I’m just catching up for the week. Rey’s memorial was off screen???!!! I’m so disappointed in Y&R.
Agree Rey deserved better. At least the Teriah wedding will be on screen
I found it funny and sad when Tessa told her sister Crystal that she couldn’t wait to introduce her to her friends in GC. WHAT FRIENDS? Anyway I see that Mariah was planning to leave Tessa alone in the apartment the night before their wedding. Demonstrating to me, once again about her selfish behavior. Thank goodness Crystal showed it early. For these two women supposedly being so non traditional this turned out to be a very traditional wedding, especially from Mariah’s POV.
I am wondering and really hope that Ali’s mother turns out to be Mary Jo Mason. This would be a great way to bring back her character to the show. The fact that Ali never mentions her name makes me think it is definitely a character we know. Mary Jo Mason being Ali’s mother would be a great tie in. This theory makes sense as Mary Jo and Keemo had a romantic relationship. Her character is still alive as she was sent to a mental institution. I was reading the history of Diane’s time on the show, and was shocked to learn on wikki that Diane planned to fake her death with Adam’s help. We know it ended up being Deacon who helped her, Does anyone recall Adam conspiring with her? If this is true, then Adam should not surprised to learn that Diane is alive. I remember Adam telling Sally about his and Diane’s relationship, and how they had conspired something together against Victor. I thought it was worth noting that while Diane Jenkins may not have been the best mother to Kyle after faking her death, Kyle Abbott has also not been the greatest son. If you recall, when Kyle first returned to Genoa City he was full of resentment towards Jack for his treatment of Victor, as it was believed that Jack had killed Victor. Kyle voted against his father being CEO of Jabot after Jack got out of jail, as he voted “NO” at the board meeting. Jack was so shocked and hurt to find that his own son had voted… Read more »
For all that you stated. This is why it angers me that these people have to nerve to be high and mighty and judgemental towards Diane. None of the GC residents are without sin, except for Rey, and look what they did to him. But I know it’s a Soap and some angst and drama is required.
My Girl Phyllis gave the look of pure “Oh Hell No!” when she saw Diane all cozy at the bar with Michael, classic! Y&R better not force a bust up of Michael and Lauren upon us, via Diane and Michael gettin down and dirty!!!!!!!!
I loved that scene with Phyllis watching the glasses clink. I both enjoy and hate Phyllis. Personally I hope Jack warms to Dianne and we get to see more Phyllis going crazy moments because she missed her chance. Snooze ya loose 🙂 I doubt it will impact Michael and Lauren though, they are rock solid!
Look at all the hoops a woman like Sally Spectra must jump through to get to speak to Queen Victoria. S: ‘May I?” V : (pause) “Fine” (grimaces. gives dirty look) “Sit.” Earlier I had laughed when Sally first appeared to Victoria at Society wanting to talk but Victoria was feeling troubled and told her to go away. If I were at a CBS Y&R Chat convention i would raise my hand to ask, “Will Mariah & Tessa’s wedding be held completely off camera?” to make my point.
I left so many posts last night watching 2 1/2 shows straight that I figured I better not write anymore, leaving out the observation from the Thursday show that apparently Ashland is not getting murdered after all, compliments of a new storyline line offered by Adam. But then in the middle of Adam & Sally plotting to put A&V back together again he could suddenly get bumped off, herin the twist.
Nick, you don’t intimidate me at all, says Ashland. I love watching Ashland dust off those pesky Newman threats and insults.
So do I. This is why I hope that he and Victoria get back together to take on Victor and Nikki.
Also, I am so loving Adam and Sally tag teaming Ashland and Victoria. That was too smooth and cool.

From the day Rey was first introduced as a cop from Miami I have longed for a storyline tie in with the Dylan undercover work in Miami, and his sleeping with Alex, which I do not think Sharon ever found out about. Sharon going to Miami with Rey’s body is one last chance for a tie-in, and I would so love it soap gods if you could make this happen. Great idea.. I have always wanted Dylan to return to the show, even it it’s a recast. I am sure many fans have wondered if Dylan ever fathered a child with Alex. That story line was left with lots of potential.
Oh, it is so lame & stupid for Kyle to officiate at the wedding. Applying to become an ordained minister (whatever) on the day of the wedding. What exactly should that mean to the happy couple? And what a stupid lunkhead Nick is to be debating accepting the check for New Hope in Rey’s name. Did Nick really need Sharon to say, “Take the money, Nick. Mariah wanted Kyle because they are friends and he is the one along with Devon, that conspired together to set Tessa and Mariah up on what turned out to be their first date. Also, he was her confidant through a lot of T&M ups and downs. Remember Mariah threw the Bachelor/ Bachelorette Party for Kyle and Lola. The characters have know each other for a long time but really became friends in 2018 when this new Kyle was casted. I actually like this ideal for Kyle to marry them. And Kevin being Mariah’s Best Man.
Yes, that’s all true about Kyle & Mariah. I guess he can marry them, but to my sensibilities he could just as easily be Mariah’s boy maid of honor over the town’s latest minister. Paul’s brother Corbin Benson is a priest and must come marry them! Embarrassing to be caught so old fashioned, I admit…
Its really incredible that Mariah & Tessa are getting married off camera at Top Of The Tower! This is the GC Authletic Club’s upper room only seen during summer months, but this is already May. Good enough. It would be so surprising if Y&R still has the plans to this old set not seen in years with it appearing as we remember it complete with all the aquamarine glass set pieces and such. No, Gary, the wedding will be front and center on camera. Y&R needs to check that box, to continue getting those big pink advertising dollars. Trust me some of the people behind the scenes, (JG) and those watching screens at home are happy. But a show needs money to remain on the air.
Also, what I find really interesting is that the actresses are all over Canadian Television and Press promoting the wedding but not in The United States Press. Funny that!!
I will not believe any kind of ON CAMERA event until I actually see it roll before my eyes Sheroid! Fool me once its on you, fool me twice (41 times) its on me. No wedding on camera! Although I see its a big political event for Y&R. Only overseas you say? Anyway, this is your big day S so I celebrate with you. You are killing me Gary. :). But it seems that the conversation on the Crimson Lights patio, a few weeks back, when Tessa was questioning Noah about what was going with him,(after that one night stand) must have continued off camera, (when the show decided to change direction that is). Because based on their recent talk at CL, when Kyle came to talk to Mariah,(which made no sense for Tessa to leave. It’s her wedding too. Mariah is not marrying herself). But I digress.
