Yes it is tacky! I KEEP LOOKING FOR “THE POLE” for the strippers! 🙂

Gary, now I can share regarding my lack of fondness for “Flashbacks”. Earlier in the week I told you that this is one time that a “Flashback” served me well. I knew that was where Ali pulled the “Quote Game” but I didn’t want to give it away……..you may recall. Just saying. 🙂
Ali admitted that quote was a tricky one. Nevertheless, 11 chatters (of course including me) guessed it correctly. Last Sunday Ali entertained my thoughts and feelings on “Flashbacks” and I really got lucky. It really pushed me to put on my thinking cap. It was definitely a well written comment for Neil / Kristoff. Of course, I almost went with Nate or Sally……given the current storyline (s). Anywho……..It was Neil…”full stop!” Lastly, after John Abbot’s character left the show not only were swamped with “flashbacks” but his ghost as well kept appearing as if he really never left the show.… Read more »
I feel I listen well but apparently I only hear what i want to hear as i am only able to muster up a Quote Of The Week about once or twice a year! Some of us have it and some of us don’t. Keep listening.
Obviously Gary I have a “system “. Not to be specific, let’s just say I’m retired and have a lot of time on my hands.. 🙂

I love that Victor had figured out Tuckers plan. I wonder if he’ll warn Jack or Ashley or Devon and Jill. Why hasn’t anyone brought Audrey’s relationship with Tucker to the CW staff’s attention.

I think Jacks fallen for Diane despite himself. I wonder how far he will go to protect her. I feel like Jeremy Stark is going to come to GC looking for revenge.
Yeah Sherrita, it’s about time for them to inject another character into the show……Audra and now Stark….and of course the resurrection of Tucker McCall….Wow, that’s almost 3 new characters in a month if Stark is added?????

Amanda was amazing this week. I’m going to mis her. I really found it shocking that Abby and Devon think their partners will forgive them. They are so intertwined in each other lives that how could Chance or Amanda think that this won’t happen again. I do think if they are honest with themselves, Devon and Abby will realize they are more than friends and I’m surprisingly here for it. I think they could have an love story built from friendship. Amanda never really worked because aside from looking like Hilary the rest of personality was nothing like her twin.… Read more »

Phyllis and Amanda had a lovely, superficial, over-drinks-because-we-have-no-other-gal-pals camaraderie, but Phyllis was a bit histrionic in saying good-bye to Amanda. Ay yi… I’ve said this before: Phyllis needs a man… it’s been way too long…

Well, even I think what I’m going to say is blasphemous, but I suddenly like the idea of Abby and Devon together. (I know, I know… Chance looks way better on (ahem) paper… and uh yeah – he’s Abby’s HUSBAND.) And yeah… enough said. But still- some of the most epic (ugh, cheesy word) and enduring real life love stories have grown after and despite of infidelity. Should a person forever sacrifice their own happiness for someone else’s? Idk – situation dependent? People and life move on -maybe for the better? Can people come out on the better side of… Read more »

Oh Audra, you found your way in! I think it’s a hoax, there was no baby or miscarriage. She’s so conniving.
I think the “jury is still out” on Audra as well Ron. She wants Noah back and may go to any length to get him back.

