Oh Ali, I do understand your loyalty to the Newmans after all these years. They are our central characters. But the writers need to be more careful. Yes, Ashland did wrong. But so did all the Newmans. And Ashland is the only one who ended up DEAD. His company, his money, his son, his wife and his reputation and his life all taken by the Newmans. The Newmans have zero remorse about what they did—that’s my problem. At least Nick is doing some self reflection. The actress Reylynn Caster(Faith) has been on recurring status for months now. She was reduced right after the wedding. Jacob Aaron Gaines(Moses) was always on recurring. According to the storyline Faith and Moses are suppose to be attending The University of Michigan together. But there has been no final word as to where Moses is actually going.
Also I think Y&R not utilizing Faith and Moses for the young demographic is a mistake. They cannot seriously believe that presenting Noah and Allie as some love struck youngsters is going to be believed by true Y&R fans. We may not know Allie’s relationship history, but we do know Noah’s. Noah has been in several on screen serious relationships, that includes; Eden, Jana, Adriana, Marissa, Courtney(whom he actually proposed to and was going to marry),Tessa, even though she ended up with his sister, he deeply cared for her, not to mention this offscreen girlfriend in England.
