ASHLAND = (vaguely) devious
VICTORIA = Cruel (and devious)

Billy just pulled that “I think I know what I want to be when I grow up” gag on Lily who didn’t seem any where near as charmed by it as did Victoria. In fact, she grimaced. If Billy thinks he’s come up with a good line he’s going to try it on different people to varying results.

Ashland Locke didn’t “cause his own death”, Victor, and all the saying so in the world doesn’t make it so. Your neanderthal son killed him.
In a follow up Nikki says, Ashland did meet with a rather violent, untimely death, didn’t he?”
with Victoria responding, “It was all Ashlands doing”. On what planet? Who are these people?

Lately I feel like I work all day in the corporate world with firings, promotions, petty arguments, demotions and escape to my soap full of firings, promotions, petty arguments and demotions. To me, if you are in the business of entertainment, and you are portraying stories of the corporate world, keep it entertaining. Fill it with hostile takeovers, sabotage, espionage, not the daily humdrums. If not, stick to love and romance. People always love a great love story. Y&R had a great love story with Adam and Sally that left us wanting more, instead, with a pen, stomped the fire… Read more »

Devon is behaving like a total jackass! Nate needs to bounce on over to Newman Media and reclaim his place as the host of Ask MD Now……and slide on into an executive position, something cool like Creative Director.
Yup. Does Devon treat everyone in the company the way he treats Nate? Does everyone have to ask Devon for permission to take every step? It’s stifling. You hire talented people and give them job responsibilities. You can’t and shouldn’t try to monitor their every move. Devon is saying one thing and doing another where Nate is concerned. Let’s see if Nate makes a major blunder or two, then there is something to talk about. Otherwise, back off Devon.

Bold & the Beautiful are doing some cool things to keep fans interested that I think Y&R should implement: weekly YT lives with an actor as a guest & live phone Q&A with live chat, full episodes on their YT channel (not the current season), the story of (they explain a character/couple’s history), holiday eps in a playlist (Thanksgiving, NY etc), inside bold (spills the tea about weddings, baddies, remote shoots, fashion, wacky s/l etc). If Y&R wants to increase their audience or keep us current fans in they need to engage us. Y&R did some FB & IG lives… Read more »
You’re saying nothing but the truth. I love that a producer of a Daytime soap is willing to engage with the audience. But I guess you can do that when your audience is excited about your actors and their stories.
Yeah. Casey is one of their executive producers & he’s the one who does some of these things. He’s always interested in hearing from the fans even though he may not do something they want. I like that he’s at least open to it. Y&R needs to modernize. I love behind the scenes stuff from my fav shows. The Eric Braeden blooper reel from a few yrs ago was GOLD!

Given the JT Hellstrom case how is it that Victoria & Co, known liars, have any credibility with the law? Why would the cop “100%” believe Victoria’s set up of the death? This is her 2nd go round of her peope meeting their end at her house to suddenly disappear! Her modus operandi seems suspicious to me. The case needs to reach beyond Chance Chancellor to be put in the hand of Paul Williams at the police station. It has been a mission of his to get Victor Newman for years so why is he all but invisiable now?
Ugh. But if it keeps Chelsea away from Adam, that’s a plus.

That final scene with Chance – let’s hope our sexy cop is playing the long game.

Chloe, who appointed you the Romance Police. In previews for next week, you are chastising Chelsea over her attraction to Billy. Now that you’re happily married, do you think you know it all. When Chelsea was working through her feelings for Adam, you told her how she should feel. Now, you’re informing Sally of all of her mistakes. Chloe, it’s time to keep your opinions to yourself, unless you are asked.
Chloe as the mature, emotionally balanced voice of Genoa City is HYSTERICAL! You should be in prison Chloe—and you married The Chipmunk. We remember it all! Okay, people can change and you two “are not those people anymore”, but please keep your judgment and opinions to yourselves. Ridiculous!

I watched a good movie this week on amazon prime called Killer in Law with Kelly Sullivan who played Sage on Y&R. It is worth checking out.

Y&R was not on today in Canada? I don’t know why but I was very disappointed.

I am very pleased that Chance is getting a lot more air time than he has in the past. I always enjoy seeing him on my screen. I really like his character and he is obviously very easy on the eyes which doesn’t hurt either. I hope we continue to give Chance a story line now that it looks like the Ashland Locke case may be coming to a close. As Daisy mentioned, maybe Ashland is being held up somewhere. I would not be surprised as that theory would allow for his character to return. I would like to see… Read more »

In an earlier post I mentioned I felt there wasn’t enough compelling scenes this week but the dream sequence between Jack and Diane gave me what I was craving.. It really had me fooled! I thought for sure this was actually taking place. I thought Y&R did a great job of building up the intensity and excitement of Diane feeling like her dreams were finally coming true. I was very much in the moment for the entire scene and was very intrigued by their conversation and emotions during their nightcap. I thought it was strange that Diane would pull her… Read more »

Leave it to one of Y&R’s own characters(!) over a chatter to pinpoint the reality of someone as Jack calls out Diane for her always picture perfect answers of the PAGENT queen.

So true! This is the second time Victoria’s house has been a crime scene. Hmmmmm. I’m still mad that they ruined the character of JT. Grrrrrrrrrrr.
JT & Colleen was one of my first ever ships. I didn’t know what a ship was back then but I thought they were so cute with Lyndsey Fonseca as Colleen.
Did Y&R get rid of the “no crime” Ashland Locke murder case to better focus on the continuing nerosisies of Billy?