When Billy was telling Lily that he understands how Chelsea is feeling because he has had been in her shoes before. Billy was basically saying that he and Chelsea can relate to another in a way that Lily would not understand. Lily seemed to agree although not happy that she apparently doesn’t share this bond with Billy that he seems to share with Chelsea regarding their trials and tribulations. I was surprised that Lily did not respond by reminding Billy all of her severe hardships in life. Lily has had cancer, lost both her mother and father, been through a… Read more »
Those are great points that I had forgotten about Lily. It’s kind of amazing how well-adjusted and confident she seems now after all of those things she’s endured. I took Billy to mean that Lily had never reached the point of suicide, but then again I don’t think he had ever either? Or maybe one or the both did… I don’t really remember. Maybe Billy feels a stronger bond w/Chelsea since they have a child together? Idk, at any rate, I expected Lily to have kicked Billy to the curb long before now. She may be getting to that point…
I am not sure where there relationship is headed. I wouldn’t mind seeing Billy and Sharon get together. I have wanted to see them together for a while.
I was a little disappointed when Jill discovered that Esther was now working at Chancellor Winters and didn’t have any snide or sarcastic remarks to make. I was very surprised by her very calm and nonchalant manner. I used to love Jill’s snarky stuck up attitude and comments towards Esther. Jill seems to have mellowed out with her.
For a married woman, Abby never once showed any restraint or second thoughts about her actions. Even afterwards, Abby was very content in her choice to cheat on Chance as she told Devon she wanted to hang on to whatever it was they had going on with one another.

Amanda told Devon that she now knows what he is capable of after she caught him cheating with Abby. Devon told Amanda that he never cheated on Hilary. I assume that Amanda is not aware that Devon betrayed his father by sleeping with Hilary when she was married to Neil who was blind at the time. I don’t know which one is worse. What would have Amanda thought about this?
Devon is always cheating on someone. He cheated on Roxy with Tyra. He helped Hilary cheat on his dad. He already cheated on Amanda before. I wonder if he can stay faithful to Ashley if they stay together.
Maybe the saying is true. Once a cheater, always a cheater. It seems to be true at least for Devon.

Adam’s and Chelsea’s interaction at the treatment center were some of the most mature they’ve had. Adam’s response to Chelsea showed his caring and concern. Adam gets a bum rap from most of GC, but rarely does he earn it. The writers have transformed Adam’s character into someone who is empathetic, caring, and loyal. He is still flawed to insure drama. However, I understand Chelsea’s hesitation to depend totally on Adam. She knows she could fall back in love with him, given half the chance. It’s safer to keep him at arm’s length.

Adam’s reaction to Chelsea’s situation was sensitive and touching. He’s ready, willing and able to give her whatever support she wants from him. No Billy, Adam is not in any way to blame and does not make “every situation worse.” That’s you.
Billy enjoys a shiny object as Jill says. I fail to see how it is healing or wise to have someone with an irrational hatred of Connor’s father stomping around in Chelsea’s life. He has already blamed Adam for Chelsea wanting to jump and says Adam “makes every situation worse.” The reality is that Adam is very important to Chelsea and always will be as Connor’s father. Adam’s loving support and care for Chelsea was very evident on Friday. The show has characters repeat dumb lines about big, bad Adam all the time—but it doesn’t fit who he really is… Read more »
Regardless of what Billy does/doesn’t think/do about Adam, I believe Billy handled Chelsea’s suicide attempt very well in the best way he could figure out to do in a nearly impossible situation. I think he has supported her in a way that is positive. I don’t correlate that w/his or anyone else’s views of Adam – including my own. Nor do I correlate Billy’s support of Chelsea w/anything I may or may not find negative in his character.
I totally agree. Her situation, albeit fictional, is being treated as serious and it is great to see that Adam and Billy are both sincere in their efforts to help Chelsea…Even Connor and Johnny will have to be handled with care.

Lily is really showing her insecurities. As Billy was poring his heart out to explain to Lily why his focus is Chelsea, she kept talking about how this affects her. Toward the end of their conversation, I think a light bulb went off. Here’s hoping his focus and her insecurities won’t cause a crack in their relationship.
I felt like Lily said what she should have. Billy gets lost in his pursuit of new paths & I could see him easily overlooking her support. He keeps saying she’s strong, but that is business Lily, not relationship Lily. Both of which I think he’s letting her down on. I’ma fan and hope they work it out.
Does anyone else think Noah’s nightclub is tacky?
Yes it is tacky! I KEEP LOOKING FOR “THE POLE” for the strippers! 🙂
