Nick is an arrogant jerk. He’s standing there like yeah I was with your girl, so what?! I know everyone in this is technically single but he knows Adam & Sally still love each other. He knows he has no feelings for Sally. All 3 are hurt: Adam & Sally from the breakup, Nick from Ashland’s death. The writers are trying to copy some Ally scenes. Do they think the Ally superfans won’t notice? On the couch at NM, room 601 @ TGP, taking off Nick’s belt? I’m not buying this. The scenes disgust me other then one 5 second… Read more »

I think that is Sally trying to erase her memories of her and Adam. Noticed when her and Nick were getting dressed how she was running her hand over the bed?

Sally is just playing hard to get with Adam. Because of how he hurt her, she still loves him. She is sleeping with Nick because there is an attraction, she doesn’t love him, just lust

Chatters are fired up this week with our strong opinions and our loyalties to certain characters! I love it! And now Ali will bring her special brand of humor and perspective tomorrow to remind us all that YR is the land of crazy make believe. I’m glad we are all friends who can debate what we see on screen for 5 hours every week. Otherwise I would just be talking to myself (and my patient cats) about the antics of the residents of Genoa Junction. I think YR Chat is actually good for my mental health.

The impulse to hit the self destruct button in response to despair, shock, grief, feelings of betrayal and humiliation when your significant other tosses you and your heart away seemingly out of nowhere, can simply be too strong to fully resist…………consciously one can fight the pull of destruction, but subconscious choices are a completely different story. I’m filled with nothing but compassion and understanding for Sally, I’m rooting for her to heal and find true happiness within herself.

When Nate presented his plan on insider trading to Victoria, I saw her respect for him take a nosedive. I don’t think Victoria would have someone who is so disloyal to his family run a new division of Newman. I think Nate has overplayed his hand.

I saw and thought that too. But we could be wrong.

You may be right. Nate is despicable. He has no loyalty and what he is planning to do is not going to get him what he wants

Would Amani fudge the NDA for Nate? What will her role be in the takeover of the company?

What will Elana’s role be? Will she spill the beans to Devon? Then will Devon trap Nate in the subterfuge? This is turning out to be a good watch

I hope she does tell Devon. That would break off her and Nate as a couple and Imani will move right in on Nate

Amani would do anything for Nate and he knows it. He will use Imani to get info for Victoria

Even though wasn’t the tack room, I LOVED Victor’s boxing scene. Nostalgia! He’s in fantastic shape. I want HIM to join the security team keeping Nikki safe.

I thought he was going to have a heart attack. His hunched over posture, very labored breathing and pained facial expressions were all off to me—like a man in trouble, not a man in control. I remember scenes like this when Eric Braeden was younger. He didn’t come across this way. I’m not sure Eric would allow a “Victor is aging and fragile” storyline so I guess I was supposed to be impressed. I just wouldn’t have been surprised if he had collapsed, but they were apparently going for something different.

My take was COMPLETELY different. I agree w/Laura that he looks to be in FANtastic shape. Good for you, E. Braeden! I took the scene and his approach as one of a conflicted man whose physical struggling was a manifesration of his internal emotional struggle re: Adam and their strained relationship. (No opinion from me if it’s warranted or not – that’s not why I’m posting.) If I recall, the boxing came either after Victor’s conversation w/Adam, or w/Jack re: Adam, or both. Of course Victor’s breath was labored (real or faked), as he was giving his all – ‘taking… Read more »

I thought Victor was funny boxing. He did look like he was overdoing it and was going to collapse or have a heart attack

Chloe always looks sooo put-together and pretty. I’m not posting to re-hash/bash what she is/isn’t doing, or has/hasn’t done, rather I’m just appreciating how fresh and stylish she always appears these days. Love the actress and always enjoy seeing her play the heck out of however her character is written. Always a fan here!

Why was Adam at Newman – does he still have free rein to walk around the building?

Wasn’t that great dialogue when Adam paid a visit to Victoria’s office where she confirmed for him that she is barely human? I can’t quote her exact words that lead to Adam ending up saying to her, “You, who only move forward and pretend you left no distruction in your wake.” He has captured Victoria exactly! And why wouldn’t she be so callous when about everyone in town affirms her doing this? For me, the killer line of the week.

I have to say it again. Lily is incredible in how she knows how to deal with others. She deserves to run a company and is a fine diplomat. Knows how to speak her mind and knows how to mend fences. Watch her let Amani have it and later acknowledge, “Amani, I shouldn’t have snapped at you.” This is a leader and how you best get people in your corner to do their best work for you.

Oh, that Victoria is plenty icy… (Re: Sally’s missed corporate meeting at Newman)
But Sally has the ability to present herself in the best humble light to supervisors. Got the gift, that one. Who would dare to fire her?

Sally can’t miss any more meetings. But now that she is sleeping with Nick maybe she thinks he will save her from being fired if Victoria still wants that as well as Victor

Devon ended Dr. Nate’s surgical career which Nate pretty much swallowed so now here is the issue rearing its ugly head again. Unsettled. Deal with your issues, Chatters! The legendary Zoperplex always had fantasies that Dr. Nate would soon rise up and bop Devon over the head in belated retaliation but we have yet to see it.

Are you sleeping with my brother?
A question there is no good answer for if you’re Sally. Even a lie isn’t going to work, Adam sees what is happening.

I am starting to think that Sally is purposely pushing Adam too far the same way he did her. She knew it would be a point of no return to make sure she could not go back to him and put herself in that position again.

You may be right. They call that poisoning the well or burning your bridges, right? She doesn’t trust herself to stay away from Adam, so she is making sure he won’t want her. Sad for those of us who thought they were a good couple. I guess the writers wanted to give Nick something to do.

Lily’s purple and white dress looked like a soccer jersey one of my daughters had. Except for the long sleeves and open chest. Ah, it’s nice to make an un-angsty observation… this week was a wild one!

Oooooh- lots of Chat-tide these days turning against Can’t-count-past-quadrillion Nick Newman. Well, I don’t currently see any of the Nick/Sally/Adam trio as the ‘good’ or ‘bad’ guy. Sally has hardly been taken advantage of (she definitely now can’t sell Nick-sex as a ‘oops, one-time vulnerable moment,’ lol). She may very well still love Adam- and can very well act/not act on it as she chooses. I feel for Adam, but “I love you, I don’t love you, I do and always did love you” doesn’t constitute ‘dibs’ – heck, Sally and Adam weren’t even together all that long. Not really… Read more »
