I want more romance on the show instead of repetitive dialogue (baby Dom/Chance). More dates. Slow dancing. I feel like they don’t even show couples dating anymore. Ok had to get that off my chest.
After watching some classic episodes and seeing that Mari Jo Mason was once involved with Keemo, I decided to do some research on her character. I remember her character well, but unfortunately I don’t think I saw all of her time on the show. After watching a classic clip (the one I have posted) I read how Mary Jo had paid a prostitute to sleep with Keemo to make him think he had slept with Mary Jo. Thank you for the research! I’m always too lazy to do much digging around in the archives. This all sounds vaguely familiar. I hope the show airs flashbacks from the original story so we can bond with Mary Jo if they are bringing her back for Jack’s big full circle romance. We also need to see Philip Moon as Keemo on our TV—it’s crazy that we have this Keemo storyline and no actual sightings of Keemo. Christine was involved with him for a bit, there are other characters who remember him. Give us some Keemo already.
Yes I hope we get many flashbacks from his time on the show as it will be much needed for everyone. I would especially love to watch Mary Jo flashbacks, as I loved her character. Ali described her as a sexy vixen. That is a great description. . She was a lot of fun on the show. I didn’t know Christine was involved with him. That would be interesting to see also.

I thought this was a good flashback as it shows Paul and Christine in Vietnam looking for Keemo. It appears they really filmed this in Vietnam, as the show used to film off location often. I enjoyed this clip as I don’t believe I had ever seen it before.
Sigh. those were the days – I also loved when Bold used to film in Italy – such gorgeous scenery!
I am on vacation this week for March Break. Yay! My apologies for being late in the chat. It is my first time going away for March Break, although I am not too far from home. Agreed, I am Stil #Team Ashland but he better return Michael from wherever he is hiding him and he better not do ANYTHING to Ally’s beloved Nate! Also Ashland’s lazy ass is paying off doctors but he can’t get someone to give him fake chemotherapy!!!
Sally asking Sharon her thoughts on Adam, is like asking a cat if you’d like catnip. Sharon’s boundaries for their conversation would not lead to many answers. First, she won’t talk about Adam’s accomplishments or defeats. Second, she won’t discuss anything from her past with Adam. Therefore, Sally is not getting much for the cost of a cup of coffee. To add some drama, Sharon could have thrown her past relationship in Sally’s face by making another request. She could have asked her to call Adam and find out Sharon’s favorite drink order. I believe Carmine was someone Lauren had an affair with. Other chatters might be able to help me with my memory…Something about Carmine putting someone in the trunk of a car. He wasn’t a great guy.
He put Abby in his trunk. I don’t remember why. He and Abby dated for a short time.

Maybe I’m too in my head from Chatters past pushings of a Gloria and Jack relationship, but I had the crazy notion it could be a bored Gloria meddling in Jack’s life and finding Allie. Idk about a wedding ring, though.
I’m always happy when Gloria comes back. They just never have the sense to keep her around.
Some people are dimwitted enough to put a bull’s eye on their back – but here comes Sally drawing a sigh bright one in the middle of her forehead. SMH – if this chick gets knocked off I would not be surprised. Love Courtney the actress BUT the character of Sally is rubbish! Why do they keep writing her this way – they need to write her smarter than this!!!
How wonderful. I love Y & R is teasing us with, Is Ashland lying or is he telling the truth? Maybe he does have cancer and his ultimate goal is to divide the Newman family by framing Victor. Ashland might be envisioning he and Victoria at the Palazzo drinking to his success and Victor’s demise.
This story could go so many ways! I hope it keeps twisting and turning and confounding us all!
It bugs me when Chelsea & Chloe are on and Adam has the right to blame Victoria for the family disloyalty if he so chooses, Vic Newman. You do not control his mind or his thinking. Adam will speak.
Careful… telling the great VN he does not control anyone’s mind or thinking may send him into one of his tail-spinning furies!
Ha! You just reminded me of something. Lately I’m following a foreign correspondent on Twitter. He retweeted something from Eric Braeden – not a name I expected in my feed! Eric’s tweet was ALL CAPS and with numerous double!! and triple!!! exclamation points. ( Essentially he was telling Putin where to go.). It was SO Victor Newman in tone and style. I could just see him with a red face, shouting, stabbing his index finger in the air before him. Loved it.
I can visualize Victor as well! Too bad E.Braeden can’t wield the same clout as his on-screen character.
(And to clarify… NOT dissing E.Braeden!)

Adam is just so cogent and on point when he speaks without the Nick Newman snarling while Sally Spectra assumes her rightful position at the executive Newman closed door. But is it really true that Victoria was sympathetic to Adam at the time of the Chelsea Lawson setting him up? That is hard to believe. Everyone, including Adam, seem to hold Victoria in such high reguard dispite her nasty personality. Yeah.. so…ok – Victoria has been indisputably nasty, but her family’s foundation for her is unconditional love. No one wants anyone they TRULY love to be pummeled (figuratively), deceived, and/or humiliated. Simply – Victoria’s family loves her. Period. Would they relish her eating a little deserved ‘humble pie’? Sure!… probably w/hands rubbing together in glee, lol! But, bottom line, she is a beloved daughter and sister w/ties and love running deep enough to override her abysmal choices, personal affronts, and defensive reactions. Victoria IS beloved family daughter/sister, but oh, I wouldn’t like her taking those pot shot/freeze outs at me! You will not find me begging to get back in her good graces. Not me. And if I did, how long could I imagine staying there? Two minutes later, snobbing me out again. No one ever suits the high powered executive for long. Me like very much! Victoria has never given Adam even a scrap of sisterly love: Nick has managed to thaw quite a bit towards Adam, despite their weird competition over the affections of the lovely Sharon. But Victoria seems to know that Victor Adam Newman, Jr is real competition for her in Daddy’s eyes when it comes to business. Nick was never a challenge in that way. I don’t think she will ever love Adam, even a little—unless one of her children needs one of his vital organs.
I really like this comment Gary out how Adam still manages to be sympathetic and caring towards his sister, even after how badly she has treated him. I thought the same thing this week as I watched and listened to Adam talking with his father about Victoria. It really takes a forgiving and special person with a lot of maturity to behave and react the way Adam has towards his sister.
