Before we begin on Sunday I want to say that while a few of us are irriatated that Y&R has now blamed the car crash on Rey to make Victoria look good, is it possible that there is an additional motive in that they actually will bring up the idea that the fit man actually faltered as a reverberation of Chelsea’s poisoning? Y&R has gone to great lengths to show Chelsa is “not that person anymore” so I really don’t think so – but, perhaps some scribe thinks she has it coming for the payback of never having had to… Read more »

I think because Rey had a fatal heart attack, it will be connected with the poisoning by Chelsea which will make her more upset and Sharon will blame her too for Rey’s death

I liked Adam giving Sharon his support the best out of everyone. Was very real and neither cared what everyone else would say or think

Adam and Sally were oh, so earnest as they bonded over their common past ‘dastardly (but understandable! understandable!) deeds.’ Seems that Sally skipped past a few, I guess irrelevant? kidnapping disclosures, though… but what the hey, Adam skipped over a few pesky deets as well! Ah well, let bygones be just that- it’s the GC way. So shouldn’t they (or any of the other many qualified peeps) be offering membership to Ashland in the “Whatev, I Actually AM An Up-standing Person” club? It’s not all that exclusive in GC…

Yes, let’s catalogue all the bad deeds of the Genoa City elite, starting with Victor and Nikki themselves. Their sins are legendary. Practically everyone who sneers at Adam and Sally has a skeleton or two in their closet. I don’t know how Adam restrains himself from pointing out their everyone’s hypocrisy. Billy Boy? Puhlease. But he just accepts the barbs from left, right and center and moves on for the most part. I suppose he feels he deserves all the rebukes. Or maybe he just pictures them all in big glass houses.

As has been pointed up, it would be great if Chance Chancellor goes after Chelsea for poisoning Rey. But can he do that in good conscience as Rey had forgiven Chelsea to become her friend? Because of his own troubled psychology Chance gets caught in a psyco/sexual entanglement with Chelsea which brings pain to Abby. As Sharon needed to be freed of the boring Rey is it not time for Abby to fly away from Chance to higher heights? This is the way of the soap opera.

So I was right about Chelsea – she is still mad as a hatter (by the way the history of this saying is quite interesting – check it out if you ever have a few minutes- makes me think twice when I put on a hat). Unbelievable how quickly she pivots to Adam once Rey was out of the picture. My guess though is that they will be pushing her into Chance and Abby’s atmosphere soon. I don’t think Abby is gonna have a chance – LOL Pun intended.

Loved the scene with Adam and Sharon. I hope the writers don’t try to hook them up. I actually wonder if they could be like Nikki and Jack; a deep love but only friends.

Leave Adam with Sally and bring Dillon back for Sharon! Nick can have Chelsea.

Dylan’s return, the ultimate. Like your thought about Adam & Sharon. Kindred spirits of the heart but they don’t have to hook up. Or they can. Up to them. I have nothing to actually base this on but I feel like Sharon Case wouldn’t mind pairing up with Mark, but Mark might not want to be makin’ it with his girlfriend on TV everyday.

Loved Sally’s hair and make-up this week -gosh, she’s soooo pretty. But I’m back to hating her outfit: the one this week looked overblown for her, like what an over-the-hill floozy w/too much eyeliner and clunky jewelry would wear when hitting up clubs she’s too old for. (Sorry to those who liked it.) C’mon, Sally, sharpen up those savvy designer edges again! But I did think Chelsea and Chloe each had gorgeous black outfits (although both looked more appropriate for Fall, not Spring). Lighten up those everyday clothes! It’s ok to wear lilac now! – just like natty Jack was… Read more »

LMAO SueW, your back to hating her outfits but Im back to not liking her so much with Adam – not after I saw that Shaddam interaction – counting the weeks till I get to see a couple where I like both people. I say this with just a tiny bit of. tinge of regret because Sally and Adam were starting to grow on me – but I always had one side eye on her – waiting for Salleenanigans.

I haven’t watched Friday’s episode of Y&R yet and I probably won’t until I get a little tipsy tomorrow during brunch hours. I had to sit with my feelings for.a few days and figure out why I just felt like shunning the show for a bit – like you do to a dear friend when they betray you. It finally hit me that I was upset – not about Rey’s death but how the writers decided to make it his fault by giving him a heart attack. They could have had this be more interesting by having Ashland covering up… Read more »

There is absolutely no reason why Victoria being responsible for the car crash can not be part of her resume. Lily has delt with it and what Victoria needs is a continuing dose of humility. I really question the writers feeling the need to absolve her… So much more complexity and story with your ideas….

Ok. It’s no longer cute. Imani is wrong for openly flirting with Nate. She knows the man is in a committed relationship. She won’t listen to Amanda, Devon or Elena. Nate needs to tell her to knock it off!

Nate should indeed tell Imani to knock it off! He must enjoy her attention. Elena needs to dump Nate soon. Their lives are moving in different directions now that Nate left his position at the hospital. I think Elena and Nick would be good together.

Yes, Sally and Adam. They admitted their feelings for each other. I love this couple, but not enough to keep me watching when Tessa is sent off. Her and Rey were two of my favorites.

Hi Sharon, I an eager to hear what its sis about Tessa that you like so much – can you please share your perspective with me. What have I been missing with this character? I feel a bit of sorrow about Rey because we were finally seeing him become interesting…

Herman, trying to explain my love for Tessa on the constraint of this forum will be hard. But I will try. Tessa came on the scene as this full of confidence character, speaking her mind, full of spirit(mustard&vinegar, as they say where I am from). But she also had this protective shield around, what I saw, as a fragile heart. She was a fierce fighter for her little sister Crystal and would do anything to protect her. Understanding that she came from an abusive, drug addicted household, that she had to leave at the age of 17, made me get… Read more »

Appreciate Tessa’s big heart, sensitive soul and “quiet calmness about herself”. All true and well stated but she could use a little more character developement.

How can a parent walk away from a child? LIKE YOU WALKED AWAY FROM KEEMO, JACK???? You put zero effort into that relationship.

Maybe Rey’s heart was medically compromised by Chelsea’s poison. LOCK HER UP.

OMG Ellen, I thought the same thing!!!!! Even though I hate the heart attack move – this is an angle the writers should explore.

Yes, absolutely. Very logical and thinking same. But Y&R won’t go there. Yes, LOCK HER UP, to coin an appalling phrase but here directed at the right person. And except for Ashland with his questionable stories and Sharon having supposedly gone to the morge we have seen no body. Back in Miami Rey’s casket is closed.

Yes, I thought the same of that phrase. In GC the coffin would have been closed. But in Miami, Rey’s casket will be open. They LOVED him dearly. That is how much his family will need to show him as a loving son and brother. Also, A very good man.

Yes, absolutely an open coffin in Miami, unless Y&R has Rey back from the dead and needing for nobody to have actually seen the body. Which, Y&R won’t be playing, I realize. Some are actually gone for good as they leave this world.

Rey is done, they won’t show any thing Although I think they should still have a memorial in GC . Put his picture up or at the very least Sharon should have went to funeral in Miami. She was his wife. They should have done better for Rey, He was well liked even loved

Chelsea, can you hear yourself? You risked Rey’s life for your own purposes. You intimated you won’t have done this, only if you knew what an amazing man he was. Really! Then you betray Chloe by telling Adam and Sally Rey’s cause of death. You did this without a moments thought of how this would effect Chloe. . Being your friend has serious consequences. You and Diane Jenkins are a perfect match.
