If you have access to Paramount+ you should be able to get the August episodes there. Sometimes Youtube.com is a good resource for past episodes as well.

I read that Mark Grossman and Sharon Case have split. Now Mark Grossman and Courtney Hope are dating. Must be messy at work these days.

Not into this kind of news with such incest making me kind of uncomfortable. Let’s just be friends at work. Mark Grossman, there is much fish in the sea and you don’t have to go from Y&R flower to flower, but good choices!

I read that somewhere too Diane Kay. These actors are truly skilled at compartmentalizing the personal from the “make believe”. I guess that’s why they get paid the big bucks. I also may have heard that Bryton James (Devon) and Brytni Sarpy (Elena) were a couple off screen as well and are now no more.

Diane has a sly smile after she gets Ashley to attack her. She enjoys goading the trio of women then plays victim to their shrewish behavior. Smart way to get to Jack, he loves to defend Diane.

And her sneaky/sly ways will be her downfall eventually….and it will be too late for Jack. Again his determination to defend and/or protect Diane will earn him more pain than he could ever think could come his way. She will disappoint him(and Kyle especially)when the whole truth of her time in LA surface, why she really wanted to return to GC and her deceit done to worm her way back into the Abbott family. I hope I’m wrong about Diane but I cannot buy it totally that she is a changed person.

Adam is coming off a little too desperate now and that is not going to win back Sally’s heart. I think Billy is a little too late. Adam can’t expect peoples feelings to be turned on and off like a light switch. Sally’s reaction to Adam’s proposal and attitude towards him seems realistic. Adam hurt Sally deeply and now Sally has moved on to bigger and better things. I would like to see Adam with Sharon. They would have so much chemistry.

Adam is desperate and there is that, but while Adam hurt Sally deeply, as you say, Sally also knows that Adam dumped her misguidedly thinking it was for her own good. Sally explained this was not the case but Adam would not back down. Herin the hurt. Sally is said to understand Adam as a soulmate so I might expect her to have a different take on this situation. Just take him back and be done with it! There is said to be an eye popping engagement ring coming and my phone, which often just makes stuff up, says Chance… Read more »

Sally warned Adam as she demanded the truth when he was so adamant in breaking up with her. In tears, she kept pressing him for the truth in his reason for the breakup but he would not relent in his determination to do it so that she would be successful in keeping her position in running the media company. She warned him that he would regret losing her and it will be his fault and deep pain for the lost. So now…it has come to that and his pain he didn’t anticipate would be so intense and knowing he had… Read more »

Just dawned on me that Ashley & Tucker are actually made for each other.

Great point! Ashley is no amateur at working a plan. Maybe she will team up with Tucker to gain control of Jabot. She’s definitely upset with Jack defending Diane.

Did anyone know that the actress who plays Talia Morgan really is an investigative reporter. II was watching Dateline the other day and she was the reporter on the show. I thought her voice sounded like a real reporter. She doesn’t speak quite the same in real life as she does on the show. She definitely puts on more of a reporter voice on the show. I thought she did a good job and enjoyed her on the show for that short period of time.

Talia Morgan is the lead host of The Talk 5 days a week on CBS as well as taking on the big nighttime investigative reporter assignment – on CBS? I was not familiar with her before but her role on The Talk is very fluffy & frosting filled with her roots actually being in serious TV journalism. On The Talk she is kind of in the position of jumping about like a reddish which seems kind of forced for this more serious person. Natalie Morales seems very nice but i am not feeling her that much. Very good moving into… Read more »

Ali I loved seeing your face light up when you were talking about Danny Romalotti coming back to town and getting back together with Phyllis. That would be fun! Throwing Christine in the mix would be awesome! I would love to see a love triangle between the three of them. I feel like many viewers would love this also as fans always enjoy thinking about past story lines and being brought back to those times. This is why so many shows have remakes such as Full House. They know fans love past loves and romances as well as fun story… Read more »

IF Diane must die no Jeremy Stark cop out in the end. Ashley must pull the trigger in cold blood and suffer the consequences. Step up to the plate, Y&R.

So Ellen, what did you think of Jack’s sapped out Thanksgiving toast this year? I give it high marks as it was all somewhat short & sweet. Diane, too, kept it simple, wisely avoiding the repeat toast that she gave at Kyle & Summer’s wedding that she basically says everyday. Diane
said she was gratefull for Kyle & Harrison and alowed things to move on. Very nice dinner. The table setting looked a little low key for Y&R. No tablecloth, just letting the natural wood shine through. But place cards.

Newest cringeworthy moments- Sally & Nick growing closer. I can’t help think about the age gap.

Yes…yes…YES!!! It is a relationship I just don’t understand that continues. It just seems that Nick always WANT to be involved with all the women that have been with Adam after their times together ends….Sharon, Chelsea, Sage, now Sally. It appears that Nick wants to say indirectly/directly that he can always come out on top even in romance as well as being the favorite son. Nikki’s brood, Victoria and Nick, treats Adam at ever turn with disrespect, disdain, and contempt.

I can’t see any basis for a relationship between Nick & Sally. All they talk about is avoiding Adam or her feelings for Adam. When is Sally going to face the messiness of Nicks dating history with overlapping Adams lovers? Sally fell into Nick just as Adam said, to stick it to him. She might be impulsive, but she wants him to know the pain she felt when he pushed her away. Nick picked Sally because just as you said Delores, he wants to put Adam in his place.

I think it’s all geared to putting the fact that Nick actually was responsible for Ashton Locke’s demise. We don’t see that storyline being entertained anymore. It’s been swept under the rug and I guess that’s a good thing…..I don’t know what more they could have done with that storyline. Having Sally in his life is a great distraction to get his mind off what happened with Locke….Victor doesn’t even seem to bring it up anymore.

FYI..on yesterday I watched on YouTube the podcast by Maurice Benard, “State of Mind” interviewing Melissa Claire Egan. He opened the podcast lauding praises on the performance of MCE and stating she is worthy of an Emmy nomination. Her acting and Y&R story telling regarding depression is A+. The interview was fantastic, bringing tears to Maurice and Melissa, along with recalling many memorable past events. If interested, I highly recommend taking some time out this holiday weekend and give a listen.

Why is Harrison’s hair so long? Is he cast in an outside role, set in prehistoric times? Or is he still in the age category where twin girls play boys? I like guy long hair (listen to me, Nick), but Harrison’s is just a bit distracting. And he seems 4 or 5, but plays with toddler toys. And, he was a talking person when his mother left, but never asks about her, even when Ashland (“Father”) was there, he never asked about “Mother.” Oh well, it’s a soap.

Toni, you bring out the elephant in the room. Wow, it is getting long. Very luxurious. Yes, Harrison would be great in a pre-historic role. I want to call him Bam Bam Rubble of The Flintstones, but Bam has a short mordern blond cut. In an earlier post I had pegged Harrison at 15 given his off camera tooted athleticism, but always joking. You are calling him 4 or 5 but still playing with baby toys. Go figure. That kid is one big curiosity who needs his real mother. Summer is so fawning but Tara Locke could really make that… Read more »

I noticed they seem to have him in babyish clothes and acts silly more like he’s two. The hair is indeed a distraction. Unless he’s staying on as a favor or by contract I’d not mind seeing a recast.

I,too, am finding myself loving me some Tucker…not because of his past encounter with Nate but overall his mystic he carries as he moved around GC and the “supposed threat” he may be to the Newman and Abbott families. IMHO,,,,he is the “Lockness monster” that was meant to shake up things in Geneva City. He demonstrate a lot of confidence, conviction, and certainty. Lookout everyone the best or worse is coming.
