Nick is so unsuited for the corporate environment. So he breaks up with Sally then thinks it is the right time to deliver news that she AND Chloe are out?! I hope she runs straight to Christine with a sexual harassment claim.

Diane’s secret was better than I imagined. I still wonder if Tucker somehow planted that Allie/Kemo information and Allie isn’t really an Abbott. That would be the worst part. I don’t think Diane knowingly has more lies but I can see Tucker deceiving her with this whole Allie tale of being Kemp’s lonely practical orphaned daughter.

The scenes between Nate and Devon were soooo good this week- each actor played off the other perfectly as the ‘gloves came off’ (to paraphrase Nate!). Seems to be a lot of viewers piling on against Devon, but I think he actually has made some valid points in the whole CW-IPO-Nate-family debacle. I agree he was wrong to have sucker-punched Nate when Nate SLEPT WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND, but that doesn’t invalidate every thought Devon has had since then. I agree he has often appeared bull-headed and unfair toward Nate, but that doesn’t make every response/step/decision Devon has made at CW… Read more »

Emmy worthy performance by both men!!! I haven’t seen such dynamic action demonstrated by these two actors, imho, in quite some time. And yes SueW,it is not as clearly “in the right” or “all wrong”. I wasn’t a Y&R viewer in Devon’s earlier days but I also get the feeling that his hesitation in many ways regarding the merger, is not only due to his deep loyalty to Neil but his need to be safe in his choice. He may be a rich man today but not in the past. His past was not secure so he may feel as… Read more »

That was a great scene between Nate and Devon. I think Nate was right when he said Devon has not gotten over Neil’s death. But Nate has been arrogant and over confident . What he tried to do to his family was a true betrayal and should not be easily forgiven

Deep down Nate has to be harboring some resentment toward Elena for his hand injury, no matter how much he doesn’t want to. Which is why they were destined to fail.

Nikki’s housekeeper just lets in anyone without even checking with her. What kind of security does this ranch have? How does the housekeeper know if NIkki wanted to see Talia Morgan? The house keeper needs to be more dilgent before letting people in the house. Having said that: NIcki and Victor need a front door. We never see it, we only ever hear people leaving the ranch as the door closes. Nikki and Victor never know who will come walking into the living room.

Maybe the housekeeper isn’t the blame,,,,gate security/guards may have been informed that she was expecting Tucker or Talia. Victor is suppose to have great protection in place to protect his family. Supposedly?

Apparently Nikki didn’t know Talia was coming. I think that is what she said when she walked into the room.

I though Diane hadn’t changed, then I thought she did, now with that drug mule story I’m thinking she’s still rotten. At least I hope she is. I want a Phyllis counterattack

Even after her story to Jack about her LA past, I still don’t feel she/Diane is “changed”. I think that after coming back to GC and feeling a connection to the idea of having “her” family again with Kyle, hopefully with Jack, she wants sooo deeply to be “changed”. The determination of Nikki, Phyllis, Ashley, and possibly Lauren will good or bad, com to the surface along with the truth about Tucker’s involvement/reason for return as a bonus. Time will tell, good or bad!!!

Can’t stand Phyllis, Nikki, Ashley and now Lauren and their smug nastiness over ancient history when they have all done horrible things too. Of course Diane was in desperate straits when she first went to LA—no identity, no SSN, no money. She fell in with the wrong person. Women always get screwed over. I’m TEAM DIANE all the way and I hope the privileged GC witches all end up with mud on their faces. Hateful jerks, every one of them, IMO.

The game is on and hopefully we will have a fun time finding out who s going to come out on top….maybe Diane or the ladies on a mission to rid GC of her. I’m still not fully convince that all of Diane’s story is the complete truth of her past. Why is Deacon in the mix…couldn’t she have his help or is there more to learn. Sometimes you gotta love the drama that is to come…and then enter Tucker McCall.

I can’t believe Chelsea left Connor alone at Crimson Lights. That is terrible parenting and unacceptable. I feel bad for all that Chelsea is going through but this is not an excuse for not keeping Connor safe. Her behavior was very irresponsible. Just because Connor told her that his dad was in the coffee shop is not a good enough reason to drop off Connor there without being sure by seeing Adam for herself. Where is the communication? She dropped Connor off and didn’t even check with Adam to see that they connected. I don’t what parent would ever do… Read more »

When she showed up with the backpack and no makeup and overheard Connor, I thought that would be the last straw. I’m sure this is a precursor for a mental health storyline. Chelsea leaving him there is another indication she’s not well. Impulsively kissing Billy, talking faster, no makeup, crying all the time, snapping at her friends…all the signs are there. Will she harm herself or kidnap the boys. It has to be leading somewhere

Geneva City’s men look great in purple. However, shades of blue is the color for its women, as illustrated by the “scheming” threesome. Nikki looked dazzling this week in her soft blue shirt and shimmering skirt. Ashley was sumptuous in her slate silk outfit. And Phyllis stunned in her velvety teal blouse. Good job wardrobe.

