Something has to do it so will Billy facilitate Victoria & Ashland having to stay in Genoa City? Nobody knows where those two are headed with New York not being half way around the world! What’s the big deal with Johnny & Katie as they will perpetually remain in boarding school anyway due to both parents never able to really get it together to free them. On the surface of it, Johnny & Katie have got to see Ashland as a stable presence with their real dad more of a self indulgent kook. It is just as much a danger for the kids to be exposed to Billy as Ashland.
None of them. They are train wrecks in different ways. They both manipulate. Jack is old enough now he needs a stable relationship for th rest of his life. Of course that isn’t soapy. There no one on the show for him right now. Maybe someone’s mom can come to town?
Phyllis and Jack have had so many powerful stories together and apart that I want it to continue. Jack dumped Phyllis and will probably get into a mess with Diane. Only Phyllis will be able to reach Jack if his life goes in the dumpster.
Diane would be a better choice now. It will last long because Diane thinks the grass is greener with someone else. Andy Richards was her most stable relationship and she became bored with him. Diane hasn’t changed. She has a learn how to gain patience and fine-tuned her ability to manipulate. I’m looking forward to all her machinations.
It was icky and obvious that Phyllis used Jack. She is not sincere about him. I still think there is deep residual feeling of the Marco/Jack incident, I just wish they would acknowledge that. Diane just wants “back in” more than she wants Jack, too. Why is it so hard for Jack to find true love. And there are no GC ladies of his vintage right now. I’d rather he rediscovered Sharon, but he doesn’t drink coffee.
‘Icky’ is the perfect word for how Phyllis has played him.
I am already over Diane’s character, so boring and predictable. At least Phyllis keeps Jack on his toes.
I am for Jack & Diane! Of course Phyllis will have a nervous breakdown or worse! The character of “Diane” was obviously resurrected (no pun intended) for that very reason.
This is a weird story/dilemma for Jack. We had all the allusions/foreshadowing? from Dina about Jackie’s finding his ‘true love.’ It’s NOT Phyllis – no way, shape, or form- and only because she’s not feelin’ it, much as Jack has longed for her to. I’m open to Diane, though I’m not sure she’s the right end-game for darling Jackie’s heart, either. But if Jack’s ever gonna get his happily-ever-after-forever, the show needs to be hoppin’ to it and quit breaking his heart! And, Diane is here, once again…

She’s even broke bread with the Abbott family anchor Tracy. Meanwhile on Earth 2 it’s 100% crazy town. I voted for Jack and Phyllis. Yes Phyllis is crazy but Diane is an unknown factor. What is her agenda? You know what they say ,It’s better to be with the devil you know
But Jack knows exactly who Diane is. He was married to the woman and fathered a child with her. Unlike with Phyllis.
Jack is Kyle’s father, but Diane stole Victor’s sperm to be inseminated. She wanted a child with Victor. Victor had just divorced her to remarry and a dying Nikki. Later, Diane found out Jack was the father. They were not married. She tried to use Kyle to get Jack back.
