I was watching a YRchat from July & I totally didn’t notice the weather was different on the rooftop (where Noah & Allie were having their date) while the rest of GC was storming. Good catch Diana. And Ellen, I love what you said about Sally character & then Adam’s hair. “That hair does whatever it wants!” We both love us some Adam, even when he has heartache. PS – it would be good if we could tag a fellow chatter.
Does anyone think there is a possibility Nick and Sally night get together? It always seems people root for Sharon and Nick to reconnect. victoria seemed to really enjoy time spent with Billy at her house and they are great together but it never turns out well. His relationship with Lily has been Billy at his best….I hope it stays that way.
I really hate what’s happening between Chelsea and Chloe. They were such a good friendship. I hope they work it out. I’m seriously worried about Chelsea though. I think her storyline is going to get dark again. Chelsea needs something to do maybe they can bring Anita back.
Chloe doesn’t know when to quit with Chelsea as her bestie. Never say die.
I wonder if we will ever find out what happened in Vegas with Chelsea and Nick? I can’t remember what other characters went? I only remember that no one was to speak about it again. This may be a good time for the viewers to find out what happened. There could be a potential for a juicy story line .
Didn’t they go with Billy and Phyllis. I pictured a swingers thing or an orgy. As they say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
Yes. It could very well have involved s-e-x. And Chats are not afraid to say it.
I enjoyed the scene of Chelsea kissing Adam. I was shocked by it at the end of the episode, yet it really shouldn’t have come as a surprise. We saw Chelsea’s feelings for Billy continually grow since they began working together. Billy is so irresistible that Chelsea couldn’t contain her feelings for him anymore. Her feelings of attraction to Billy were too strong not to act on them. Who can blame Chelsea? Billy really seems to become more attractive each time we see him. Billy is a smooth operator! He has an intensity and charm that’s very powerful when applied. Think of how indifferent he is to Phyllis and wisely detached non-charming to Summer. Poor Chelsea was pulled right in and got out-charmed because she was so light and cute with Billy and he was all intense and focused on her. Did Billy draw her in just to test the water? He didn’t need to tell Lily (there was nothing to tell if it meant nothing) but if he’s making a slow exit this is a great way to get exit door pried open.

Victor and Nick were (probably unintentionally) hilarious converging on Adam at Society like they were a couple of mobster thugs (as some do believe). Sorry, Cutie-pie Nick, I just don’t buy you as a ‘tough guy,’ even w/your folded arms and pointed “We understand you’ve come across some… (insert weighted pause)… information.” Lol, Adam wasn’t fazed either.
LOL. I agree, Adam wasn’t intimidated by Victor either. Sorry Pops, pointing your finger and saying “how dare you” or whatever isn’t going to bother Adam. He’s all alone again, and going to a dark place.
Very surprised Sally went to Victoria re: Adam’s ‘scoop’!! Not sure how I feel about that… And speaking of Victoria (victim, devil, however anyone sees her, lol), I thought she looked especially pretty and vibrant week. Her hair is to die for. (Ugh, sorry Ashland.) Seriously though, A. Heinle is one gorgeous gal.
Maybe her job was actually more important to her than her relationship with Adam like he was pointing out to her. What caught my attention was Victoria using that information. I wonder now if Sally is going to see what Adam was talking about all of this time concerning the Newman’s using people to their advantage. Sally made a B line to the park when she saw Adam and Chelsea hugging. Was she looking for Adam? Had she made a decision when she realized that Victoria was going to use her to get Adam?
M.Grossman has been soooo good this week. (Well, he always is!) I guess the side-slicked hair is to represent ‘bad Adam?’ But he doesn’t need the physical cues – the actor is very skilled in simultaneously expressing the good, the bad, and the ugly Adams all jockeying for position inside his character.
He has great facial expressions. He must get that from his modeling experience. Sigh.
Yes sigh! I was watching the episode from a month ago where Adam was trying to get info from Kevin & Sally about Ashland’s death @ society & all I could do was stare at Adam. Damn Mark is so hot. His eyes look like black coals (I know that doesn’t sound sexy) but they’re a dark abyss that would stop me in my tracks. If you haven’t found the Ally YT playlist you should! Billy loves the attention and to keep the conversation going. Running to Lily with Chelsea’s kiss! A gentleman never tells… “Can’t we just forget it and not speak of it again?’ asks Chelsea. Not with Billy.
I think Billy did the right thing in telling Lily.
But clearly Lily and Billy’s easy-breezy, ‘fun’ romance days are over. They are both obviously ‘working’ at it now. It occurred to me when Billy and Victoria were schmoozing at Victoria’s house (reminding each other it used to be ‘theirs’) that the praise he was laying on her was very similar to the ‘worship’ he used to smother Lily w/in their early courtship days. Methinks Billy’s headed back to Victoria… or maybe it’s just my wishful thinking.
Well, its a choice. A tempest in a teapot. Just don’t go there no more.

Sally has the most incredible intensity, sppech pattern & line delivery. More beautiful than ever. A+
I like it, but giving her so much personal integrity now is a bit of a stretch. Sally has accomplished what is so hard for Chelsea to do.
Sally certainly takes care of herself—she is all in with Newman Enterprises now. I understand it, but I liked her much more as an outsider with Adam. Now she’s towing the company line.

In life, throughout life, sometimes when my platforms of choice have dried up there has been a loss, a grief process. Not so with The Grinning Soul. I don’t completely get the concept of what exactly defines the term ‘potcast” and I would observe today’s exit seemed more like a morning radio show than anything else. You look back on what was once the sweet baby Victoria, looking exactly like Tabitha Stevens on Bewitched, and wonder where it all went wrong???
Imagine the trouble she could create by twitching her nose, if she took after her look-alike.
Adam’s breaking-in hacker guy made my day. I got a laugh that he walked out of Adam’s room with a stolen bag and standard plain white envelope (always used for payoffs) in plain sight. Kevin should ask for the hallway surveillance video and he’d have proof of the robbery.