Bravo Susan Walters! I was enthralled in your story, absolutely captivating. I hung onto every word and could imagine the angst you suffered at the hands of this manipulating and very wealthy criminal. I went on this journey with you, from being lovestruck and feeling wanted and adored again to the complete shock and horror of discovering that you were being used in criminality. I felt your fear. It pained me when you spoke of the betrayal you felt. You portrayed each emotion with such believability. What a treasure you are to this show.

Yes, and I hope they don’t plan to sacrifice her on the altar of the sanctimonious witches of GC who all think they are so much better than Diane. That would be such a waste of a great character and actress.

I am loving this Tucker McCall! … all thanks to the actor who is clearly having fun w/the role and already making it his own. “I love a good cat and mouse game,” Tucker pseudo-casually mused…. and lol, it seems Nikki and Talia were the flummoxed mice in today’s round. Cracked me up when he was handed Talia’s business card and chortled “How quaint!” I hope the character will be one to reckon with and not go the way of a pathetic ‘poser.’ Let’s see him get further tangled w/ both Ashley and The Newmans (and I guess CW?)… and… Read more »

I love him also! I love the delivery of his lines. He is funny and witty with this calm and cool factor. Tucker is just what the show has needed. Aside form the fact that he is a compelling actor, new characters keep the show interesting and realistic. i enjoy seeing Talia Morgan on the show as well. Her character is believable and I feel Y&R made the right choice with her playing the role of a reporter. She always speaks like she is a news anchor on the 6 o clock news.

Maybe Talia seems like a natural reporter because she is on the talk, CBS’ daytime talk show. She was also on the today show, dateline, msnbc, access hollywood. So she has lots of real world experience.

Me too!! Me too!!! Me tooooo!! I don’t remember him from his time on OLTL but I can see that he is definitely the right fit for this role as Tucker McCall!! What ease he moves from one encounter to another with the residents of GC, not fully giving anyone his “true” reasons for returning, getting a feel on his affect and effect on all, yet gaining mini steps in accomplishing his goals whatever they are. I cannot wait to see what he is up to next.

I agree. He had me laughing out loud about the rumor about him and Victor. His acting and the way they are writing for him is perfection. I also think Ashley is going to fall for him again. I think she’s going to get trapped in her own trap.

Diane’s secret reveal did not disappoint! I had wondered if it’d ultimately be ho-hum (like Ashland’s faked identity ‘bombshell’), but it was crazy – and salacious – and even vaguely believable! (Well, by soap standards, lol.) It did seem a little silly that the wordly ‘Not-dead Diane’ would fall so readily for a slick billionaire whispering sweet nothings, but Susan Walters sold the story perfectly. Can’t wait to see where the story goes now. I hope Diane’s beating Phyllis and Nikki to ‘the punch’ works in her favor. I’m sure Diane’s little legal ‘snafus’ could be worked around through very… Read more »

I enjoyed hearing Diane’s secret also. I was so surprised when she told Jack the truth. We know soaps are always about keeping secrets, so it was unexpected. Secrets often linger on for a lot longer or until the person gets caught. It was an interesting story that Diane told. This scenario helps to give Diane sympathy from both her family and the viewers.

I feel Diane’s pain but that is a LOT for Jack to process . He speaks for me when he says,”I don’t know what to say.” I think Jack will supprt Diane and go to bat for her when the witches get hold of all this (imagine!) , but on a personal level be more wary of her than ever. Mr. Goon must be ready to get out of prison and hold Diane hostage or we wouldn’t be seeing him in the flashbacks as Diane’s wild ride is revealed. I have not liked this story because I believed it would… Read more »

So, Summer and Kyle who have been married for a year( second wedding). Gets a vow renewal ceremony and two weeks later a romantic honeymoon get away. Yet, there was no honeymoon scenes for Tessa and Mariah. They were actually absent from the show a whole month, after their wedding night. That had no real intimacy either.

I can picture those two dopes in snaps. Summer with the straw hat (Y&R auction) and Kyle with a pina colata in a pineapple drinking container with plastic leaves on the top smiling out under the bright Caribbean sun (wherever they went) in shades for the folks like Phyllis & Jack back home. Cliche’. But your post implies we are getting them live! Sharod, if your two crazy kids get a baby will it help ease the pain of their lack of a honeymoon? Possibly an old fashioned story out of mothballs of a teen pregnancy where the mother ends… Read more »

You have me noticing things I didn’t before. I thought it was a little off when Christine gave them the possible adoption news, they didn’t embrace or kiss each other. Even holding hands was missing.

One of our “Chatters” posted an interesting theory. Could Audra Charles be Tucker’s daughter? Audra & Tucker don’t seem to give off any romantic vibes, etc., whatsoever. That makes the father/daughter scenario not so far-fetched so to speak. But then, I have to consider what the age difference might be. Tucker is thought to be around Ashley or Jack’s age and Audra in the ballpark of Noah’s age……that would make it believable I guess.
