Sure! I’m all for the drama (and they can all get down and dirty taking turns fleecing the others as far as I’m concerned). I enjoy these type of twisty wheeling/dealing stories way more than the romances, kidnappings, cults, adoptions, etc. (Although Diane’s ‘back-from-the-dead is fun,’ and at least viewers weren’t asked to buy an ACTUAL resurrection.) Interesting how the horrid Adam of decades past is now a fan fave ‘Golden Boy.’ As Ali has discussed in past Chats, ANYONE AND ANYTHING can be not just forgiven, but redeemed on a soap… wonder which despised character will be next?
I voted yes. VICTOR NEWMAN is ruthless! Adam and Ashland will give it a good try but I think it will end badly. Adam’s attempt at a coo is what he should do and will be “Must-See TV!” He has had the CEO spot taken away twice . To have him retaliate is very realistic pass or fail! Go for it ADAM!
I want Adam to get sweet revenge—but without doing anything illegal or causing any physical harm. Any physical harm Adam has ever caused has been unintentional—but he does take risks that put people in harm’s way. No more of that! Let’s see an Adam who is clever, patient and ruthless in business—but not dangerous. Let him win by being successful, powerful and most of all—VERY HAPPY.
I completely agree with this approach! I would also like there to be a twist that we don’t see coming when it comes to his revenge plan. It will be very interesting to see what Adam and Ashland do, and if they will work together or separately. I look forward to seeing where this story line will lead and how it will all end.
Agree! I like Adam & if he does some physical harm it’ll lower my opinion of him. They always says he’s the brains of the family (Harvard etc) so let’s see what he can do with that. Diane is smart (look at how she is playing the Abbotts) why not team up with the other outcasts. Take Diane out of the Abbott circle. What Victoria did was cleaver. Tough question this week. BTW I’ve noticed that the actor Eric Braeden perform all of his scenes 99.9 % of the time sitting..he rarely walks in or stand for a long period of time. I wonder if he is okay??? Has anyone other than me notice this???
The Newmans will deserve a bad Adam. He can never do enough to get their respect or benefit of a doubt; first saving Summer in a car crash then gave a kidney to her, saved Nick when they were caught in the storm, shot by Billy, saved Victor…..yet others like Chelsea poisoned Rey and all is forgiven. Yes he has done bad things in the past but he has been making a huge effort to change and be apart o the family. They will never forgive or accept him fully.
I just wish the Newman’s treated Adam with more respect. They keep talking about adam being a monster and now they made him one again. I’m not looking forward to the Newmans playing victim once adam strikes, when they’re the ones that poked the bear the begin with!
I think the Newman’s did Adam wrong, like they always do. He deserves to get even. Just try to bring down the Newmans without Ashland, not a good idea to team up with him. Actually would be good if Adam stopped him from getting even with Victoria. Adam would be a hero.
