I was living for those Katherine flashbacks ! But I didn’t love the obviously-not-Katherine flashes of her writing the letter.
For some reason this just felt disrespectful to me. Maybe because the actress has passed away in real life as well. LOVED seeing Murphy too! He was such a perfect
Person for Katherine to live that last chapter of her life with.

Ali, I can’t wait to hear your chat Sunday. There was so much going on this week, my head nearly spun around. What a great week on Y&R.

Two more quick comments on this week:

The Friday scene with Nick and Chelsea and the wedding rings was a really nice, symbolic moment. I suspect Faith isn’t done working her mischief, though.

And on the other end of the spectrum from Faith, little Johnny was beyond adorable in his scenes with Billy Boy and Victoria this week. It’s nice to laugh out loud occasionally in the midst of all the drama and Johnny was perfect.

OKAY WOW! Today’s episode blew me away. The music box came back into play and it just had to land in Colin’s hands. But can we please talk about the letter? So as long as I have been watching Y&R, it was always brought to my attention that Phillip loved BOTH Katherine and Jill, but Katherine (God rest her soul) admitting that Phillip only loved Jill?! WHAT!? Now I’m young, so what happened back in the 70s I’m not so keen on but I do know the history of those three characters and the importance Phillip had on both women.… Read more »

I feel that Faith is a little version of Sharon. Don’t get me wrong I love the character of Sharon and enjoy watching her on the show. This scheming to pull Nick away from Chelsea sounds like something Sharon would do. Faith should be able to sit down her parents and say how she feels. But this manipulation is not okay and if no one puts their foot down then it will only get worse….

You just know that slimy Colin is going to uncover something of immense value in that safety deposit box. He’ll probably sell whatever it is, and be able to replace Jill’s money, thus worming his way back into her life.

It took him about two seconds to find what was hidden the the box that Catherine left Jill – I recall that Jill spent forever trying to figure out whether the box contained anything!

Yes. GC BUZZ is horrible. TV’s worst. It’s all fake news. Like the Bardwell sexual harassment story. Do your homework folks or get off the air! With boring guests like Victoria Newman hawking the Jabot men’s body wash line, low ratings will produce more desperate features like the Candy-Kane / shutterbug striptease. New management to save a sinking ship, please…

I love to see Ashlea’s storyline becoming more multi-dementional and have it involve Ravi(I love this character and actor), but I recently read Eileen Davidson may be leaving the show by this summer.
She has written a series of four mystery novels of which the first she has co-written into a script called Dial Emmy For Murder. She will play the part of a soap opera actress who solves crimes on the side. She is also executive producer.

I wonder if they will have Victor write his own book as a storyline to coincide with Eric Braden’s book release. Have it promote his book coming out.

“Victor” was on CBS’ “The Talk” a couple of weeks ago promoting his book “I’ll be Damned”. I happen to catch him on there and he was such a gentleman. When he came out from back stage his presence filled the studio.

I had to gag when Victor and Nikki took umbrage over the revelations in the book “Ruthless”, a expose of the misdeeds of Mr. Newman. It was their belief that the work was nothing more than a product of sensationalistic tabloid journalism; a pilgrimage into the alleged salacious activities of a rich and powerful man, and as such, unsuitable to draw the attention of seriously minded readers. What was really worth noting was Victor’s assertion that he intends to write an exculpatory volume addressing the allegations in the book but would be, as he states, a forthright biography, revealing the… Read more »

And as you wrote, Zoperplex, you have only been watching since 2014! I for one used to enjoy his business scheming because he always had a head start on the others. But I have grown tired of it now and can no longer stand the “I did it for my family” tirade and the angry toned voice that comes with it either.

Well, ZOPERXPLEX, you have been watching since 2014? Imagine going back to the beginning! Crimes included lying, kidnapping, torture, imprisonment, manipulation, browbeating, of course, infidelity, coercion, and sins-great and small-in the name of vanity. If he is writing a tell all, it will need to be volumes, not just a book. And is there anyone who doesn’t like Victor? I don’t think so.

Regarding Phyllis going around asking people if she’s needy: it’s a pretty bet that if you’re asking people that question the answer is ‘yes’.

I loved the scene between Reed and Victoria when he was playing for her. It was so sweet. It was like Victoria was seeing who her son was for the very first time, like her eyes had been opened and she liked what she saw. By the way, I love that song that Reed is singing. I wish there was a way we could download it somewhere.

Consuela, I feel the same way. It is a beautiful dynamic. Also, I’ve tried to find the song but I haven’t had any luck as yet.

Wasn’t Nikki a porn star at one point? I think it is interesting upon hearing the conversation between Nikki and Victoria over Reed purchasing online pornographic material that she mentioned Victoria posing for nude photographs. If it is true (I believe I read about it) can anyone clarify me on this point.

Nikki was a stripper 🙂

I read she was a stripper but as I recall there was a moment when someone remembered seeing her in a porn film and she was expressed the opinion that it was entirely possible that she did appear in one at some point.

How dare you, Zoper! Nikki never did porn! O.K., maybe she did… It is all a haze. Reaching through gauze, I think Nikki may have unwittingly been roped into a porn ring on route to being deported to South America by the great Rose DeVille/Sally Spectra, but was most certainly saved at the last moment! This is how rumors get started! No, wait. It might be me who’s actually spreading the fake news. I forget. Unclear. Sorry, Zoperxplex. Continue. I become wound up… But I do think…

I am glad you cleared some of that up Gary. It appears she wasn’t a porn star. My apologies to Ms. Newman for having besmirched her reputation.

Would Lauren go so far to get the ten million for Scott’s ransom as to sell Jack 2% more in Fenmore’s…giving Jack controlling interest?
